So I've been awaiting an e~mail from Couscous today~* so that the "Turn me on…" giveaway winner may be announced as planned…….and just a few minutes ago her message arrived =). However Couscous whom I thought had an iron clad will all these years (therefore entrusting her to make this most difficult decision)….seems to have withered in the summer heat like a stick of Wrigley's spearmint gum left on the dashboard of your car for at least two days (*≧∀≦)☆★ ↓
So without further delay, here are the songs♪♪ which turned on~* Couscous the most

Okay~* for the past couple of days I've been trying to sort through and edit out what can be well…..actually read without too much weirdness 😛 and well now while I'm not sure if I've done a decent job or not here is the girl talk which I often encounter..well when a particular someone is with me both the good and the bad!
So this past weekend was set, in which "Couscous" (friend's nickname which has too much of an embarrassing story behind it to tell (*´艸`)！！）and I sat down and listened to/watched all of the entries for the "turn me on giveaway" and while I'm familiar with some of the songs submitted surely in keeping with the theme~* of having someone inexperienced potentially being turned on♥ it would be Couscous whom would have the much more spontaneously fresh response to J~Pop as a whole as she's never listened to any before and nor does she speak any Japanese (except for bad words (ノロ≦。)！！！） so this makes for a most honest and well @ times mostly candidly amusing response~, sometimes non~sensible but don't tell her I said that (^q^)! So in collaborating here, we've officially become Morning♥Couscous….all girl power!! and somewhat "H~chy" ! times and of course I'm speaking of Couscous and not me for the latter (。ーωー。)。。。。♪♪
And to keep from this becoming oh so long and boring I've kept the running commentary for each track as brief as possible from recording it and keeping just a bit of it here through much editing and trying to figure out what was said which took a bit longer than expected so I apologize for the further delay, as the chatter between us can be endless and especially if we don't agree on something :P! And beforehand I would like to apologize to all the wonderful songs she was mean to (ノロ≦。)！！Original posting of entries can be read here =).
Mint's J~Pop choices:
AKB48- "RIVER" (played the audio track as sadly YouTube seems to have eaten the clip 😦 )
Morning (me): So it's your very first J~Pop song♥!
Couscous (friend): At first I thought they were shouting 'liver!'..it is catchy although the beginning was a bit much for me.
M: But the intro's one of the best parts.
C: It sounds like a lot of girls singing and they harmonize well.
M: AKB48 has a lot of members but only selected members perform on their title track singles and they're really awesome.
C: After awhile the chorus really grows on you too and parts of it sound a lot like American pop but especially in the chorus love that part the best!
Morning Musume Otomegumi- "Yuujou ~Kokoro ni Busu ni wa Naranee!~"
C: The girl singing at the start sounded a bit umm rough? I didn't think she was the best vocalist here so interesting they had her open the song. Love the punk rock sound and with cutesy visuals to go along it really works. I guess I just always envisioned Japanese pop to be much more Hello Kitty all the time so Otomegumi is really an eye opener.

Perfume's- "Electro World"
C: Electro Pop? Makes me think of night clubs and dancing! I think I like this song the best so far really would put me in a good mood even on bad days. The vocals are so "produced" but not overdone and the song instantly grabs me. Japanese fashion is interesting..like what they're wearing here.
M: This song's new to me too as I've never listened to Perfume before and aside from the techno of early Amurochan for the most part I don't tend to listen to that much electro~pop but of course this isn't techno at all…it's just that I sort of categorize them similarly. The main girl is really cute and so funny one of them is named "Nocchi" like with Nocchi of H!P or used to be in H!P.
C: I have no idea of what you're talking about and "Nocchi' sounds like a weird name.
M: It sounds better than "Couscous" I'm kidding!!! please don't hurt me!

THE Possible- "Family ~Tabidachi no Asa~"
C: Wow that girl second from the left looks so hapa! and they all sing really well. I can totally see why guys would go for something like this..it's like the pv is trying to seduce me in ways I didn't think……possible.
M: Oh dear that what so corny!
C: You were supposed to say it was quick.
M: ……
C: Again the hapa girl sings the best but everyone sounds great in this group! The song is really well written too really really sweet…they're like angels in all white. I never told you this but a someone in particular used to tell me that you listen to all of this cutesy music and yet they all can't sing very well….this song proves otherwise and I think this song really represents the theme of what you're trying to do here with turning someone on. Do you have this song?

