Surely I would have loved to have seen Ayappe, Sayakasan and Asukasan present for the final festivities of the Elder's Club graduation and with all three being either original or second generation members surely it would have been both significant and symbolic had their presence been felt~.

With Hello!Blog's recent all member poll (I have Paul Thomas' very first personal Momusu member ranking later in this post from March 2007 via e-mail) I later realized the errors of my ways in the way in which I approached the poll as my *feelings* for members were sought after in more of confined state rather than in a larger and much broader vision which so should have been my approach (´⌒｀。). For sure if I had a redo, Yukosan without question as well as other elder members would have ranked very high and with Yukosan in particular, she will forever be the everlasting model of what mentoring with an iron fist is all about! XD Her approach to the newer generations were always as an elder would look upon the "youth of today" so to speak often with hilarious and priceless results! =) And while Hello! Project may or may not see such a premium show and premium showcase for their members such as the wonderous Hello! Morning ever again it will forever represent all that is possible with the right idols, producers, writers, creativity, timing and yes~…..wacky batsu games!!!! (￣▽￣)♥

But getting back to the all inclusive H!P member list….the all time list…..Hello!Blog's top 10….I have failed..(´⌒｀。)…..so I took a bit of a trip down memory lane after the Elder's Club fan messages below in taking a look at how my favorite member lists evolved over the years, but while I've been a fan since February 1998 when I ordered "Morning Coffee" as a "blind" purchase not knowing them yet but being hooked ever since~!…my earliest favorite member list was written on October 25th, 2002….and then I've included a couple of favorite H!P song lists from awhile back.

And now…here for one last time as H!P members, the Elder's Club sends fans worldwide their thanks and love~…

My early Momusu member rankings…

~Surely if these were re-written today there would be changes…..with Nono & Konkon being much higher, but as these lists represent moments in time forever frozen, doing so would completely defeat the purpose of these recollections.~ Familiarity with members also comes into play as I lived through the debut and growth of the entire H!P and Momusu in real time from early 1998 being able to watch them grow individually as girls, idols, performers and professionals…..so some of the then newer members definitely would rank higher or differently today in hindsight. =)

Aichan moves to #1 after Nacchi's graduation from Momusu…. and the reign of Kamei nears as she moves from 12th to 5th……….. XD But the reign of Aichan would last for many seasons with Rikachan always nearby. In some ways I've forgotten how I felt about each member individually back then and this is now just refreshing my memory to its fullest. =)

Hmmm….and here are two favorite H!P song lists from 2002 & 2005. I would literally spend hours a day up to an entire week thinking these out near year's end back then in order to be able to type out a favorite songs♪~. ＾　＾ And along the way I actually wore out one of my portable CD player's laser as I would repeatedly go through songs over and over in trying to compare them to one another in terms of which I liked better, often with so much difficulty in choosing……is this one better? or that one or should this be higher? that one lower or this other one in between? XD……rip my dear Sony CD player~ (´⌒｀。)……your laser truly paid for the making of these lists. Here are just two of them but I'd make one every year at year's end until I decided that it was just too time consuming and difficult as each following list would be a commulitive listing keeping the previous songs in place while adding in between…higher and lower my newest favorite♥ songs from the new year~…….and just the thought of sacrificing another CD laser would be just too much to bear~ (;゜□゜)!! But on second thought I wouldn't need a CD player anymore as digital files are now the norm…..so no more lasers to worry about! =)

For All the love…..

…has been the ongoing theme for H!P concerts leading up to last month's graduation of the Elder's Club. Hmm…is Tsunku showing us the universal sign for "love?"…….me thinks he's actually showing how large the mountain of $cash$ in his basement has grown over the years of taking advantage um no I meant entertaining us~ by saying "this much!"…(^q^) Ahhhh it looks like Iidasan's mountain of $ has somehow overtaken an unsuspecting Tsunku…..things would not end so peacefully after this photoshoot when a camera crewmember unwittingly points out this little detail~… 😛

While individual member shirts are set by assigned colors I do love the occasional group shirt which comes in only one color….and with gray, blue, pink, black and yellow being favorite personal colors the sight of a gray Berryz Koubou T-shirt was a most welcome sight!! ………(゜∀゜)………。I think the only two other gray H!P shirts are 2 Kohachan designs from awhile back. Gray simply goes with anything and everything….just like *pink* does~. (。ーωー。)

Group photo sets are also a large part of the attraction to collect these as I tend to not ever wear some of them but that being mostly due to them being somewhat too large for me to fit into properly…..people on the street may think that I just woke up from a friend's slumber party had I worn some of these giant H!P shirts outdoors! 😛 Then there's the possibility of using our dryer to shrink them a bit…although sometimes not even that approach is successful…(._.;).

