While many of us may not even have heard of a such thing as “full~service” gas stations as they’re pretty much “historical” XD~!….just alone with the price~at~the~pump for regular and how it escalates goes down for a little bit only to escalate once more, with the prices we’re paying now each and ever one of us should be getting so much more* at the pump!!!

Whether it be the courtesy of an actual attendant (pre~historic??…what happened???) but surely with today’s prices if you tallied them up and figured out what it was once worth and then added a bit of courtesy you’d get =…………?!..

Yes~! either a very hot Justin Timberlake~♥ or a most sexy* girl!….

ARASHI♥ 「Dear Snow」

October 6th~♥!!…been waiting for Arashi’s new single~* to arrive!!! And today it’s finally here!! Words can’t even begin to describe just how pretty….elegant…touching….and deep “Dear Snow” is both lyrically and visually! And while I think some fans may find the title track’s pv♥ maybe on the simpler side and especially when you compare it to many of Arashi’s earlier pvs♥, but sometimes to get the deep emotions across in a melody and its lyrics a song needn’t have a complex production but rather a simple~poignancy instead~.

There’s a lot that’s just so warm and cozy~* about this pv♥!…and even down to the background settings everything is purposely simple keeping the focus on our favorite♥ guys….their expressions, thus making the emotional power of the song’s lyrics take center stage as well in seamless fashion. And while I surely love the hot~sexiness* of say the visuals in “Lucky Man” and fun and energy in the visuals of “Happiness”, still there’s so much that’s heart~warmingly~moving about this pv♥ for “Dear Snow” and while the guys aren’t moving around so quickly…….you can gaze~♥~gaze~♥~gaze~ o(*´∀｀)o゛♥！！They all look so good to eat! and in particular for me personally it’s Nino and Matsujun looking most yummy although I think I’d have them all well….somewhere in dreamland~* ＾　＾。

With the LE we’re treated to not one pv♥ version of “Dear Snow” but two ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。！！、。。with the second being a “Making Photo version” which is a gorgeous slide show all in tune with the music~. If you have one of those digital photo frames it’s sort of like that but with a bit more advanced transitions and I love how the single windows flow into sight, turn like floating panels lending more yummy images of Arashi♥!

For me I was already sold on getting both LE and RE versions and it’s even much more of a necessity with this single as while the LE has the bonus DVD with original pv, making photo version pv as well as a “making photo gallery” it’s the RE which includes exclusively the coupling with track “Time Capsule” (plus karaoke for both songs for those who sing along more than just in the shower =) ) making getting both versions a must!!! “Time Capsule” admittedly is going up against some tough competition with “Dear Snow” being soooo sooooo beautiful!! and yet it’s in it’s own right a most catchy~♥ mid tempo ballad~y song ♪♪～＊。And growing on me more as the single’s been on repeat while I now type (*≧▽≦)♪。

I know I’m so bad with this but you just know I wouldn’t be able to resist from gushing~* with lots of Arashi♥ pic~spam (人∀`*)♥！。。。so sexy* sexy* sexy* seeing guys show such emotion~* (*´∀｀)♥！恋にしてる！！！

Gosh~* how time flies and it seems just like it was yesterday that I was watching Haruka~chan’s♥ DVD….e~he! kidding :P! It’s been years since I’ve even opened this case but upon watching I was immediately reminded of how strangely the chapters depicted in the main menu don’t actually match up to the corresponding clip indicated XD!…it’s like they’re all off by one chapter somehow (^q^)! I was still in my teens five years older than Haruka~chan ♥…time does fly (人∀`*)。

She was still a junior~idol back then and what originally caught my attention was that her image DVD was shot entirely right here in Hawaii (*´∀｀)♥！From our beautiful~* beaches to a cook~out and a bit of rolling~around she’s really adorable in these clips! One cute~* chapter is just below to watch (the lighting’s a bit bright here at times and in some of the other clips…not sure why gomen XD) and here for a bit of um fictitious adventures :P!

~Collecting A~min♥ and a indestructible collectible encounter (*´∀｀)♥

Auctions~♥ are an addiction!…thinking now that I may need to attend an “AAA” meeting (“Auction~addicted~anonymous”) or maybe if they invented one of those patches that I could wear :P! One thing for sure though within the rapidly~escalating~bidding~wars on AKB photos~* on Yahoo! Japan Auctions is that, if your favorite♥ members which you’re chasing after are UnderGirls you indeed have an advantage over those bidding on senbatsu~girls♥ (人∀`*)！Now though with the “Janken~senbatsu” complete for AKB’s upcoming single where the UnderGirls dominated the results~* =), I do wonder if my time with bidding without much competition on A~min♥ will end soon? And likewise with the many other UnderGirls now making senbatsu?..so perhaps it was lucky~* ne~ to have acquired these A~min♥ shashin for so little in the past weeks? I mean, will the wota who seriously I think control these auctions’ value in bidding reaching high~or~low react accordingly (・c_・;)？