Hoshino Kanako- "Regret"
C: Sounds like a rave song…energetic! It's catchy but it's just that after hearing The Possible it's difficult to like it as much although I do love this style of tempo.
M: It's from a dance game so knowing that approach…
C: Oh no I do love dance music so much I'm just saying that hapa girl's voice may stay with me for awhile.
J~pyon's J~pop choices:
Sharan Q- Jokyo Monogatari
C: The lead singer has very feminine eyebrows.
M: oh my god that's the first thing you're going to say?
C: Okay I really like his voice it has so much character in it and this is the first male J~Pop I'm hearing so it's a bit more of a shock…no surprise..no what am I saying.
M: You're weirder than I used to think.
C: Oh they're a real band and thank you you're such a sweetie to say as I know you like weirdness (￣▽￣) I like this song very much.
Zone- Shiroi Hana
C: Oh this one has subtitles..is it just this one girl singing?
M: No they're a band but she's the lead.
C: Knowing the lyrics they're very beautifully written and lots of emotion in this song. Oh okay now I see the band and I guess it's not just the guys who can impress with a band's effort they're really talented! What does "shiroi hana" mean?
M: White flower, although depending on how it's written it can also mean "nose" but here it's flower.
C: White flower, very beautiful song.
Berryz Koubou- Tsukiatteru no ni Kataamoi
C: This is the most Japanese~y video yet..with the screens it's really a great visual. That girl's voice is so high! Helium?
M: Momochan♥ I think that's everyone's first reaction she's arguably the most adorable in the group.
C: Well they're all really pretty and this song sounds sort of cartoony~ish I don't know how else to describe it. The dancing is great except for that wiggly leg thing they're doing there…sorry I think it's a bit odd.
M: This is so not cartoony it's cute~♥ J~pop! But I forgive you because you noticed Momo so you're not totally aloof!

Zard- Goodbye my Lonliness
M: This is their debut single the video is like a collage.
C: She has the best vocals so far I think. Even more so than the guy who shapes his eyebrows..
M: Ahh focus focus!
C: There's so much emotion and feeling in her voice..this sounds a lot better than some of the other music I listen to. It's so melodic with the piano notes and yet it sounds a bit like a rock song but mostly it's her voice here which is so moving. If she sang on American Idol I think she'd have a chance at winning.
M: That's so sweet but sadly she passed away I'll tell you more later.

C: This really sounds so much like American r&b but she has the most powerful voice here so far! It's interesting how so much English is included in titles or lyrics..
M: U~n! Hikki is really an amazing artist and performer and I did ask you to go with me remember?

M: Ehhh? I so did and you're now in denial mode..now you know you missed out on something so special?

C: Okay you're really hitting me with strong vocalists now…how do you pronounce her name?
M: A-mu-ro-na-mi-e" I really love this single it goes way back in her catalog…Japan was still releasing 3" singles back then♥.
C: She has such stage presence but that voice it's amazing. It's commanding and this is live..makes even a bigger impression compared to studio recordings where vocals can be enhanced sometimes. The dancing is fun too and there's a real joy in it.
M: Vocal nuances, control and power.
C: What's that on her arm?

C: Ohh another live clip! I'm beginning to like the rock and pop thing intermingled it really works so well and really when the vocalist is so capable.
M: Mochida Kaori♥ I really followed Every Little Thing from when the debuted but I find myself liking their earlier releases much more as I think they lost a lot when the keyboard player left as he wrote so much for them back then.

M: One day I'm making you watch this drama♥! This song so so so awesome and I think timeless as it sounds just as amazing now as it did when I first heard it….reminds me so much of Kimutaku.
C: The melody is so happy and upbeat and he has an interesting hair style I must say.

C: Love his voice I think he's sings in an almost English way in that he doesn't sound like he has that much of an accent really catchy song! So many la la la's though but I guess it's in the title so..

C: She's……..strange. But really cute it's just that she sings so unusually but it works okay and they have kind of a punky sound to them which I like. But she sounds so strange I can't get over it does she always sound this way?
M: More or less it's really her style of performance and JUDY AND MARY are really popular.
C: This song's growing on me. But she's so strange..