*shave ice blue!!!* XD

Okay this shirt is just gigantic! 😮 I don't think even the dryer's power can be of help as it's much much too large for me!! (;´□｀) But the 10th anniversary theme was a must have even in hindsight…..so this one goes into the "collection area" rather than the "to be worn area."

After gazing at H!P's symbolic figure on the front for awhile I began to wonder if perhaps GEICO had gotten their idea for that money thingie staring at you stuff from UFI……………(・c_・;)？They're both cute although one saves you money while the other takes it away~. (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ$$$$!……hence the *wink*. 😉

Their 10th anniversary concert events also lend to a most amazing back design which lists the Elder's Club, all members of all three "main" UFI groups as well as soloist Manoeri~……so far this is the only shirt that I have which bears so many member names at once.

Ohta was offering these in a rainbow of assorted colors although I haven't checked recently to see if they're still being listed, but amongst all of the colors was this most awesome color that I like to refer to as shave ice blue…(*´∀｀*). Just looking at this color gives me the sudden urge to go to our North Shore and get some shave ice in this flavor….although we actually did own a little shave ice maker thingie which gave your arm a real workout during those *warm* summer days…..I wonder what ever happened to it. ???

And here's the gray BK shirt that I mentioned earlier….this one is significantly smaller than the shave ice blue one above so it can be worn although I'm not yet sure if I will or not at the moment. These sets are always a bit more pricier nearing $60-70 as they also include member photos and the ever present wristband. =) Of course being there in person to purchase them would save lots and lots of $$$….but for now I will totally embrace these prices albeit quite heightened~!

I really like Chiichan, Maasa and Momo's photos in this set! And the gray shirt being almost the right size will even go with a pink pair of pants or shorts….. o(*´∀｀)o゛♥
On second thought would that appear odd?…(u_u*)

Update…

With the blessing of my brother I've finally gotten my own e-mail account attached to the original blog…..so now this blog is truly my own and PMs are now truly "private" ＾　＾……….(*sigh*) the problem being that I now needed to somehow merge both blogs together and although there were only a handful of posts so far at the then new site it still took me all day (;_;) to transfer the posts together here. There was no easy way to transfer comments on the newer posts so I needed to put them directly into those posts…..really looks odd I know as those comments are now visible with those posts at all times……but It would have been really sad if I didn't bring them along I think.

Hmm…things will hopefully look a lot more normal when every thing's settled a bit more here but for now I apologize for the mess….. >_<;

To go into a bit more depth…….

In the past I'm guessing some confusion had arisen in regards to the author of MorningBerryz as really the blog was kept in an anonymous state for most of its existence until quite recently when I thought it was time to be myself….sorry I know that's not always a good thing! 😛 The blog was originally opened by my brother who later found it not to be his thing…blogging, then turning it over to me……but what probably remained odd over my time spent there is that a few of his early posts during the very first months are still there while many he deleted as they were in his words…."just a bit too random" XD and a few are still in their original form. Also for any giveaways that I did he was very insistent that I didn't use my address so instead my brother would insist on mailing them himself from his address…..brotherly love can be very protective at times but I know that he does this for me. And to keep an eye on me (or at least this is my logical reasoning for this (・_・) ) his address was continued to be used as the one in which VOX would send out notifications of comments, replies, PMs and neighborhood adds where I was allowed to log in also to retrieve my comments and personal messages.

