~The all in one format continues to be pure ~♥~ as like with the releases of AKB48, SKE48 also has taken to releasing their singles to include also their pvs♥ in a single casing…both a space and $ saver for sure ＾ ＾。
I'm beginning to sound so much like a broken record here….but AkiP's bringing back that distinct 80's styling to his song creations and that coupling with nostalgic~like choreography from the very same era in music has created such a resurgence and with old becoming new~* once again I wonder if the wota's are also spanning in a relative resurgence in becoming fans of both AkiP's successful projects~*.
Gosh!!! the music for both songs in what is just SKE48's second single are a pure fire~ball of dazzling full blown productions and catch~iness♥! While the a~sides are always kept for "senbatsu" to headline the music video for "Aozora kataomoi" takes place in a most breathtaking view atop a high~rise which is both stylish and way way tall!!! And kira~*kira* comes to mind with both pvs♥ as its coupling effort in "Banji sengen" mixes both a daring pastime which I'm never taking part in ever!!!!..too afraid of heights (・д・`*)！！！。。and the dynamic of well having everyone present? Gosh it looks like everyone and the results are so awe inspiring as well~*! In truth the 80's retro feel is most dominant in the b~side song "Banji sengen" in both its writing and dance choreography…..and you could watch classic live clips from the likes of CoCo, Qlair, Seiko Matsuda and Ribbon to name just a few and see direct parallels in specific dances which are occurring in AkiP's productions today~. It's genius to breath new life into that golden age in J~Pop music, successfully bringing it back along with the new and nuances of now.
Oh and their song "Te wo tsunaginagara" still continues to be my most favorite♥ of SKE48 love o(*´∀｀)o゛♥。

But what I really wanted to focus on today was specifically the "senbatsu" (literally "selection") which occurs for each a~side release in both SKE and AKB families of idols♥. And here AkiP's idea of utilizing senbatsu for his headlining productions is such a unique aspect in all of music and for idol groups in particular. Above I imagine it's the unenviable task of delivering such news as so much of the pressures and emotions are seen first hand in the included extra clip with this single~*.
What I believe is a direct result though of the "senbatsu" is keeping with the highest~* of idol~articulation amongst all aspiring members whom strive so much to achieve "senbatsu" amongst their fellow members. The "senbatsu" and "Team B.L.T." "happyou" ("announcement") both occur consecutively here and it's very much unlike any celebratory event as seen on the girls faces as I imagine those chosen can't feel an openness to express their happiness~* @ this junction just yet with their fellow members in mind.
You could almost literally cut the tension and anticipation with a knife in the room and after the announcements are complete as they were done in an almost "militant" fashion the joy of those chosen as well as hope~* for those members not yet making "senbatsu" become clear in both body language and comments made individually by all "senbatsu" girls and those included in Team B.L.T. (in collaboration with "Beautiful Lady Television/ B.L.T." =) ) The revelations are all simillar revealing the immense pressures and so much of the uncertainty leading up to this day~. Perhaps an un~enviable position for sure at times but just for the opportunity and keeping with the push for idols to perform and strive for excellence~* so much of this is the groundwork for AkiP's genius ＾ ＾＊。