Zone- Egao Biyori
C: Now this is awesome an all girl group no I mean band you just don't expect to see this at all so sad that all girl bands seem so rare or at least with those that see success. Were they popular? They're great singing their own back up and they're real musicians.
M: U~n Zone was really big in Japan back then they're just one of those groups where I maybe had too much on my plate at the time so I sadly didn't get into them like I should have. This song's amazing they're all amazing.
C: All of those cutesy girls you listen to should learn to play instruments too I'd be that much more impressed.
M: I so agree but at this point I'd just settle for a live band backing them up in live shows as there's so much of an extra dynamic present with a live band being there and all of the added chemistry and interaction it can bring. There's Manoeri though.

M: Never mind XD. I should play some Princess Princess for you I think they're still the greatest all female band Japan has produced to date you may like them.

M: It's extra beautiful with its Okinawan tones you can hear the sanshin at times.

C: I think with the theme this really would be an easy transition into Japanese pop as it's so similar but with just Japanese words.

M: This is one of my more recent favorites you should hear this song performed live.
C: She sings with a lot of feeling and the song's sweet and poppy. The keyboards are enchanting sort of sparkly like much like the "Amuro" (mispronounces name XD) girl she sounds to have the best range. Really beautiful song.
Hamasaki Ayumi- Immature
C: Ah she has the same last name as you?
M: I sometimes pretend we're related XD.
C: Maybe not as much strength in her voice as the last girl but she sounds really good and the song has a nice energy to it. Japanese artists sure like their rock don't they as even with some of these more poppy songs there's a rock sound to them matches well though. Ah that was an abrupt ending.
M: One day I'll let you hear how Ayu speaks…she just sounds so different then and you'd most likely not imagine a voice like that coming from her =).
Rebear's J~Pop choices:
Morning Musume.- Morning Musume no Hyokkori Hyoutan-jima (link)
C: What cute animation oh wait why are they all dressed as guys? This song..
M: It's just part of the pv's charm.
C: It sounds sort of like a play song or stage song like from a broadway show or something..but more like a comedy and there are so many of them. It's quite an odd song.
M: Morning Musume really can't be summed up in any one song or even with just a few really..this also isn't representative of their works just a single venture they did more for a fun touch. They're catalog of songs is large and I'm thinking a song like "Koe" or "Memory seishun no hikari" would attract you a bit more.

M: Okay old school but Puri Puri is timeless I mean you like Zone but Puri Puri is the greatest all female band ever in Japan…I think they helped to pave the way for great bands like Zone later and for any girl wanting to be successful writing and performing her own music.

M: It really only captures a tiny snippit of what Puri Puri was all about you need to hear and see so much more like with their Platinum Days DVDs to really understand how much a part you know of the landscape they were for Japanese music and not just rock they covered it all in their careers.

C: She sounds American?
M: U~n Angela Aki is a hapa girl and totally fluent in Japanese culture..she also performed a theme for Final Fantasy I'm sure I've played it for you if you remember?
C: Sorry no but it's really different hearing someone English speaking sing in Japanese..
M: U~n she's totally fluent but I'm not sure if you'd look at it quite that way..
C: I love piano solos with just vocals this song is……relaxing. Like it

C: It's dramatic especially like the orchestration the violins it's an uneasy emotion.
M: Sounds really most dramatic almost frantic in its tempo..first time I'm hearing Sakamoto Maaya.

C: The rap in betweens are catchy….it's like r&b? with an added…..rap. I like the sound here with the smooth sound of their vocals I never knew that guys rapped like this in Japan it's….
M: Are you shocked?
C: a bit…but it's somehow really cool and even though I don't know what they're saying I like the rhythm of their..voices. It's more like the rap guy is more important than the girl singing is that right?
M: It's a collaboration so I think it was intended to be much more equal.
Matsuura Aya- Zutto suki de ii desu ka
C: Elegant voice..and really pretty too oh this video, it's so creative with the images the transition(s) how it goes from one scene to another with a bit of trickery.
M: They call her Ayaya really one of the very best idol vocalists ever…I do love her cutesy as you would call it songs too with "Momoiro katamoi" which I'm so going to make you listen to as it was my very first favorite song by her..got me to get her entire catalog at that point and "Egao" which is my overall favorite♥. She sings amazingly and especially when you hear her live as there's just no drop off from her studio versions….she' so much amazing.
C: Her voice is soothing and yet so strong at times..like it.