But in this sense I never really had any privacy of my own…….PMs I believe were being "screened" and about two weeks ago it all just became a bit too much for me…..the TLS article really just an added reason to want to disappear….I tend to be too sensitive at times I know. 😦 My brother knows how much I love this blog and how much I've written here over the past two years + and when I finally moved away to gain my privacy by closing this blog and opening a new one I think he finally realized what it meant to me truly…….the e-mail address attached to this blog is now solely mine with a changed password just for me……….so it's like I've run around in a circle these past few days only to find myself back where I began.  I'm so sorry for all of the trouble of changing addresses and neighborhood adds……….I promise to live here from now on……….this is now truly my VOX blog. ＾　＾

When considering debut efforts, Tackey & Tsubasa's debut album "Hatachi" remains amongst the strongest that I've come across over the years of collecting J-Pop. The album contains 9 tracks and all are extremely well written and I don't find it to be a stretch to say all of them could have been singles in their own right. And while I do whole heartedly love all of their releases since which I've been busy collecting, there's a definite separation between the musical styles heard on "Hatachi" verses their later releases which can be pin pointed to the songwriters for T & T's early releases whom are no longer composing for them sadly. :/ Groups of course go through numerous phases, trends and styles throughout their careers but this is definitley one that I would have really loved to have seen stay around for just a bit longer. The melodies are just so instantly beautiful and attractive on this release beginning with "True Heart" continuing throughout the album till "Epilogue" and "True Heart"'s international version sung in English.

A beautiful tribute to New York and the terrible tragedy that occurred on 9/11 is shared in the stand out track "The world will never forget…" also making its release date a seemingly conscious thought. My first impression of Tackey & Tsubasa  was how well their voices compliment each others and how distinctly different they are all the while blending together so seamlessly. There's also a great bond between them as both have a great sense of humor while not taking themselves too seriously which lends itself into a endearing relationship between artist and fan all the while creating quite a different spin on the music scene in the form of a fresh breath of air while the contrary can sometimes be a turn off for some. Both are also active in t.v. dramas while Takizawa Hideaki takes a slight lead when it comes to overall popularity and exposure.

Tackey & Tsubasa (Takizawa Hideaki & Imai Tsubasa) are part of the "Johnny's Entertainment Group" and an interesting aspect of this is how it nearly mirrors the structure of Hello! Project in terms of member recruitment, grooming process, as well as group formation. JE's answer to H!P's Eggs are their Johnny's Jr. group. The familiar process of starting off as back up dancers/singers until finally becoming a part of a chosen group is very much the same as it is with H!P with the exception of widespread auditions. Johnny's Jr. however holds an edge when it comes to early performance exposure as H!P Eggs tend to remain well kept secrets until emerging in new units & groups with only minimal stage appearances during select H!P concert events. Tackey & Tsubasa debuted shortly after Arashi and were common members in the Johnny Jr.'s pool while going through the grooming process giving them a nice link to each other.

Woaaah !!! It was sutch a long time ago i listened to these totally AWESOME guys! Uh they are absolutely one of my favourites… I actually had a little crush on Tackey haha XD ❤ I remember when i got my first cd from them (I think it was their first album) XD My mum thought i was going nuts… I was jumping around the house of happyness , i think i was screaming to >u< My friend bought me the cd on my birthday… I dont remember how old i was thought >.< But it was a while ago :3 I need to find the cd! when we moved to another place i kind of ''lost'' a lot of things sutch as cds >__< Uh!! ❤ Well anyways thank you sooo mutch for reminding me! ❤

That's so awesome that a friend gave you their debut CD for your *birthday*!! ＼(^o^)／☆ Tackey alone is definitely a reason to love them so much….and they sound so incredible together as they each sing so differently in a complimentary way~. =) I'm trying to remember if this was 6 or 7? years ago?……I need to check the release date to be sure. Happy Easter!!…The Rainbow Connection. ＾ ＾

Hi minnasan! I hope everyone is having a wonderful and fun Easter Sunday! I'll celebrate Easter with a prayer as we don't tend to color eggs anymore……..I wonder if it has something to do with my not eating eggs anymore?… (._.;) Just a guess! 😛 But I do love the occasional egg fight which typically ensues during the following week………and also egg sandwiches..Yech! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ……..egg salad..Yech! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ………eggs in general Yech! 😛 But I do ♥ to color them nonetheless o(*´∀｀)o゛♥.

