Have you ever woken up to find your DVD drive has run away on its own? Please help!/Today’s arrivals
Well my adventures in pc~land continued on it's way towards bad today, just turned my laptop on only to find that somehow my DVD drive is missing (ノロ≦。)！。。。it just says upon booting up that AnyDVD cannot locate a DVD drive. There are some suggestions such as rebooting again (tried this) or that I don't have one so I should go out an buy one…..it's like pc~humor only I do have an internal drive which has been there since the laptop existed so where did it go exactly?. Upon placing a DVD into the drive (it opens and I can even hear it reading the disc) it does nothing and even checking the Windows->computer window the DVD drive which was just there yesterday is nowhere to be found :/. It's really odd as I wonder if the gremlins unhooked it somehow last night? So what to do, well for now without the drive I'm afraid I can't update with any posts which require a DVD drive (Team Dragon was today's post)…..this episode probably sounds really ridiculous but if anyone has any ideas of how to remedy this please help~ ＾ ＾。In the meantime I'll just stare @ AKB's new visual books…….
It's really sad as a few releases arrived today and I can't watch any of it…well there is the bedroom DVD player (which is region free) but I'm sort of used to the laptop for watching just about everything.
On a happier note in addition to Team Dragon's releases there's BK's new single, SMAP's new album which came with a mouse pad!, my very first AKB pv DVD collection which is in a really big case!, AKB's "setlist greatest songs" and I'm now looking at their new visual books for 2010. They each come with 3 randomly inserted photos too~!…and they're B.L.T. photos which makes these my very first which I'm getting without the use of auctions. So far I've opened up Team A's book and yay~* there's Takamina in there!! I do wonder if there are fans who purchase multiple copies of these B.L.T. books in order to collect many member photos??….it's tempting no doubt but that would be soooo soooo expensive (・д・`*)！！。。Aamin's eyes are magnetic every time I turn to her pages (*≧▽≦)♪
~Nacchi♥ is back (*´∀｀)！！
わぁーいo(*´∀｀)o゛！！！。。this is such happy~* news!!!! Nacchi is back!!!! Gosh! the last time she released anything new was way back in the winter of last year with her "Summer Live Tour 2009" DVD but now she has a new single~* being released on September 15th!!! No better way to make a splash~* and return to the music scene then with a collaboration with an accomplished artist…can't wait for release day!

~UTB Aug. 2010 Covergirls S/mileage, Team Dragon & an episode of seifuku♥ gone wild!
Gosh~* I'm truly late with posting the latest UTB (ノロ≦。)！。。and sorry for the late responses this week as I've been a bit under the weather (+_+)
The latest issue has sooooooo many awesome features/pictorials that I ended up scanning the majority of the main features here beginning with S/mileage♥ who've deserving~ly gotten the cover!! While some may have issues with (personal favorite member Yuukarin♥) releasing a solo shashinshuu (July 23rd release date) from the off shots found here I think the photographs keep to her adorableness and even with the mizugi photos it's all tastefully done.
Of course one of the first things to look for when receiving your issue of UTB are the trading cards~*!!
They're sooooo evenly balanced!..with Momoclo having a two~member card in each set, S/mileage being featured in each set either with a solo member card(s) or group card and AKB/SKE having card(s) in every set! Also keeping Acchan and Yuko separate is wonderful thinking although if I had my wish~* I'd have them both in set B as it's the set I received. Yuukarin and Maimichan have such cute cards too and what caught me by surprise in this issue aside from the machine guns and seifuku♥ (。ーωー。)笑．．．．is the solo feature on Erepyon!! Well she's graduating from AKB and here her pictorial was taken before her recent shorter hairstyle which she also sported @ the Anime Expo in LA so perhaps this can be seen as a AKB~farewell feature of sorts as the theme here is her turn to adulthood~.
