I'm sort of like every collectors nightmare (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ as I open up every figure that I've ever purchased!…(^q^) Long ago I used to keep my FFVII figures carefully preserved in their original packaging..careful not to open or harm or dent them in any way……but then one day I thought hmmmm nande? (・c_・;)？If I never intend to sell them or trade them or part with them then…..why keep them cooped up in their packaging ne~! Σ(￣◇￣*)！！！So I sort of let them out to "play"…or well be out in the open on shelves rather~. =)

So why the "gothic punk version" of Mikuruchan???? and when there were bunny versions or maid versions available????…….I think when Haruhi arrives it'll make much more sense then! ＾ ＾ I kind of wanted them to *match*~.

It seems that Haruhi is still somewhere in transit to here so until then, Miss Mikuru shall remain unreleased~. A~hhhh I know I get so obsessed and go overboard whenever I plunge into something new and *endeared*…..hmm it just can't be helped I guess with my nature~. (。ーωー。)

I’ve found ♥ in "The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" DVD box set

It's not too often that I see clips like these and if you watch I think you'll be really *moved* by them and their honesty and warmth. ＾＾

Before getting to those aforementioned *words* which I truly have to say….I've never ever imagined hearing from an idol/seiyuu or really any artist for that matter and I mean that so sincerely,………….I just want to say I'm now in total "Haruhi" heaven!!!! ………(゜∀゜)………。Not long ago I wasn't watching really any anime at all but for these past few days (Saturday till early this morning!) I've been totally hooked on Haruhi! After consuming all 350 minutes of the 14 episodes in the complete episode box set I ended up watching not only all of the Japanese extras but also all of the ASOS Brigade episodes, making of and preview clips as well. ＾　＾

I don't think I've ever consumed a box set so completely as I did with this one as not a single link or minute was left unclicked by early morning's end and now I'm left with that oh so empty and sad feeling……like I've somehow lost a very close friend. (*sigh*…) so no more new episodes to watch I thought……why did I have to watch them all so quickly in such a short period of time?!!! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ ……..happily Harimakenji just informed me of a second season now underway in broadcasts in Japan!! Life is *happy* again! (￣▽￣)

As this is a most well known series and I'm so so way behind on discovering it I'll refrain from gushing ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。！！too much….so just a little! Things I find so endearing about "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" series……Kyon's narration: there's something so warm and ensuring about his tone, phrasing, pace and Yes~! his sense of reality and relatable perception through it all~….great stories always need great storytellers ne~. =) / The offbeatness of the characters and all of those sly inside jokes and jabs which occur throughout…..some based on popular culture while others maybe just on common mannerisms…beliefs….Santa Claus, aliens, people from the future & psychics..oh! and the logic of physics! XD / Asahina Mikuru……all anime craves the pinnacle of cuteness and she's definitely all of that and beyond~! / Theme songs~…opening, ending and all of those in between…especially those in "Live Alive"..a most wonderful moment in the series and the more you can listen to Hirano Aya sing♪♪!!..or just speak!!..the better!! / Bunny, maid and all other included cosplay outfits! OMG! and there's seifuku too! ♥~♥~♥~! / Which then leads to a great abundance of boob gratuities and how Haruhi seems to love dressing and undressing or was it undressing and then dressing???…well either way it was worthy of a few nosebleeds I'm sure from the male audience! XD / The name or should I say acronym itself: SOS Brigade….brilliant!! / Supernatural baseball! / Supernatural video game battles! / Did I already mention maid outfits and green tea? XD / Snow White?!….yes the *kiss*! / Yuki!….so soft spoken and her much too calm ♥demeanor♥ all hiding what's really inside!…..really one of the best characters ever written!! (dead accurate "fortunes" anyone? 😮 ) / So let's see……..characters, voices, pacing….oh and of course story line!! There's more but I should stop or this could go on for awhile…(^q^)

