Tsugunaga Momoko vs. Tokunaga Chinami shashinshuu battle…

It’s always fun to compare shashinshuu and here we have two most *adorable* releases in Momo’s already 4th release along with Chiichan’s very first solo shashinshuu~! Both locales are absolutely gorgeous!! with Momo here in Hawaii~♥ (shhh I may be a little bit biased of Hawaii♥ as i live here~ (。ーωー。)…) and Chiichan on location in the very warm and scenic Okinawa~♥! (shhh I may be a little bit biased of Okinawa♥ as I’m part Okinawan~ (。ーωー。)…) Ugh! I wrote that backwards (;_;)!…..that should have read….with Momo on location in the very warm and scenic Okinawa~♥ (shhh I may be a little bit biased of Okinawa♥ as I’m part Okinawan~ (。ーωー。)…) and Chiichan here in Hawaii~♥ (shhh I may be a little bit biased of Hawaii♥ as I live here~ (。ーωー。)…). 

So being that I’m really on a middle ground in trying to decide which I *adore* more…….I’m asking for minna’s♥ help~*!  o(*´∀｀)o゛.

Both shashinshuu are so so so so so so so *cute* and well photographed!, I *adore* both Berryz Koubou members so much too~!….and it’s really wonderful to see Chiichan getting her very first solo pb!…may the Captain♥ be the very next~! Momo’s has a bit more *spice* and I think you’ll know what I mean after viewing a few of her scans….and in particular those shot along with a classic mic stand~. Chiichan *shines* so much in her very first release and there’s really a silver lining in UFI waiting a bit longer for this first effort of hers as her confidence really shows in her pb….something that I’m sure takes time to develop…even for an idol who’s been in front of the spotlight for quite a long time~. =) Also I soooo so so love seeing Chiichan in very familiar areas on the island♥ here….and those shots of her surfboarding in front of the very iconic Diamond Head♥ are pure ~♥~! o(*´∀｀)o゛!

Buono!’s “Take It Easy!”

Buono! in "Take It Easy!"…

Buono! "Take It Easy!" LE CD & pv DVD single releases~

I think I may used up just about all accolades that I can think of when it comes to lively and perfectly *polished* musical♪♪~ arena that is Buono's~.

Their level of music quality never wavers and with their now 8th single I think it's fair to say that Buono! has now firmly cemented their place as one of J-Pop's best groups….factor in the personality dynamics and unique vocal aspects of Momo, Airiin & Miya…..Buono! is just *perfection*~.

The LE CD release includes both a photo trading card as well as an additional DVD which contains a little approximately 11 minute clip of their "jacket making"….and much like how backstage features are on concert DVDs, there's so much of the member's personalities revealed in watching these featurettes~.

Buono!'s pv DVD single which was released just a week after their single includes three versions of "Take It Easy"'s pv with an original version, close up version as well as an always great to watch dance shot version. In addition the DVD concludes with an approximately 10 minute long feature of the pv's making~.

01 Ｔａｋｅ　Ｉｔ　Ｅａｓｙ！（テレビ東京系アニメ「しゅごキャラ！！

Tsunku makes a special writing appearance with the title track "Take It Easy!" as he composed the music♪♪~ and his musical influences and tastes are readily heard from the moment you click play~…..as you're immediately engulfed in a sea of well polished folk-rock complete with the ever present chimes of George Harrison like slide guitars which really gives this song a distinctly 60's feeling~. All three member's vocals are as smooth as *silk* here and whether it be ensemble or solo lines the vocal arrangement is really mesmerizing o(*´∀｀)o゛♥ here~. The coupling with track "Kirai Suki Daikirai" is much punchier arrangment and somewhat more in the vein of most Buono! releases in its aggressive rock arrangement…which well…sort of reminds me of that I think 80's song?….."My Sharona?" And if anyone knows…what exactly is a "sharona?" (・c_・;)？….one of life's great mysteries?