Receiving set "B" was perhaps meant to be ne~*…I mean there's Yukorin♥!!!, Erepyon♥, Ayaka, S/mileage and yes~! everyone gets Momoclo too~ っo(*´∀｀)o！
Now speaking of seifuku♥ going a bit wild, there's a Matsui Rena (SKE Team S) feature where if you dream~* of school~girls kicking butt in torn up seifuku???……then your wish is about to come true shortly (。ーωー。)笑！Well after the awesome "Majisuka Gakuen" I guess we all should have expected this ne~* =)!
Is is just me? or are the girls of Momoclo appearing to be growing up at a meteoric rate?!! lol their feature is titled "Hurry up girls!!" although their fast developing popularity~* is much more the focus. Hmm…the whole lolli~pop* thing though (*´艸`)！！。。。and something's amiss in their jump scene XD!
omg! okay I didn't scan her feature but Aizawa Rina um….well I'll just say that I once laughed too hard and this happened only no one was there to photograph it :P! Those UTB photographers!! always pushing the envelop!!
Watarirouka♥Hashiritai now featuring Ayarin (she's soooo cute!) are featured for their latest single release~* "Seisun no flag"….Ayarin, Mayuyu, Harugon, Nacchan & Lovetan, such a perfect unit!
But what caught my eye the most in this issue is the Team Dragon feature with Yukorin and Acchan…we'll just call this one a prelude to a kiss♥?….nah just kidding, well sort of kidding (*´∀｀)♥。I ended up doing multiples for the Team Dragon release with me agonizing a bit and then finally choosing the versions of Mayuyu, Yukirin and of course Yukorin…will be posting those soon. Yuukarin and Maimichan close out the issue with solo features each, and with Maimichan her long running UTB features have been getting more beautiful by the issue and there's a sweet~♥ poetic~ness (yes I'm still making up words :P!) as she's represented here in the four seasons….haru "spring", natsu "summer", aki "fall", fuyu "winter." I especially love the colors in her spring and fall photos! so so beautiful! And lastly Yuukarin goes mizugi and while some may have expected it sooner or later I do imagine that there's a mixed array of reactions ranging from age and idols to H!P promoting a popular~* member in a new light. For me, I think she's really pretty~* here and it makes me curious to see her shashinshuu as some idols♥ just have that look and personality which endears~ ＾ ＾♥。

「Featured Post」“RED CLIFF I & II” (Highly recommended viewing)
~Every scene..a single brush stroke upon the canvas.
Films to savor, for film making of this beauty and depth and scale don’t grace us very often..and the fates truly lie in ways of the wind.
I couldn’t recommend two films any more than the John Woo directed epics “Red Clliff” and “Red Cliff II” and if grading on a ☆ scale these films receive 10 out of 10☆’ｓ。
The two films combine for a running time of 4 hours and 40 minutes (2:25 and 2:15 respectfully) but be wary of a condensed version which edited out scenes in order to make the film one as I can’t imagine any loss of scenes doing any justice to John Woo’s masterpiece~. I haven’t felt captivated so much by a film in recent memory and from perfect casting to majestic sets & wardrobe to breathtaking choreography to a brilliant story, Red Cliff truly has it all.
The story is set in 208 A.D. and if you’re like me you’ve watched “Mulan” and wondered what the Hans were really like (人∀`*)。。okay that’s not entirely true :P! But just to see the history of a country at such a pivotal time played out with a budget which spared no expense
lending to a movie shot on such a large scale is beautiful. Did the films cost more than any Asian film to date? Yes~*!..and did it exceed the box office sales of the film “Titanic” in China? Yes~*!
And have historical figures ever looked hotter? Tony Leung, Kaneshiro Takeshi, Zhao Wei and Lin chi ling lead an outstanding cast and if Zhao Wei looks familiar you may have also watched her act along side Shu Qi in the action thriller “so close” while if you’ve seen any of those China Airlines commercials (they sometimes air here in Hawaii on rare occasions for China travel publicity..I think most recently during the Winter Olympics) then Lin Chi Ling (who plays Zhou Yu’s wife Xiao Qiao) will surely be a familiar face…she’s so so beautiful!! She portrays her character with such grace, there are so many scenes where you can live, sense and feel her emotions so much.