When Anise & Cloves mentioned all of the extras included when you purchase the DVDs I never imagined there being this amount or in particular this quality of extras included! In addition to Nekoman galleries…and Aya draws some really cute art throughout the extras!, broadcast previews, TV commercials, special opening and ending sequences and a most amusing documentary like feature on the American end to the production team and promotion……the most beloved feature has to be the eight part making of Haruhi Suzumiya clips which cover everything from Hirano Aya's "Bouken desho desho?" 2nd single campaign tour, amazingly real and candid in studio footage of the recording and its rehearsals including inprovisational conversations, tours of the actual anime studio!…with some most adorable art presented by Ayachan!!!, insight into the anime process itself including introductions to the production team!, extensive CM making of footage with on location filming and direction, aliens & so much more………..oh and Yes~!..what I have been eluding to from the very beginning when I first started typing the title atop which surges from a most emotional final to Hirano Aya's single campaign where a most heartfelt thank you is said to fans everywhere supporting her…then culminating into the most ＊endearing＊ words ever spoken by an idol/seiyuu/actress/artist ever!! ♥

Suzuki Airi in “Aoiro” & your chance to take Airiin home..well sort of! =)

Released on June 25th, Airiin has released her already fourth shashinshuu! The weather in Taiwan met her with rainy circumstances throughout but nothing could cloud her genki side and that of so quirkiness that we ~♥~!

The reading of her pb's title is a kanji compound which could be read in a few different ways and at first I went with "Aoshoku"…but now I'm thinking "Aoiro" may be more common…any corrections of course are most welcome. ＾　＾

Whether or not it was the photographer's intention or not the overcast skies give "Aoiro" moodier undertones and your really have to love the architecture which can be seen in both modern and classic scenery throughout~. The older buildings speak volumes of history and much of their insides are both cozy and beautiful……what I really adore the most though is that gigantic red bird cage structure which sits between two main streets. ………(゜∀゜)………。 It's something that I'd imagine to see sitting in the middle of a park rather but it makes such an impressionable sight and perhaps even more so being in that chosen spot. In any case it's really *adorable* and at first I thought…..is that a rubber chicken beside her in the background but upon seeing the much closer photo it appears to be rather ceramic? LOL and I don't think it's a chicken anymore!…(^q^) Of course it's a yellow canary or rather something similar ne~! 😛

今日。。。

Miso, ogo, tofu, soba and a *pretty* continental salad~! Oh and one very dear little friend! o(*´∀｀)o゛Not all for me of course!!….and a friend of mine keeps referring to this style of eating as "viking"…..lol it's rather the way the Japanese refer to a buffet as we call it here in America. "Bainkingu…."

Whenever there's soba I'm always in ♥~! I can't even explain how much I love soba!! And it doesn't matter how it's prepared or pretty much what it's eaten with. Yakisoba and any kind of udon noodles….but my most favorite has to be zarusoba! We even have those pretty serving dishes for them as there was a time when zarusoba was eaten a minimum of at least 5 times week every week for dinner! ………(゜∀゜)………。And ramen of course must be mentioned….the only thing being that I for one cannot seem to capture the enjoyment of ramen quite the way other Japanese do. What I mean is how they're able to *slurp*~*slurp*~*slurp*~~~~~~them up so quickly especially when they're so hot!!!! (゜Д゜;) And seemingly without burning themselves too! 😮 Here I am blowing on them first! (。ーωー。) When I was little my grandmother used to tell me that all of that *slurping* sounds that you hear means that the person is truly enjoying their meal and a compliment to its preparer! (*´∀｀*)♪♪ I fail so badly here and I fear that the cook may think me rude as there isn't much sound to speak of when I eat ramen~.