In the past I posted a…..um somewhat scary bunny..or at least one "WU" said it was *scary*!! 😮 ……so this year I thought why not a most universally *touching* song~?

A perhaps strange inkling in me likes to consider even music outside of Japan to be "J-Pop" when it occurs in a Japanese drama…..strange I know but after watching 10-12 episodes and being absolutely glued to one's television for three months I can't help but begin to feel so *attached* to these theme songs even if they're not Japanese compositions. The drama I'm thinking of today is "恋がしたい恋がしたい" which stars Mizuno Miki, Watabe Atsuro, Kanno Miho, Oikawa Mitsuhiro, Tokoro George and Yamada Takayuki.

In a drama of mismatched loves and heartbreak…..you know when you have *feelings* for a particular special someone but those feelings are not reciprocated as you had so wished for….those were the underlying stories in this drama. I wonder if I am not alone here in those very feelings…..more often than not can be so hurtful but it's always the *hope* which keeps you pushing onward because we know…we just know that our *true* loves are out there somewhere for each and every one of us to find~ ………(゜∀゜)………。

So after three months of having a special emotional connection to this theme song as used in "Koi ga shitai koi ga shitai" I find myself considering this recording a "J-Pop" song in a truest sense….lol I know I'm most weird for this but within the workings of my emotions it's inevitable. And I so remember when I first went looking for it only to find it absent on any of the Carpenter's U.S. releases………….(picture me in a Borders store with a large question mark over my head!) (・c_・;)？It took me awhile to finally find and purchase this release….all the while feeling empty as I so wanted to own this song♪♪! :/

What's astounding about this recording is that it sat on the shelves literally hidden away for years……from what I've read in the liner notes it looks to have been kept hidden away for over two decades before finally being released. If any hardcore record collectors are reading this then I know that you understand what I mean when I say….isn't it odd when an artists/groups' recording is released exclusively outside of that artists/groups' very own country??? (・c_・;)？So is the case with the Carpenter's version of "The Rainbow Connection" which has seen an exclusive release in Japan….(if it's been released in the U.S. since please inform me! =) )……and to think that this was an 'outtake?' 😮 The orchestration was added years later as Karen Carpenter sang this without its full production and the recording was never used on any album until much much later in 1999 when the recording was re-introduced with post production leading to its eventual Japanese release on "as time goes by."

It's funny how a drama can lead to such a discovery as it did for me………….and while the drama itself remains as a sort of lukewarm experience the song performed by the one of the most beautiful voices ever from Karen Carpenter will forever remain a classic~. =) Her vocals will always be one of the most touching and memorable….and who can't but love "The Rainbow Connection"~……"the lovers the dreamers and me." =)

I hope you enjoy this most beautiful rendition of such an amazing and timeless composition for past generations and hopefully generations to come………………"The Rainbow Connection."

Wait, isn't that a Kermit the Frog song? The Muppet Movie, right? It is a beautiful song MB. And on a personal note, the writer of it, Paul Williams befriended me when I was younger and actually helped me get into radio. I haven't seen him for a long time. But I will always remember him as someone who started me on my first true career path. And he is such an amazing songwriter too. An amazing catalog, and this song is right up there with his best stuff!

And I completely agree with you about theme songs and how they connect to us on a personal level. I can think a few myself that hold a special place in my heart.

Initially I was feeling a little empty while watching the pvs for Manoeri's "Otome no inori" single as I just felt that the production was a bit too plain and simple……..now fast forward after a few days of soaking in this pv and I've totally changed my mind~!