1st generation member Acchan spoke at times in a somewhat subdued tone and while her demeanor remained even keel I was really moved by her words speaking in an almost regretful manner using words such as failed and her need to do better and grow for the betterment of the group. I do find it surprising though that Acchan who’s been the face of AKB for so long now @ it’s very top as voted by fans can feel any part of failure….I mean during this time the ever growing success of AKB has been nothing short of meteoric~* so Acchan has done nothing but succeed in my eyes. Japanese culture however does teach the need for humbleness so much of this I account to the very culture itself and what would be deemed respectful in light of such happenings. On the other side of emotions Acchan also expressed her will to reach the top once again going forward and that this #2 ranking isn’t something she’s willing to become accustomed to, so there you have that fiery spirit~* that one would expect of their MVP and Acchan possesses nothing less of this heart to be supported by fans but also to be able to earn it through her actions~.
Yukorin’s speech was in a sense the dynamic opposite of Acchan’s. Her disbelief of being voted the top and so much humility to speak of that she possesses. She even begins by saying how AkiP hinted at her reaching a sort of roof perhaps making the top unreachable for her but with so much support from fans she also takes quite a different path in moving forward from this point and from what I understood she asks for not more support for herself but to have fans “follow” her and it’s said in the context of helping her to push AKB48, SKE48 and SDN48 even further into success making them the number one idol group in the country. So once again there’s a real selflessness about her character which I think is most endearing. Yukorin also goes on to mention her recognition of watching all of the pressure placed upon Acchan all this time and how she’s always supported her from the side and to finish I really loved how she also states what makes AKB so unique in all of idol groups. How they perform for fans with live shows daily and how AKB strives to be a group in which fans can get close to and “meet”, aspects which truly make them so unique and special~. Something tells me that the next senbatsu will be an even more fiercely voted affair and I’m just happy for Yukorin in that she was able to reach this new plateau from fans as a nagging part of me thinks that Acchan won’t be denied the next time around so for now I’ll cherish♥ this time the most.
The wota appear to be most passionate and even calculating at times with their voting so with Acchan and Yukorin being ever so close in votes by the Japanese fan~base and with third being substantially behind still, it begs the question of how internationally fans would have voted. So let’s say the wota votes have ended in a tie with your vote now becoming the deciding factor between Acchan or Yukorin becoming the top, so who’s Team have you got?
Hello~*, just a few scans…well actually 14 from the October 2009 issue of Friday. Hmm.."Friday"….actually it's a publication which I never imagined I own a copy of being that well you know all of those stalking type articles they did on Momusu members back then :(.
But alas~* there was a most great reason to separate the past from the present as I saw this back~issue on auctions a few days ago and yes! it's Yukorin….hm yep again XD! Such a cute cover though and it looks to have been released near to the time of her most recent shashinshuu so a few shots are very familiar inside.
Also, AKB48 event in New York, Acchan who recently visited Hawaii♥, Maririn (she's everywhere XD), the always adorable Yukirin who had the best selling AKB pb recently??..is this true that's so awesome!!, Miyazawa Sae who's more new to me, and check out the Tomomi's♥ page!….beautifully poetic ne~*, Miichan who looks really much younger here for some reason???, Satou Akari again not very familiar with her but she's most pretty here, Meetan….CK's fave♥ is looking most sultry here!!! and Erepyon always brings a smile~* to my face she's just so wonderfully adorable♥♥♥!! AKB's calendars were also being promoted too in this issue and I'm seeing these covers for the very first time now….except for Yukorin's of course!!..had to purchase hers (*≧▽≦)♪