Pony Canyon much like Avex provides their artists with such wonderfully generous production budgets and it's most evident in their pvs included on their pv DVD single~. Everything is shot on location and happily outside of a studio's confines…..from a bus ride…..to a neighborhood's urban jungle and onto outdoor close up filming just everything about "Take It Easy!"'s pv production is most lively and all without the constraints of studio walls~. I imagine that just about everyone on earth by now has viewed all version of this pv……so here I'll just include the most *wonderful* original version~. =)

An *emoticon* brought to life?

わはははは♪

A *friend* here on VOX recently asked me if I could explain this emoticon…(。ーωー。) and if I could actually recreate it in real life with an expression~…..

Hmmm….so the emotion that I usually use this “(。ーωー。)” emoticon for is for those *moments* where you find yourself being nonchalantly silly about something or for when you…..just imagine that often seen cartoon character slowly sidestepping away and whistling♪♪~ just after doing something embarrassing, clumsy or just really wacky~…(。ーωー。)! …all the while perhaps trying not to be noticed although the character so knows that everyone sees what they’ve done or what has happened~. XD I guess that’s sort of this “(。ーωー。)” emoticon’s meaning for me for whenever I tend to use it……umm I hope that makes a little sense~. ＾　＾
However as far as emulating this emoticon in real life…..it’s really funny that it’s something that I’m having some difficulty with as I haven’t been able to quite get the right *feeling* of expression for this emoticon no matter how many times I’ve tried…..

….and tried…(._.;)!

Um….so for now, this will have to do (￣▽￣).

~The final four…for Arashi’s “5×10 ALL the BEST! 1999-2009″ LE CD giveaway~!

This past Saturday night~ brought the exciting results on the track as well as off of it as the final four entries which will lead to a single winner of Arashi's best of album was decided! So many driver choiced overlapped here with all eleven entries so this final result was sure to be extremely close!!!

There was a little mixup with one entry from aiLaMarie and I'm so sorry as I should have reviewed more thoroughly…but there turned out to be two drivers in your picks which were chosen twice…..in Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin. Again I apologize so much for not reviewing more completely as I hadn't noticed you had two drivers chosen twice in your entry. I'm so sorry. =(

And without further delay……here are the final results from the race at RIR!…….

ガーディアンズ4 “School Days♥”

Guardians4♥ in "School Days"…

Guardians4 "School Days" LE first pressing CD single w/ photo trading card

I really love how thus far both Guardians4 releases have also included a Shugo Chara Egg! version as well for their main title tracks~. Here we're treated to two versions of the new single "School Days" as the second track is dedicated to the very capable Egg unit comprised of Yuuka, Ayaka, Akari & Kanon and Pony Canyon really does a wonderful service to fans by continuing to color code their H!P releases' lyrics in their liner notes indicating which members are performing which solo lines~.

The LE includes a bonus DVD containing approximately 9 minutes of a behind the scenes look at the jacket filming….and as their accompanying pv DVD single won't be released until the 16th of this month this cute little clip is enough to tide me over till then~. =)

The first pressing also includes a Guardians4 trading card althought I'm not really sure if there are other versions out there in addition to the card I received as the first pressing sticker doesn't indicate if there are a variety of versions available….in most cases though H!P releases do tend to have multiple trading card versions so I imagine that there surely must be others. ＾　＾

01 Ｓｃｈｏｏｌ　Ｄａｙｓ（テレビ東京系アニメ「しゅごキャラ！！どき

Guardians4

"School Days" has a most bouncy and *drummy* anthem like arrangement…and surely with the continuing "Shugo Chara!" animation tie in one would expect such a cheery and upbeat song♪♪~ for sure~. It's quite fun hearing both Guardians4 and the Eggs put their different spin of *cuteness* on this most catchy track! (*´∀｀*) Hmm…in some ways though the coupling with song "Itsuka dokoka de" may be even a bit more enchanting than the title track and if listen closely there's really a fantasy like aura to the instrumentation with an almost baroque flavor to it with a harpsichord indeed in the pop arrangement coupled with a most sweeping orchestration that's full of optimism~. I've always really loved the sounds of a harpsichord as while it looks very much a piano on the outside, its strings are actually plucked rather than struck as piano strings are made to do in producing both of their very unique musical♪♪~ sounds~.