Like fine art~* John Woo’s attention to detail makes each scene, a masterful brush stroke with no non~essential scenes where strategy becomes genius and symbolism is presented to the viewer in subtle glances which make their presence and meaning known in some of the most profound and memorable of revelations~. Without presenting any spoilers, the film takes place in a time when the Han Dynasty sought to unite China under a single rulership by means of launching a full scale war on both the kingdoms of Xu and East Wu to the south in hopes of conquering them both. Han Prime Minister Cao Cao would lead a war of an unprecedented scale in China by both sea and by land forcing an alliance between the Xu and East Wu whom are both heavily outnumbered in troops and the sheer size of the Han navy. Enter in genius strategist Zhuge Liang played by the gorgeous Kaneshiro Takeshi..(did I say just how handsome he is!!..okay~* just did ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ♥♥♥。。！！and he provides so many of the wow~* moments in the film where your jaw may hit the ground and you’ll find yourself cheering!) whose knowledge of even utilizing astrology and weather would lead to the fate of a country all done in awe inspiring fashion~. Honor, betrayal, tradition and cunning take center stage as war tactics are played out by the most brilliant of minds…wonder how it’s humanly possible to “make” 100,000 arrows in just 3 days?…..you’ll have to watch to find out ＾ ＾！
“Red Cliff” displays breathtaking cinematography upon a vast and sweeping stage and captures a true realism in its combat scenes (not for the faint of heart!) where even its dialog flows like art and it’s all lead by Woo’s ingenious use of camera angles, pacing and fades throughout~. Underlying meanings in the story also remind us that in every soldier there’s a father..a brother..a son..a friend and though he may wear an “enemy’s” clothing we’re all very much the same inside~. Again I truly can’t recommend a film any more than “Red Cliff”…..for all of its beauty and its ingenuity bringing to life a time of change all culminating into a climax like nothing filmed before, spectacular~! and with 4 hours and 40 minutes of screen time you just knew I wouldn’t be able to help myself from screen~capping bliss (*´∀｀)♥！。。
It’s a must see!!!!

~Yukorin♥ a day in the life, well 600 seconds of it…~
By now I imagine there must be lots of these mini episodes circulating…I'm just watching some of my favorites courtesy of HarimaKenji~*. The files are quite large too for 10 minutes so the video is really clear…well clear relatively speaking of course as "AKB 600 sec" (also available in 5400 second take~home size!) is a hidden camera t.v. program which started just recently. lol some of it seems like the hidden camera crew are stalking the members so you sometimes get odd angles or a view from outside of a building's window but in any case if you've ever wondered and I'm sure many have?…just what do your favorite♥ idols do in their free time? Or if you're Yukorin you bring some of that one~of~a~kind warmth and hilarity to work..(^q^)!
Yukorin has such a ♥teddy~bear♥ for a heart!…and while not finding comfort in Miichan's lap, the scene below ↓↓↓ went on for quite some time as noted in the program awwww ♥♥♥….
Who knew that Miichan also could be a body pillow ねみゅいみたい(´-ω-`)！
Yukorin's hidden camera goes on to show a short clip with Sasshi and Kitarie culminating into a movie discussion, time getting her hair done to shopping @ an amazing place called "NIKEiD STUDIO" where you can design your very own shoe utilizing an awesome program!
The most revealing conversation though occurs later in the evening when she meets with Kayo~chan (that name should have stuck with me the other day (._.;) ) for dinner and the topic of discussion quickly becomes men and what type attracts Yuko♥! So all of the men out there that find Yukorin to be your dream~* girl first you must know that she likes the manly~type…or was that "boyish" no definitely manly as she did a bit of impromptu XD! And it's also notable to mention that it seems that having facial hair….a beard, goatee or something like that gives Yukorin extra incentive to find interest in you…awwww she has a ♥teddy~bear♥ for a heart and she likes if you look like one, kidding :P!!!! I think goatee's are very manly, *sexy if you can grow one ＾ ＾。
….no they're not about to kiss*! Yuko's just in a daze ( 」´０｀)」Ｚｚｚｚｚｚｚｚ．．．．．．．．
Now if the staff and that camera would just leave :P!
