Photographer Arai Tetsuya captures Sayumin with a light statement of adulthood all the while under his lense's soft veil "20sai 7 Gatsu 13 Nichi" appears as a tapestry through which a seamless movement from otona to seishun overlap from page to page~. The entire pb is shot under soft lighting giving the viewer a clear sense of warmth all the Sayu's smile radiates with an almost childlike sparkle…..an aspect which is even more defining when coupled with her dialog. The child inside the woman is a most endearing spark to Sayumin's characteristics….a post which she's held in both Momusu as well as H!P ever since her confidence emerged….and much like Kamei's development much of which captured fans hearts through her Elizabeth Kyamei character, Sayu's is also a well established personality dynamic, always present and always growing~.

Much like Sayumin's personality her wardrobe in this pb reflects everything from cutesy to elegant to frilly to stylishly sweet♥. Her kimono photos are gorgeous……her mizugi photos ~sexy~….but perhaps more than anything it's the very softness of her eyes and demeanor which will capture you the most as with Sayumin @20…..the little girl inside is never too far away endearing her past to the woman she's blossomed into~.

Finding ＊inspiration＊ through the sadness as Umeda Erika announces her graduation from C-ute~.

….I'm still a bit *fuzzy* as I awoke quite late this morning…um it's already 10:51 AM and I'm still wearing pajamas (。ーωー。). Strawberrie's message on my BlackBerry quickly got me out of bed though and what shocking news to awake to! (・д・`*) I'm guessing that this may have been announced only recently as when I went to bed earlier this morning I didn't hear of any buzz of this announcement having been made but then again I can be sort of in my own little world here at times where much can be missed~. XD

I found myself searching through H!P binders looking for what is my very first C-ute photo set which I acquired sadly after Megumi had already left….although I know that I do have a Megumichan photo so perhaps this isn't my very first C-ute set after all? (・c_・;)？

And just seeing how far C-ute has come and so quickly seems to reflect in gazing at these photos now….wow they were so little ne~! ＾　＾

Only just a few weeks ago Kannachan suddenly

announced her leaving Hello! Project and this is still I imagine quite a fresh wound for other fans as well.

So much is different here though as nothing being said officially has any undertones of shadyness or that more is going on than is being stated. Really nothing negative to reel from as unlike with so many other members' departures from H!P, Ume's is much like Fukuda Asuka and Konkon's where outside ambitions♥ have struck a chord with her and while leaving this idol world there is so much more in plans and in her ~heart~ to experience and explore~. And rather than having UFI decide when it's time to leave this is purely on Ume's own terms and of her own choice. =)

Ume's ambition of becoming a fashion model only seems most fitting too….her beauty…her height….and her maturity all factor in perfectly with this wonderful career choice and this is being done so right as the early announcement will allow fans to celebrate Ume during C-ute's Japan concert tour which leads directly up to her graduation date on October 25th…the final stop on their current concert tour~. a sea of white greet her with fans showing their support and love during her final concerts with Momusu….the very same adoration will without doubt be rained upon Ume on this tour~.

It's sad whenever any member leaves a group…for the members…for the fans and with this C-ute's group dynamic will once again change going from what was once 8 – to – 7 – to – 6 and now – to – a lineup of just 5~. It's much too early perhaps to speculate but it'll be interesting to see if Tsunku makes a move regarding the addition of a new member(s). But unlike Momusu who's very identity has completely changed over the years in gradual but inevitable increments, both Berryz Koubou and C-ute have been the "stable" groups in terms of permanent members with no revolving door to see them off with new members being let in through auditions or appointment. But with their number at 5 now it is conceivable that Tsunku may make a planned move to add  a new member or members to C-ute…..and as Momusu began with 5 members it didn't take long at all for him to recreate and expand their image and numbers.