The simplicity becomes complimentary towards the song itself as "Otome no inori" is quite an elegant song with each piano note♪ resembling tiny soft footsteps amidst a clear white canvas. In addition, Manoeri's vocals are arguably sowewhat plain….however I find her voice to be that of youth's charm~……and so much in the vein of UFA's approach for marketing her. While surely her vocals will change over time I wouldn't mind really at all if her voice remained this way for years to come. =)

It was really adorable to see how really taken Manoeri is with the piano♪♪ set up for her…mid giant cube~!….as she carefully surveyed it's chords, construction and even went to have a peek underneath for a second. ＾　＾ Her *adorable* giggles are of pure honesty with no restraints……I'm finding this aspect of her to be quite reminiscent of one most adorable Kamei~! Although at this point in time Kamei's honest "giggles" are much more explosive and ♥~pirate~♥ like at times in comparison…(^q^)

The pv DVD single which was released on March 25th has a running time of approximately 23 minutes and includes the original as well as a "piano version" of "Otome no inori"'s pvs. It was actually a nice surprise to see during the making of segment that the giant pink box which serves as her stage with piano is real and not of a blue screen post production making. As a premium amount of attention has been the aesthetics of Manoeri's releases….ie: 4 different versions with four different cover art work designs to speak of, much of the making of segment is dedicated to the various photo shoots which were utilized for those release covers….with the second half of so being dedicated to the actual pv's making of. Cute little breaks here and there disclose the often giddy side of her personality along with a few question & answer moments~. =) And each wardrobe change….(and there are quite a lot of them for this one pv!)….is highlighted with a little show and tell by Manoeri as she displays and tells of her likes of each one…..for me seifuku usually always wins but her yellow and white outfits are sooooo cute too~!

Hey, I just found out now through her blog, her birthday was on April 11. So maybe this could be considered a birthday post, in some convenient time zone =P it's showing it as added on 12th at 3PM… hum, maybe not.
Manoeri is an interesting one, I quite like her but I'm not into her songs… I've gotten used to her vocals already, it's just that I get bored pretty fast.

I really need to keep track of idol birthdays as I'm so terrible at it! (>_<); LOL I totally missed it…..not even a chance of me making believe that this was a Happy Birthday post! 😛 It's usually her vocals that I think turn some potential fans off…..I'm happy that you've taken a liking? to them? =) Idols who perform on instruments regularly are so rare it seems now days as opposed to the past….I really love that she plays the piano so well and to be able to sing at the same time too~….lol I know I'm so simple minded. 😛

At 560 yen Kindai's monthly publication stands as one of the most affordable…..(lol I say affordable as I usually end up paying anywhere from $21-$25 for a single issue after shipping charges have been added on)…as well as one of the more diverse idol/entertainment publications out there. What I mean by diverse is that when I first came across this magazine I was quite puzzled by its format initially as I couldn't really tell whom they were catering to…..fangirls?….male wota?……but after considering the approach that Kindai has taken in making themselves attractive to both aforementioned groups it's simply pure genius on their part that they have managed to snag a greater audience by um…confusing me at first!…(^q^)

Kindai also presents its readers with everything from male/female eyecandy to interviews, drama previews, in depth interviews with your favorite idols, general idol news, glossy pull outs, occasional stickers!….and lots of more content!!

For the May issue I scanned the features for C-ute, Momusu, Kohachan, Berryz Koubou, Manoeri, cute Nino♥!, gorgeous Matsujun♥!, always adorable Ueto Aya, Aibakun! and Ishihara Satoko.

The Johnny's boys are featured in articles presenting their new spring dramas with Nino in TBS's "DOOR TO DOOR"….Matsujun in TBS's "Smile"…..and Aibakun in "Green Fingers"….hmm here we call it having a green thumb. =) Seeing C-ute with a 6 member lineup reminds me sadly of Kannachan's hiatus from the group due to bunion……omg that looks so awfully painful (´⌒｀。). Get well soon Kannachan~! C-ute just isn't C-ute without you~! I wanted to include a partial translation of Manoeri's question & answer and I may have that up a bit later time allowing. Ueto Aya always looks so amazing and I love her CM spot being highlighted in her pictorial……..but really next to Matsujun always looking so handsome in "Smile" I'm really liking C-ute in their feature….so adorable as they continue to grow into young ladies……..Maimichan is already there! But then I'm sad again thinking of Kannachan's absence…..(;´□｀). Get well soon Kannachan…..I'm sure all C-ute fans miss you so much~. ＾　＾

Shipping is always so expensive though! 😮 I've also looked at subscriptions and orders from Cdjapan and Amazonjapan but I think they cost a bit more if I ordered through them instead although I just noticed that Cdjapan has reduced their shipping charges for every type of shipping at their site. ＾　＾

This past Sunday I was watching an old episode of SmapXSmap as we have a few video rental stores which sell or rent Japanese t.v. programs…..this disc was from one of their discounted sales bin. I was watching a few of them in a row but I think the bistro guest was Sawajiri Erika on this episode whom has very much a sweet tooth to speak of!