It's also noted that if fans are interested in getting the full 90 minute…yes! 90 minute versions of these programs they're being offered on memory cards I think….just imagine of all the funny things Yuko would say with hidden cameras on her for that long (*≧▽≦)♪～！
~Oshima Yuko rumored to be dating Eiji Wentz (・o・)
Hmm…just how smart is Yuko?..well she said and proved a lot by counter~blogging an article put up by Sports Hochi which is a daily sports newspaper just today~. Thank you~* HarimaKenji for linking me (*´∀｀)！
First of all the article is claiming that there are romantic dating ties between Yukorin and WaT's Eiji Wentz and who could blame her I mean he is a hot handsome hapa guy (makes him an "HHH" XD!) Sometimes girls have to attend HHH meetings by order of a court but that's another story :P! Anyway the article goes on to mention details of their "romance" having been going on for a few months (can an idol nowdays really hide for that long without being seen?!!!) ever since the two acted together in the drama "Angel Bank ~ Tenshoku Dairinin" (haven't seen it, now want to see it!) and also mentions Eiji visiting Akihabara Theater and even a concert earlier this month @ Yoyogi National Gymnasium.
Now we all know the consequences of dating while being an idol you see it's similar to a pro star quarterback not being allowed to ride a motorcycle :P! As it's in his contract! Hm, but does an idol have such a contract in which they signed when first joining on I wonder (・c_・;)？Maybe the first meeting could go like this…..
..we'll just call the "agent"…..??? I know!

Agent Kinyoku: Just be sure to read the very fine print, here use my magnifying glass I always carry one with me for these special occasions.
Yukorin: So you're saying I won't be allowed to…snow board, parachute out of a plane/jet anything that flies, go surfing unless it's near to the shore, attempt to fly, drink milk unless it's lactose free, eat fugu, play flag football a the beach, prepare fugu, become pregnant, ride a motorcycle, hang out with Carrot Top, talk to Mel Gibson, dress like Lady Gaga, join the X~Games (unless you're only interviewing the athletes), climb Mt Everest, and no stalking Tackey or Tsubasa?
Agent Kinyoku: No not that section it doesn't apply to you that's just for the male athletes I sign. You just can't date anyone ever.
Yukorin: Male athletes?..'become pregnant?' 
Agent Kinyoku: After you've been in the business for this long and you've seen everything you gotta cover all bases just to be safe.
Yukorin's blog entry to address the report by Sports Hochi can be read here~*. You have to love the poise and wit she employs to deal with this hopefully non situation "situation" as Yukorin first states that she's been written about for her very first dating scoop. She goes on to say that Wentz is much like an older brother to her giving her advice at times and that specifically the meeting at Yoyogi earlier this month during her concert was actually attended by the cast of drama and not just Wentz. There's a funny moment when she says that Wentz "doesn't see her as a female" and she also apologizes to fans and her fellow AKB members for causing so much worry. There's a very sincere tone to everything she writes and you have to really appreciate her candidness in light of such a alarming situation..hopefully non situation "situation." Towards the end of her post Yukorin states clearly that she has no time for love in her life right now with work being her priority above all (the no love part is sort of sad but we all know what Agent Kinyoku would say! (>_<)’！）. But the most funny part of Yukorin's wit comes right at the end where she addresses that the article made her realize she's a celebrity!…and she addresses "Kayochan" (not sure who that is

~Watarirouka Hashiritai’s 「Seishun no flag」 here to raise your spirits and inspire (*≧∀≦)
AKB's mini unit Watarirouka Hashiritai (now new and improved~* with 5 members!) scores their best selling single yet with "Seishun no flag" @ 40,000 units! I can't say enough about how much I so love this unit!! The girls are all so perfect together and all of their songs have been so awesome so far! Plus a new Mayuyu♥ solo?…..yes!