And while C-ute is clearly set upon Maimichan & Airiin being in the spotlight, still the dynamic of 5 members could quickly change all of this or perhaps change nothing at all. For much of their single releases in particular C-ute has been comprised of two lead vocalists coupled with 6 – 5 – and – 4 – backup vocalists/dancers through their decline in member numbers but the number 5 clearly gives UFI producers and Tsunku a means to break the trend if they so see fit to do so which would ultimately entail more equality within the group diminishing the aura of backup vocalists which they now bear so clearly~. Unlike the past much of girl groups in Japan today have gone with more is beneficial in group member numbers but when you see/hear earlier female idol groups like CoCo and Ribbon…..all members were such equals and in this sense more likely to translate into fan equality as well amongst them. Surely there'll always be fan favorites in any group dynamic but with more equality beginning with the group members themselves (with vocal lines and choreography for example)……this really lends itself naturally to a much more balanced fanbase in

terms of individual members as each will be as visible as the her next fellow member which can be a much more healthy environment emotionally for the girls I think~. ＾　＾

Let's celebrate Ume in C-ute, and maybe just maybe we'll hear a coupling with song written just for her graduation on an upcoming single release~. And to Ume, I *wish* for all your dreams and endeavors to meet with wonderful success. And although seemingly unrelated all of those vocal, dance and acting lessons that went along with idol grooming have surely helped prepare you for this next endeavor in life along with the learned professionalism which surely accompanies any successful career lived in the spotlight much like your career in fashion modeling that you've chosen. I will miss you so much in H!P & C-ute but I'll *smile* always just knowing that you're happily pursuing your dreams~. ♥

A~hhhh I haven’t fallen off the edge of the earth in case you’re wondering! (。ーωー。)

It’s just been a busy week and I know that I haven’t posted here for so long. (;´□｀) Work and a few family get togethers have kept me from the internet recently but I should be online more regularly soon as things are calming down more and more. Whew! the family gatherings were a bit bunched together and it seems that I’m always the end of some punchlines when it comes to my……um well inability to have a stable and lasting relationship it seems… σ(゜□゜;)! I’m like the only cousin left to get married (well….from those old enough 😛 ) and then there’s the concern of grandchildren and my lack of helping with that!…(u_u*) I’m really the ugly duckling here! (/∇＼*)！

Most of my aunts and uncles are more *forgiving*…………lol while some are in some ways quite….how should I say this……..blunt?” XD Case in point…I was once again asked, and I quote…..”are you okay?♥ is there something wrong with you?”…….

….ぇええ〜ッΣ(゜ロ゜;ノ)ノ！？

But I know that they mean *well* and are just showing concern o(*´∀｀)o゛♥.

And lol! this is usually said while while being patted on the head……not so much a very shining moment of mine but I totally deserve this and understand…(^q^)

Taking a *bite* out of life~ (￣◇￣*)

Everytime we’re at the beach at least one friend will say that I’m wayyyy too thin!!!! (・_・)? Guys usually don’t have any comments so you never know what they’re thinking most of the time….why is that?

Hmmm….just another nonsense post here..gomen ne but I have a really much shortened weekend it seems as I just learned that I will indeed need to work an extra day this week which means losing one of my weekend♥ days off so I was just thinking that since I may not be able to post anything new over this weekend that I should just write something really random here (。ーωー。) ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪~. That really doesn’t make any sense I know…..just my train of thought at the moment which can often be about nonsense or so I’m told….mostly by old bfs~. (/∇＼*)！

LOL it must seem that I’m always eating ne~…(^q^)! My friends say that I’m most finicky when it comes to food but I feel that my tastes are completely normal. (￣▽￣) Let’s see……no cakes, pastries, definitely no doughnuts!! (゜Д゜;)!!….yes to salmon♥, chicken, actually most fish (no partially poisonous ones please no matter how well trained the chef is!! XD)….turkey’s okay =)…..oatmeal♥…tofu♥…all soba♥…nishime♥….narazuke♥…potatoes…most vegetables really…..but no bitter melon (I mean just the name say so much! 😛 )…..♥ mushrooms…♥spinach (fresh is best in a salad!)…♥brocolli….♥tomatoes…♥onions….♥asparagus…♥cucumbers!….♥romaine….♥cauliflower….♥carrots….♥peas.