The ending musical guest was Chara whom I hadn't listened to in what seems like ages and ages and she and Smap who accompanied her opened up with "Swallowtail Butterfly~ai no uta~"……..I actually felt *goosebumps* at sound of the very first notes♪♪! It was quite a nostalgic moment as I hadn't taken out and listened to any of my Chara CDs in quite a long time! o(*´∀｀)o゛I only own 3 of her releases from the late 90's and Chara, who composes much of her own lyrics & music is quite diffcult to categorize musically as within a single album you'll come across songs ranging in feelings from folk to jazzy to r&b/house like…..but none of it seems to quite all into a pure "pop" format which is quite remarkable considering she sort of would be filed under "pops" in a record store I imagine.

Here's "Swallowtail Butterfly…" a most memorable song from the "YEN TOWN BAND" soundtrack. It really possesses a beautifully dramatic melody and it's quite nostalgic hearing it now. Chara's vocals are however very much one of an acquired taste and I mean this in a wholeheartedly sense! =) 'Acquired taste' as in my father telling me that "beer will one day taste good"…..hmmm still waiting for that day!…although Chara's interesting vocals could come around to one much sooner. 😛 …And I find myself at odds trying to find the right words to quite describe them accurately……breathy, raspy, whispery?, raw…..truly undefined. ＾　＾

A friend of mine thinks I'm sort of weird whenever I listen♪♪ to Chara…….XD lol but it's okay~!

"Swallowtail Butterfly" is sort of a nostalgic song♪ for me….I find that people either love or don't care for her vocals though as they are quite different~! That may be putting it lightly though. XD I'm happy that you enjoyed this song…I guess it could be called classic J-Pop at this point. =)

I have a Shiina Ringo album which is really great too! Her vocals are much easier to get attached to…….lovely rock sound!

Ohhh a vocalist should never smoke! 😮 Although a lot them do I guess…….so true that Chara's vocals have always been on the breathy light side but I just find something so oddly attractive about them. =) Especially in this song…..it always fills me with a wonderful melancoly *emotion*. I only have three of her much older releases and I haven't followed her music since…..now I'm curious as to how she sounds more recently. =)

Hello!Blog H!P poll top 10.

Each year Paul Thomas at Hello!Blog is even more and more creative with his poll's design….this year's one being one of the most amazing yet!! It's still available to take until the 10th of this month here. ^ ^ Judging by the amount of votes this year that Paul has received so far, the results should quite reflective of the fan consensus outside of Japan as well an within as I believe he mentioned that his poll was linked in Japan as well. =) In any case I think it'll be more of the international fanbase being heard here…I can't wait to see the final results and I'm just hoping that perhaps a few of my favorites will show up~. (*´∀｀*)♪♪

This was sooooooooooo difficult to complete! (・c_・;)？…as I repeatedly scrolled back and forth through the member choices. It was quite unprecedented for me to need to choose between all of H!P including their 3 "flagship groups", active Eggs, soloist and the entire Elder's club which sadly just officially graduated at the end of last month. (´⌒｀。)

So in this sense this is also somewhat of a farewell poll as the Elder's Club has graduated and UFA looks to be headed in much more "idol/youth" direction.