Yukorin is so deserving though and while the mystery for me which was Acchan is beginning to make sense as she really is amazing with a wonderful personality and yes~! so talented too, I only dreamed that Yukorin would be able to be the center for a single and now it's here. In the videos links below you'll see Maririn had so much the reaction we've seen before (for me it's just a bit as I'm still a newbie here :P) and expected as she broke down completely….really endearing reaction to the fans as well =). But with Acchan I was so taken by her composure throughout and while at times you could sense a bit of shakiness peaking in she really kept herself together…….so much a contrast to her reaction/speech during the senbatsu for "Juunen zakura" which was nearly a year ago on July 8th of last year. Mayuyu♥ since ("10nen zakura") has dropped a single spot from 4th to now 5th but still so happy~* she got so many votes!!!! Tomochin♥ deservedly has gone from then 7th to now 4th while Takamina♥ has gone from 5th back then to now 6th :/. I really thought that Yukirin would be ranked so much higher as well as she's now at 8th in votes…still to be in the top 10 is a most happy~* thing. The noted above ranking movements though are of course since their most recent senbatsu rankings began with a process which I just became aware of….it's much more step oriented than I first thought so I'm going a bit further back with these thoughts.
O~h Yukorin♥. Her video clip says it all. I cried……it couldn't be helped as she was so emotional~* and sincere with her comments and what she must have been thinking and going through emotionally the moment Acchan was announced at 2nd (/∇＼*)！
On a separate but maybe relevant note XD..I now have my very first Idol♥World Cup football team! So funny to say football as here football is something quite different as soccer is much more commonly said =). I've actually played soccer a long long long time ago…..like when I was seven or eight I think??? I was really tiny (still tiny) and not very naturally gifted for the sport back then so I was always made to play all the way back by the goal although I was never the goalie but like her sidekick there to protect XD. And whenever there was a need for a side kick I was never even allowed to do it….again I was much too small and not powerful enough so had they let me the ball wouldn't have gone very far (*≧∀≦)☆★ ↓ So getting back to my Idol♥World Cup team! On this day (actually yesterday) the theme is cuteness♥♥♥ and I was so amazed that even though I got to team selections late, Yukorin was still available!! I have no idea of what I was doing but it was a no brainer that it had to be Yukorin and no one else as my Captain leading our team….lol maybe to a loss but with fellow idols Fukada Kyoko, Suenaga Haruka, Okada Yui & Hirano Aya at least we'll look most cute doing it っo(*´∀｀)o！
So then the next thought was what team name to choose??? U~n! again a no brainer…….you can see my "Morning Sickness" and all of the competing Idol♥World Cup Teams here @ C NO Evil Go Morning Sickness~*~~* えぃえぃ、ぉー(*￣Ｏ￣)ノ。。。。lol I probably won't do very well and only if it were against the boys because then Yukorin, Fukakyon, Yuichan, Harukachan and Ayachan could distract them quite easily I think….team uniforms would be short skirts and bikinis I think or maybe we'll dress as cheerleaders and see what happens (。ーωー。) ♪ ♪。。。。。

Yay~* seeing that Wani Books has pre~autographed shashinshuu releases~* is so amazing!!!!
And wow~*!! I just looooooove how she signs! I mean it's so unusually wonderful and creative…maybe a bit strange looking but just pure awesomeness!!!
Along with Korin's♥ pb a deluxe photo binder and lots of cards also arrived♥♥♥! Everything is still factory sealed too but as you know me, I'll be opening everything and placing all of her cards into sleeves very soon. I should also scan these ne~? Maybe in groups though I think? Korin's♥ card binder is sooooo adorable as she has that oh so adorable~* expression which must melt the boys hearts surely o(*´∀｀)o゛。。。。。。and to the right are a couple of shikishi but with these more often the signatures aren't real and just printed…but they're so popular and you see them everywhere on auctions every day new ones. I fell in love with these two and had to have them♥ even if the signatures aren't real =).
When thinking of acquiring any autographs be sure it reads ”直筆サイン” ("jikihitsu signed") which will mean it's in real handwriting and not printed so you know what you're getting ＾ ＾。
Okay it's a really old album title to be borrowing from but it so get's the very point across (*≧▽≦)♪
And that's 513,000 and counting in sales @ this point for AKB48's 18th single release~*!!!! I just read a couple of things that I just found sort of odd @ IW with someone suggesting that AKB aren't that popular in Japan. Or that AKB are a fad and won't last very much longer. (・д・`*)！。。and while I think the growing numbers speak volumes for themselves and that this is truly just beginning to approach the golden♥years of Momusu's height of popularity which was most awesome ＼(^o^)／☆！！！！、but why is anyone hating on something so wonderful for idol♥ pop music overall in Japan right now?
Another reasoning for the above reference to an old album was also in taking recognition of just how poignant it is in how AkiP is single handed~ly now creating such an amazing resurgence of an older style of 80's pop music♪♪～♥！Surely everyone knows of his direct connection to this golden era for music in Japan and in particular with the idol giant of the day in "Onyanko Club." AkiP has managed to fuse together that which was once old along with all that is new today~* and you can clearly hear it so much in just about all of his songs♪♪. When I first heard "Shonichi" and especially "Wimbledon e tsureteitte" the sound was so striking and deeply reminiscent of this age of J~Pop which I had thought had been just for my backtracking with music, for I think the exploration of older roots in anything you adore or love can truly uncover so many yet to be discovered treasures and with music in particular it can open so many more doors for your enjoyment~* and expand your listening library vastly =). Even @ 28 now （きゃぁーっっっ(/∇＼*)！。。I'm getting old!!!!) I love listening to much older artists many of whom had already been broken up long before I was even born with favorites♥ like Glenn Miller, The Doors, The Beatles, The Eagles, Steely Dan…just to name a few. And it can lend itself to your listening of today's music as well as surely the older roots of music will pop up in sometimes even subtle ways in the single and albums you purchase today giving you that……familiar 'wait a minute!' type of feeling.
And now getting back to AKB48 and how this relates, while admittedly the title track here is most gratuitous towards their male fan~base for sure what with the beach and bikinis, bikini car wash (lol who would have imagined?? XD!!), ice cream, pizza, a hitchhiking Mayuyu? :O, Miichan♥…..Yukirin♥ and that oh so ingenious implementation of a bit of Austin Powers in that opening where the presumption of nudity* is blocked out of view in very timely and amusing fashion….the funniest part of the video it just cracks me up (^q^)! and what else do boys like seeing us girls do? (*≧▽≦)♪ Still to even suggest that sales exceeding half a million are solely attributed to this aspect is both close minded and just now seeing the larger picture of it all. It's true that the advent of the internet itself with all of the downloading going on (´⌒｀。) has taken away a lot from potential music sales so naturally sales in general are down in every genre so to witness even in these difficult financial times such a sign triggered by these eye opening sales from an all girl idol♥group…surely says even that much more and should not be dismissed in such a manner in which some are taking :/. And why so much hate to begin with (´⌒｀。)。。。。。the girls of these different groups don't dislike each other and there's a mutual respect and adoration~♥ there ＾ ＾。 It isn't a boxing match, there are no winners or losers. Enjoy~* what you love and keep an open mind always♥.