And on and on…XD

♥most fruits too!…..is avocado a fruit or a vegetable because it’s one of the few that I really really don’t like…add coconut to that! Along with natto! Icky!! (*≧∀≦)☆★ ↓ lol okay that’s neither a fruit or vegetable! XD

Have you guessed what’s in the burger? It’s veggies! ＼(^o^)／ Although I tried putting dressing in it and it became a bit soggy…(._.;) I’m not much of a meat eater really….and the only time we ever have beef here is when my brother comes to visit…..he and my father ♥ beef!!!! (・_・) And the only time I ever purchase it is for his birthday♥. I’ve also just given up soda completely….ever since I became ill a few weeks ago I stopped drinking soda and I just never started back up since……I was wondering if I would truly *feel* differently…..hmmmm….still waiting…….no change in sight. =) But mom purchased Fresca today and it now fills out top shelf in the refrigerator!…..what’s one to do? (・д・`*)!

Hello! Project's latest all cover song~ release puts a modern spin on some very notable songs from Japan's yesteryear~….and just about everyone's invited for this one as all of Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, C-ute, soloist Manoeri & 7 Eggs make the musical♪♪ journey in songs ranging from folk to rock to enka. The theme of marriage is abound in all tracks with some more directly than others all the while keeping to the emotions of ♥.

First press editions include a randomly inserted photo card out of a variety of 5 and while the CD I received has Momusu's card I do imagine that the other four would be groupings of members as introduced in the booklet…Berryz Koubou..C-ute..Manoeri..and H!P Eggs~.

01 DIAMONDS

HIGH KING

The very first song that caught my undivided attention when the album arrives was the very first track!! E~h!!!! "DIAMONDS?"!!!! Could it be that H!P has finally aspired to put their own touches upon one of the most beloved J-Pop songs of all time by the most prominent all female band of all time that Japan has produced?!!! I quickly checked the liner notes to see whom the songwriters were and there it was…..lyrics by Nakayama Kanako and music by Okui Kaori!" So it was Princess Princess that H!P was now doing a cover song by and without another moment to pass I had the CD playing………….of course with such a beloved composition also comes the inevitable moment of over scrutiny….me being most guilty whenever hearing a cover song of anything *precious*. (・д・`*) But quickly jumping back to calm contemplation I must remember that cover songs are a way of other artists interpreting them, often adding or changing their form artistically…..thus, I really shouldn't be comparing the original to the cover too critically although sometimes I wish they would sound much more similar!….a most silly notion I know..(._.;)!

With that being said……XD….HIGH KING's version is a bit too electronic and I miss the sound of Kanako's rockin' guitar riffs so much! (。ーωー。)

HIGH KING is comprised of Yajima Maimi, Shimizu Saki, Maeda Yuuka, Tanaka Reina & Takahashi Ai~.

And the sudden appearance of this most loved song would explain why I finally jumped at the chance to write a Princess Princess post as there is such a linking here to speak of. Easily one of the *cutest* tracks on the album performed by C-ute & Manoeri!! And while I'm not familiar with the original I do sooooo adore idol Ichikawa Yui's version as well!!!! More Ichikawa Yui *cuteness* with some really catchy J-Pop songs can be found in this post from awhile back and here I'll add her most wonderful version of "Ai wa katsu" in the form of her music video….her vocals are so ………(゜∀゜)………。!!!

The all new PucchimoniV with members Mano Erina, Hagiwara Mai & Nakajima Saki tackle a composition by one of J-Pop's greatest singers/composers…..that being the incomparable Ishii Tatsuya of Kome Kome Club!!! This vocal lineup does quite impressively especially when considering the amazing man behind the original vocals…..and I especially find little Maimai leading the vocal charge here as she's really singing strongly as this song so demands! Nakki sounds powerful here too and Manoeri matches perfectly in this trio~.