My top 5 choices were somewhat easier choices than the final 5 which had me wanting repeatedly to add in Yukosan, Manoeri, Shibata Ayumi, Nakki, Airiin, Miya, Junjun…..and lol I should now stop before I name everyone in the poll…(^q^)

Let's see…..Nacchi for helping to put this all together, what we now know as H!P…..Kamei for her awesome cuddly quirkiness!~♥……Aichan for her upmost professionalism, vocals and role model qualities~………Maimichan for being soooo beatiful!!…..(okay not really having any deep thoughts right now but I didn't want to cause sleepiness from my otherwise over indulgence in reasoning 😛 )……..Ayaya for the best vocals in H!P (she'll be missed so much (;´□｀) )…..Momo for being so adorable and so full of helium, may your voice always remain so cute!……Riichan for always making me smile and yes! that little button nose of hers =)……Gakisan for always being so wonderfully honest and *real*, think "Mechaike bakajo" test & her interesting ideas on an amusement park family getaway as shared on Music Figher~……Nocchi for being the cutest Egg who need so much more attention please! =)……..and lastly Kohachan, for without you Momusu/H!P would be so much less energized, ♥~frantically hyper~♥……and my goodness, how else would we sell all of this Red Bull? o(*´∀｀)o゛

You know, I thought it was weird that you were closing your blog. You always put a lot of effort in your previous one, and since you're not being paid, you either liked it or were just crazy. So if you ever closed it, I thought it'd be after a series of bad posts showing that you were getting tired of it, and I couldn't notice anything like that.
I'm obviously glad you're back o(^-^)o You usually post while I'm sleeping, so reading your blog and Dilbert before going to school/uni has been an habit for, I don't know, one year and something already. It was really difficult and heartbreaking to leave…..hmmm my mom used to wonder why I spent so much time on my laptop especially when I should have gone to bed already on work nights when I need to wake up early the next morning. Lol MB. XD You're too cute! I think the results of these polls really depended on how the poller was looking at it. For me, I used this to think about my top H!P members of all time, simply because the Elder Club were graduating. If I had looked at it as my current top H!P members, Rika definitely would have been in the top 10, but I think Miya would have been number 2. Probably, Rika would have been #6 for me, if I went by current top H!P members, with Maimi jumping up to #3 (Aichan and Risa staying the same, and Hitomi moving down 1). But really, the top 10 people would have stayed the same… The order would have just been rearranged a bit…

Also, I replied to your comment on my blog. XD It's kinda funny double commenting on pretty much the same thing, but I said different things, so I guess that should be okay. ^_^

Aside from Nacchi, Aichan and Ayaya, thinking about it now I don't think that my head was on the right way when I did these a few days ago…(u_u*). If it were truly a reflection of an all time ranking which……um it should have been 😛 ……there would definitely be a few changes. You had the right idea going into it….me not so much. I do try to post about a hopefully broader culture outside of H!P as I tried to put together something organized awhile ago here although it does need updating with links and a final spot atop the front page…….in terms of 'showing off' though that was never ever an intention and I would simply rather disappear than do such a thing. For me the term itself 'gets' is quite foreign as I never viewed anything that I purchased unwittingly (there have been bad blind purchases in the past for sure! 😛 ) or otherwise in this manner. One of my main focuses has been to try to grow groups/idols/artists/J-dramas/J-movies's fanbases through hopefully sharing. A part of this has been including links to purchase merchandise, CDs, DVDs, etc. in hopes of inspiring in some way for more support for artists/groups/etc. which is what ensures their continued existence for fans to enjoy but I've always just thought that being able to see what you're potentially going to purchase may help in some way. And I just thought it helped to show support in purchasing our favorite artists/idols merchandise and releases in seeing that the releases I was trying to promote were actually in my possession and not downloads. Furthermore by scanning magazines and shashinshuu my hopes are that by being able to see the layouts and features fellow fans will also want to support these publications/idols/artists and purchase them too. I apologize greatly if this has been of a most disservice while my intentions have been most definitely otherwise. 😦 I've been exploring and collecting J-Pop/idols for about 15 or so years..a bit longer (as I began working in my early to mid teens…not sure if that's a good thing though XD ) and I just thought that by sharing about different artists/idols that I've come across over time would inspire others to love them too or perhaps just discover their music or personalities. I'm now wondering if I should post photos anymore. I don't know. And whether I should even blog anymore. I just had no idea that I was thought of in this way. There was never an intention to be "showy" as it's just not in my nature and never will be…..just a love of Japanese culture which I'm part of in heritage and love.

There's really perhaps much more to be expressed on such a broad subject but these are my initial personal feelings and thoughts.