Okay that didn't help at all did it (._.;)……it's just that in addition to the two main tracks beginning with the sunshine~* and "Chou Chou" ("Shu Shu") "scrunchy~♥ filled title track and it's intensely shot and dark and moody coupling with song "Nusumareta kuchibiru" where the undergirls get to shine~* so much!!…there's also included with the type A edition the track "Boku no yell" by the Theater Girls (all of the additional units are beginning to run my brain ragged lol :P!) which showcases outdoor soccer and what with the World Cup upon us it's so perfectly~* timed ne! and with the type B edition omg!!!! it's the best!!!!! as "Majisuka Rock n' Roll" gets a sequel song♥!!!!! I mean you need to get type B just for this extra song and of course with the generosity and fan~friendly idol♥enterprise which is AKB, you get music videos for all four songs all with full blown productions in their own right all included with both CD single releases with no separate pv DVD singles needed to purchase ＾ ＾＊。And with "Majio Teppen Blues" the accompanying music video is like a mini fast~forward recap movie in itself♥♥♥!!!! Oh and…..
..Korin♥ still looks pissed!!!! awesome, okay just hoping she's still this angry if there really is a sequel (*≧▽≦)♪～！！！And did you hear the interlude sung by Takamina♥?!!!! She absolutely rocked "Majijo Teppen Blues!!!!" Oh and also broke the tension~* =)! So she unwrapped the package, took one out and slipped it over her thumb. She cautioned me to make sure it was on tight and secure.
I apparently still looked confused. So, she looked all around the store to see if it were empty. It was empty. 'Just a minute,' she said, and walked to the door, and locked it…
Taking my hand, she led me into the back room, unbuttoned her blouse and removed it. She unhooked her bra and laid it aside.
'Do these excite you?' She asked.
Well, I was so dumb-struck that all I could do was nod my head.
She then said it was time to slip the condom on. As I was slipping it on, she dropped her skirt, removed her panties and lay down on a desk. 'Well, come on', she said, 'We don't have much time…'