But to truly appreciate this anthem that is still one of them best selling songs in Japan's musical history one must also hear the original I think…in all its *glory*! Also more on Kome Kome club can be found here in this post from a short while back plus many more great songs to listen to~. ＾　＾

The first solo effort comes with Tanaka Reina's rendition of "Heya to Y Shatsu to watashi." And just as Reinachan *shined* so much with "Kira kira fuyu no shiny G", she gives such a great vocal effort here too in this lullaby of a composition~.

And really what would a H!P album at this stage be without the inclusion of their beloved duo GAKIKAME?! J-Pop legend Matsutoya Yumi provides the composition here with "Mamotte agetai" ("I will protect you") Sweet mid tempo melodies abound and although Gakisan's the stronger vocalist between the pair you really don't get that impression here as kamei really holds her own beautifully and with such strength~.

08 秋桜

Takahashi Ai

Veteran writer/performer Sada Masashi lends an enka flavored composition in "Kosumosu" for Aichan to tackle and she does so with amazing vocal control where she moves between vulnerable to powerful with emotional nuances in her vocal tones~. This you'd really expect from Aichan who has proved time and time again of the depth and strenght in her vocal ability which has also proven to translate well to stage and perhaps to a solo career. Makes me want to listen to "Yume kara samete"………….

ZYX-a

ZYX-a is comprised of Niigaki Risa, Kusumi Koharu, Wada Ayaka, Tsugunaga Momoko, Ogawa Saki, Sudo Maasa, Tokunaga Chinami & Umeda Erika and they perform "Mirai yosouzu II" utilizing a sweet ensemble vocal arrangement which is very "choir" like given the composition which features just a light orchestration backing~.

It's quite a spin and change from the original ZYX but nonetheless a most adorable new unit! =)

Zoku Biyuuden

Biyuuden gets a "sequel" title with Zoku Biyuuden added and the newly formed unit now consists of Michishige Sayumi, Sugaya Risako & Junjun~. Sayu is the perfect member to take on the role left vacant by the most *adorable* Rikachan and this is really one of the most interesting choices put forth by Tsunku on this album of recreations and reuniions~. "ONLY YOU" provides a most fun and upbeat melody which really suits the personality of members' so perfectly here and vocal wise it's pure fun intensity to be heard~! =)

Now this is a very very well know classic in Matsuda Seiko's "Akai Sweet Pea" and in trying to recreate one of your very best of units ever….Tsunku, please choose wisely! Matsuda Seiko was truly one of Japan's first breakthrough female vocalists in a solo career….by her peers and artists that have come afterward so much inspiration can be seen/heard stemming from one of the longest and most successful careers in J-Pop~. While the two previous incarnations of Tanpopo without question produced some of Tsunku's most diverse works over the years this newly chosen lineup of Okai Chisato, Kumai Yurina, Mitsui Aika & Kamei Eri is well fit to handle more of Tsunku's most creative and inspired compositions if he so chooses to further their existence beyond this album~. I love how Tsunku added the "#" symbol~!…..it make me smile (￣▽￣) Furthermore this new unit has some of the most distinctly different sounding vocals and on paper I just wouldn't be able to imagine how they would work together but they do so perfectly~! XD

12 for you…

Linlin

The album's third and final solo comes courtesy of the most talented Linlin!! "for you…" provides a wonderful vehicle and palate for any artist I think and Linlin makes the most of the vocal arrangement~. Compared to some of the other tracks here Linlin, given a much more vocally textured song filled with moving emotions delivers arguably the best overall vocal performance on the album. Her vocals hold so much emotions with the level of vibrato and control you'd expect from perhaps artists like Ayaya…Mikitty…..& Gocchin~. This track is pure ~♥~.