The DVD has a running time of approximately 77 minutes and in addition to the original versions for all of their major label release singles  from “Sakura chirari” to “Bye Bye Bye!” you’ll also find dance shot versions for all 8 singles and for songs like “Sakura chirari” which didn’t see a dance shot version the first time around on either their CD or pv DVD single releases this little bit makes it a worthwhile addition in addition of course to the convenience and prettyness of having them all together~. Also included are separate TV-spots in both 15 and 30 second versions for all eight singles and TV-spots for their album releases “2 mini~生きるというか～”, “3rd~LOVE エスカレーション！～” and “憧れMY STAR.” I love when these are voiced by the members themselves which makes for cute ads~!

加護亜依 ファーストソロリリース”no hesitAtIon”

Just released on June 24th!! Kago Ai is finally back into the music scene releasing her very first solo effort which teams her with one of Japan's most accomplished composer/ producers in Nakanishi Keizo!

There's definitely a maturity to speak of in listening to both tracks which Aibon penned lyrics for both…and in particular with the coupling with song♪♪ "Children of the night" where much of the song is dominated with English lyrics~. A yearning and shining of *hope* glitters in her writing and with all of the life lessons and experiences Aibon has gone through from such an early age till now….surely a lot of which is read into her words can be without doubt be attributed to such experiences and pressures brought upon her in both joy and facing the ups and downs with consequences of life~.

01 no hesitAtIon

Vocally Aibon still engulfs that wonderful youthfulness which H!P fans of long have embraced through her time in both Momusu and alongside long time partner in crime..(pun intended please don't throw tomatoes! XD) Nono. Much of the title track takes me back to Aibon's solo recording of Momusu's "Dadidudedodadi"…not in melody but rather in its rich and bright flavor along with that oh so unique voice which is unmistakable. The child inside of the woman which we now see before us is all grown up, but much of the aura of this feel good release still resides back there and it's a most welcome listening~.

02 Children of the night

Both tracks are composed with a folk/rock flavor to them with distinct undertones of optimism and Aibon's writing really benefits and collaborates well with Nakanishi's music expertise as both tracks sound rather like those of longtime pairings giving this debut a both memorable and highly impressionable sound. One cute little thing that I get a kick out of is Aibon's sweet interlude which occurs midway through "Children of the night"…all spoken in English, here she once again sounds so childlike that for a tiny instant one can imagine her once again as both a symbol of innocence in a time when Momusu was so different…unflappable without need for reform~.

With Momusu's last two singles and now with S/mileage Tsunku has really gone back to the bright and fun sound of J-Pop♪♪~ which is always so welcome. I don't purchase too many indies singles but this one was a must have!!! I'm still wondering if there'll be an official pv and as I type this I'm most likely clueless to its existence already. XD

To be honest I had a most dumb moment when I first saw the name Tsunku had chosen for this new unit….I was like….."S"…."mileage?" (・c_・;)？"Mileage?" E~h? But then I removed my stupid cap and it's "Smile age"…or "Smileage."…(^q^) Okay dumb moment over! 😛 And happily Ohta was able to visit an official Hello! Project store in order to acquire a few copies! ＾　＾

S/mileage debut indies release "aMa no Jaku" CD single

There are just some songs that can ＊brighten＊　and day with their genki energy and most alluring melody~. This is really a such a sweet debut single and Yay! for the Eggs in getting more chances to shine! ＼(^o^)／☆ I'm thinking that it has sort of a retro pop thing going for it and the four chosen ones…Wada Ayaka, Maeda Yuuka, Fukuda Kanon & Ogawa Saki sing so wonderfully on this single! No doubt that Yuukachan and Kanon have had their fair share of attentions thus far but I can totally see why UFI has chosen to further feature them outside of Shugo Chara Egg!

And to put it mildy………this songs chorus is pure ~♥~. ………(゜∀゜)………。

So far I've only watched this little pv preview clip with a bit of commentary from these most *adorable* Eggs. ＾　＾ As it's an indies release I'm really not sure if hoping for an official pv release will be answered or not but for now this will do =)…..