Surely a lot of scrutiny would go into anyone naming whom they consider to be perhaps the greatest vocalist they’ve had the pleasure of listening to over years of being a music lover and most definitely it’s an absolutely subjective outcome for each individual’s taste. Not an easy task by any means but for me personally while there are so many seemingly countless accomplished vocalists from generations past till present one name keeps coming to mind each and every time I hear him sing♪♪…
Fukuyama Masaharu♥ has long been one of Japan’s most beloved~* icons and constant figures as both a most accomplished musician and actor~…..his talents reach even further though as he writes, produces and has also charmed~* in the likes of radio and stage~.
It’s funny how the very initial aesthetics are obvious when it comes to accessorizing as a single cute~♥ hair bow atop is a constant and a fashion statement must!! Mmm but when you really dig a bit “deeper”….Blossom and Takamina….Takamina and Blossom….Blossom and Takamina….Takamina and Blossom…..and soon you can’t tell the two apart or you just feel a bit zany like I do at times :P.
And what’s so different about “Kimi wa, boku no mono” is that it isn’t shot in your typical “idol” way and what I mean by that is that it’s not chaptered into camera seducing♥ segments but rather “Kimi, wa boku no mono” is presented very much like a documentary instead and it’s very warm and candidly~revealing of how production goes on a day~to~day basis~....
While I think most everyone has either seen or worn seifuku♥ wouldn’t it be cute and sexy* to be able to witness the variations in style and the dressing and undressing of a most adorable idol~♥ as if you were her mirror on the wall~? Um…for educational purposes only of course :P!
~Every scene..a single brush stroke upon the canvas. Films to savor, for film making of this beauty and depth and scale don’t grace us very often..and the fates truly lie in ways of the wind. I couldn’t recommend two films any more than the John Woo directed epics “Red Clliff” and “Red Cliff II” and if grading on a ☆ scale these films receive 10 out of 10☆’ｓ。
Every now and then we’re graced with something so unique and special in music♪♪～, artists that move us with their melodies…relate to us with their lyrics and capture us with their hearts~. Sakai Izumi debuted as the lead vocalist for the group Zard in 1991 and for over a decade and a half her powerful vocals would resonate beautifully over 45 single releases and 20 albums (including compilations & tributes)…..she’s truly an artist that has left us too soon~...
Now @ 28 Fukada Kyoko has reached iconic heights as an idol who’s captivated and entertained in the vast opportunistic world of Japanese media where it’s most common for a talent to explore everything from modeling to television to movies and beyond~. Fukakyon♥ was born on November 2nd, 1982 and has remained with a single management agency (HORIPRO) since her early teens when she first began appearing regularly as either a cover~girl or featured girl in numerous idol magazine publications, then most notably with her early Bomb magazine appearances. Her acting career also began early in her mid teens and although Fukakyon is primarily known as a drama/t.v. actress having appeared in an impressive number of dramas which now total over 40 to date she also has a modest but noteworthy movie resume which includes standout performances first, in the dark realism of an idol’s world brought to screen in the 2002 film “Doll’s which mixes dark short stories and the 2004 cinematic~masterpiece “Shimotsuma Monogatari”...
In a musical era where AkiP has brought attention and overwhelming success back to purely~styled J~pop compositions and an approach as well as a product which resonates all that reflects upon Japan’s uniqueness…a purity which over the years has been blurred by outside influences of hip~hop…r&b…euro~pop..and Ameri~pop to name just a few~. Ichikawa Yui in hindsight may have been just a few years too early as she ventured from model/actress into music, too early for the old~school resurgence which is topping the Japanese music charts of today~ and in a lot of ways I think she’s been one of J~pop’s much more underappreciated artists of the millenium~.
Getting my very first taste of what could be Japan’s currently most aggressive all girl band! Four Osaka high school students with a garage~band aura? That was enough to pull me in and now after a little over one week of listening, “Temptation Box” is quickly becoming one of my favorite albums and where to begin?..there’s so much to say!
~Simply gorgeous♥, and it’s so much of what you’d envision of a production circled around one of Taiwan’s most popular, *sexiest* and successful models also turned actress and singer～ ＾ ＾。

While I so adore Mayuyu’s vocals and we’ve had plenty till now with her solo songs~♥, but the more I hear Rabutan’s voice the more she’s beginning to become my favorite vocal in the group =)……and while watching the making of she just sounded so anime~like saying “gyu♥!” each time, like the cutest cutest cutest character you can imagine っo(*´∀｀)o！！
Firstly, I wasn’t ever sure if I would see the day in which SPEED’s all time record sales for an all girl group would be broken and not by a slim margin by any means as AKB48 has eclipsed this record (reaching in excess of 826,000 copies sold) which has stood for I think…over a decade now?..and if there were any single which was worthy of such an achievement surely “Beginner” is deservingly so~. At the top of the Oricon this past week, AKB48 has also eclipsed omg!!! even Arashi’s~♥ used to be leading single’s sales plateau for the year for a single release :O and from the outside one may wonder why this single in particular?..and why now?