Berryz Koubou & Manoeri

Manoeri in addition to C-ute is also matched up with Berryz Koubou for the album's 13th track. Sada Masashi's 2nd composition chosen for this album and with "Kanpaku sengen" this song is much more in the vein of an American styled folk song verses the Japanese folk style of his previously chosen track "Kosumosu." A wonderfully distinctly different approach to "folk" music can thus be heard when listening to these two tracks back to back~. The vocals here are a bit amusing during the verses with that jerky sort of abrupt phrasing while the chorus portions flow like cool whip on Jell-o~ (￣▽￣)♥ in an ensemble arrangement. Overall more oa an unusual song for me personally but I do love it so!! =)

H!P's marriage themed album ends with a slice of Momusu in its final track and "Sekai wa futari no tame ni" glistens like a light hearted R&B seranade~. o(*´∀｀)o゛♥ And just an inckling but something tells me that Mittsi and Junjun raided Kohachan's mini refrigerator just prior to recording as Kohachan's vocals are so so tame here….but really she is very capable♥ ne~….think "Koi Hanabi." ＾　＾

(*´∀｀*) )………….but first into the player and filling the room right now ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪~….

…….is a single that I had marked my calendar waiting for it to arrive! Hirano Aya's new single "Super Driver" (released on July 22nd!) which is featured as the new opening theme for the second series of "Suzumiya Haruhi no yuutsu." Σ(￣◇￣*)！！！More on Hirano Aya can be found here. And while the new anime series may be awhile before arriving here in the U.S. I'm already in ♥ with its theme song………now if only I can find enough time to spend with these I'll be able to post them here soon~. ＾　＾♥

Just heard this from Tautterkle!! And the long wait and prayers for an official store overseas here in the U.S. has finally been answered!! Next to H!P reopening their official store in Waikiki here in Hawaii…this is definitely the next best thing! This is real isn't it??? (・c_・;)？I do really *hope* so! If this is indeed not a most cruel joke (;´□｀) it appears that in affiliation with Japan Files the soon to be opened HelloStoreUSA promises the sales of shirts, towels, books & photo sets and just think how much we'll be able to save on shipping charges! (￣▽￣)♥ And if UFI really wants to expand their merchandise availability more globally just imagine how much other special goodies that they could offer at this online site……bags, mugs, glasses, cell phone straps, wall tapestries, keychains and if UFI is really ambitious they could even offer special edition DVDs as in alternate FC releases to Japan's FC's versions as to keep them both still unique from one another~. *Dreaming~dreaming~*…..I know (゜∀゜)….ne~ but this is really an exciting start and my imagination is just expanding upon it a bit XD, that is if it's true to begin with! ＾　＾  

I wonder if they'll produce goods especially and exclusive made for the U.S. as well…….just imagining and *hoping* for so many wonderful things right now. This is really exciting news ne~! VAMPS to perform in Hawaii on September 13th!

Their performance is set for September 13th and will be held at the Battleship Missouri which I just heard was heading to dry dock? for maintenance. If I drive for just a few minutes I can see the Battleship Missouri in the distance… Their 10 day U.S. tour just began a few days ago in New York on July 11th and we look to be their final stop on their American tour before they return to Japan~.

HYDE is just amazing!!!…and although I haven't been following VAMPS releases I do love L'arc~en~ciel! I'm not sure what time the show is scheduled for but it is on a work night and I can't take off (;´□｀)! Dou shiyou?!

Haruhi & Mikuru

When it comes to collecting figures I can become sort of obsessed at times when either a game or anime series really *moves* me and while the standard figures are nice what I really ♥ are the pvc statue style figures~. And it's amazing how much detail goes into pvc figures by their scupltures!! While Mikuruchan arrived a few days ago Haruhi was a bit late arriving but she was soooo worth it~! Even her guitars strings are actual individual strings and I just thought her "Gekisou" version matched Mikuruchan's "gothic punk" look quite well although they are of slightly different scale sizes. (。ーωー。)

Both are beautifully crafted with even the tiniest of details being paid attention to with separate clothing layers down to Mikuruchan's chains being "real." A~h and they do have a bit of miniature company surrounding them from Momusu figures to FFVII's Sepiroth who was a bit camera *shy* tonight…(^q^) If you're a fan of the "Melancholy of Haruhi" Series both are highly recommended! ＾　＾…although I know most wouldn't take them out of their packages as I always must do! (￣▽￣) ＊Kawaii ne~＊！