I opted for single types A & C along with their DVD single (released on the same day) and with the first press editions you'll receive a randomly inserted trading card, bonus DVDs with types A & B as well as an extensive photo booklet with type C! Also a poster is included with each edition ordered so….um now I have three copies of the same cute poster you see to the left :P.

Upon opening my singles I received trading cards of Ayarin, Nacchan and yay~♥! Mayuyu♥! (*lucky*) While the backs have messages from the girls what caught my attention most are the lei's in which both Mayuyu and Nacchan are wearing also with flowers in their hair as could it be that AKB is going Hawaiian style~*?!!! The beautiful flowers that Mayuyu are wearing are plumeria, they have a really sweet scent (*´∀｀)。
"Seishun no flag" immediately jingles~* with the catchiest of melodies♪～ and it's deeply reminiscent of the golden J~Pop era of the 80's, here the very staple of AkiP's musical direction has never resonated so infectiously and so poignantly you can't help but move to this one~♥! As music should make you happy~*, "Seishun no flag" has all of the ingredients for turning that most trying day around or perhaps it's one to awake to I think. The song itself is written to be inspirational and the pv carries the visual to do the rest~! The girls all have such cute vocals and we're treated to quite a few solo lines spread around, still Mayuyu's voice is my favorite and she must have struck a chord with the producer as she's again happily~* given a solo song for this single yay~! ("Nantai renai kurage musume") In all there are three tracks total each also with karaoke versions for you to sing along too ♪♪。While I've included the original pv version above there's also an extended movie~like version of this music video titled "special version" which is available on the DVD release which is most awesome too….more on the DVD a bit later. If you've also watched J~Pop groups of yesteryear you'll also notice how even the dance choreography is very much in tune with the style of back then and I so love how seifuku♥ now isn't just for wearing as seen here it can also double as a flag holder っo(*´∀｀)o．．．and not just symbolically coinciding with the title, as they add so much to the dance itself.
In addition to the original version of the title track's pv, both singles types A & B's bonus DVD includes a "let's make a bento…" segment where you'll see each girl's ideal bento go from drawing board (literally!) to shopping for the ingredients……
…plus there's individual self shot camera footage from each girl shot during the making of the pv, the only catch is that type A includes the footage from Lovetan, Harugon & Nacchan while type B includes the footage from Mayuyu & Ayarin…..so cute as Mayuyu places a kiss♥ on Lovetan o(*´∀｀)o゛↓↓↓
As aforementioned, release type C includes a cute~♥ photo book! I've scanned the entire book just below….
"Seishun no flag"'s DVD is definitely a must have!! First there's the "special version" (the movie~styled pv), multiple dance shot versions and these dance versions are quite special!!!!!!!
A most ingenious feature has been placed in both the "4 angle" and "3 angle" versions where the viewer can simply click on the screen on any of the numbers which represent different camera angles as the pvs play~! The response time is quite quick too as the camera angles switch smoothly and it's all at your fingertips….um your mouse's click~*.
The four angle dance version includes the entire group while……
..the three angle versions are solo versions and there's one for each member!! Below is Mayuyu's solo version….a~h I bet you knew I'd pick hers (*´艸`)。。。。
..but wait!, as there's also step by step dance lessons for "Seishun no flag" complete with flag positions as well as "making of" footage also on the DVD release~. But what I really hope is for the multi angle pvs to become a regular feature, they're such a wonderful idea and with so many YouTube dance stars uploading their fan videos I'm sure these multi angle versions will be most helpful ＾ ＾。

I pre~ordered both A & B versions a few weeks ago but had no idea they'd turn out looking like this!!!