Most of the photos I won on auctions~* are those most coveted theater photos~♥ and here going back to early 2010 with just a few sets/individual photos being from their record label’s releases, events and B.L.T. Still it’s astonishing when you see just how many auctions are out there with the very same sets at the same time just so widespread~! So it again bears the question of how the theater sets are actually sold to fans?….I mean if you stood in line on the day of their release each month is one allowed to purchase as many photos as their heart~desires♥?…or are there limits? Still just the possibility of the sets being random in members you’d receive I shudder to think….like then omg! how are so many wota completing sets then?…having then enough to auction them in such widespread form (・o・)?! I dearly hope~* that fans are allowed to choose their favorite♥ member’s photos when standing in what I can only imagine to be soooo long lines when there are released each month so disappointment or heartbreak are out of the equation for such dedication~* =). And then there’s the 7~Eleven BE@RBRICK….

..strap…lol I don’t know why that became a <—link above ??? XD!

These were released awhile ago and have been running wild~* on auctions for some time now, curiously though the A~min BE@RBRICK which I bid on is marked as “NOT FOR SALE” as in promotional?…..so while these were actually being sold for 700 yen each with a total of 48 (16 per team~♥) being available so perhaps there are promo versions also being sold in auctions?…which isn’t uncommon. Also so awesome that each BE@ARBRICK design was personally created by each of the 48 AKB girls ー(*≧∀≦)ノ！、A~h my A~min♥ BE@RBRICK strap…..

…said to be ‘unbreakable’ on its packaging but I mean have you witnessed how some children um abuse their toys…lol oh wait no it says on the back that BE@RBRICK’s are an adult collectible and not a toy…Whew! I was just thinking about that car commercial where that boy is smashing and abusing all of his toy cars lol (´。・д・。)！！

A~min’s♥ so pretty and love~love her BE@RBRICK design mmm…I’m yet to release her from her packaging which if you’ve been reading here for awhile you know I’ll surely do :P! U~n and I’m still a collector’s nightmare when it comes to any kinds of figures (*´艸`)。。。I’ll open everything as I’m just thinking that I’ve no intention of ever re~selling them =).

~How do you create a blogroll @ WP?

Hello~*, with Vox I wasn’t able to create an actual blogroll as my sidebar there was I think much more limited that it is here at WP? So I’ve been looking through the menus here but even in my “appearance” menu I don’t seem to see anything that would create a blogroll with a title (._.;).

I’m not sure if it’s okay for me to add your blog here but if it is please help~♥!

 

~Idol♥ pop quiz #2 「The early idol room invasion」…

While mankind may have a lot to boast about in history, it seems that ever since the beginning of Idol~kind♥ the art of the room~invasion has long been the brainchild of well…..idol management?…cruel producers?…..some random guy looking for laughs that was given the reigns of a t.v. show’s production for a day :P?….or well most likely it’s just surely part of the idol♥life ne~* (/∇＼*)！！、。。。and so the torture, I mean um..”expected” surprise incidents must go on XD.

Some of my personal favorite moments~* in early morning idol♥room invasion have been with Hello! Project for sure!!!..who could forget Kamei♥ being intruded on all megane~style with her room and hair all a~mess (￣Ｏ￣*)。。Nacchi waking to one creepy guy in bed with her!…well a comedy team actually but still so omg :O!!!….or Reinachan’s most nuisance~reacted moment and they were even placing things* on her face while asleep (￣Ｏ￣*)。。and there’s Arashi♥…..and it was so funny and yet endearing how Matsujun♥♥♥ carried on the room~invasion of his fellow members after being the very first to be woken up by surprise~* and it all culminating in a free~for~all in poor Riida’s♥ room (。ーωー。)笑！！

Sa~! so with today’s idol♥pop quiz we’re following along into a most unsuspecting idol’s♥ room as she’s in deep sleep ( 」´０｀)」Ｚｚｚｚｚｚ．．．．．～！

However one thing that always worries me with these early morning room~invasions is that well with us girls you….um may see some things* or circumstances that were never meant to be seen by anyone else like ever (*´艸`)！！！。。

..for instance! Well there’s our clothes and personal belongings which may be out in the open as we don’t expect anyone to enter our private domains at this time….and with the prying of some most intrusive staff/management/fellow group members or the like things most personal♥ may be exposed (*´艸`)！！！。。such as a few articles of clothing like your bikini which you had just worn* earlier in the day while yes~! those very same staff/management/fellow group members or the like were um…..torturing you or (*sigh…) you may have actually just had fallen to the all time dreaded batsu~game and thought you’d paid your dues previously (*>ω<)！！！！And then to have a guy or several guys not only see you when you’re most vulnerable =/! but also touch* your most intimate belongings……your bikini….underwear……and gosh~*!@@!! here ↑↑↑ even that tiny bit of her bikini top padding* is exposed and well I can totally relate although I’ve never used them myself…lol I’m tiny so I’m tiny and it’s okay XD…and yet men seem to be more likely?..perhaps to be attracted to larger busts so sometimes we must enhance~* for you to noticeっo(*´∀｀)o！～！。。！If you only had any idea of what girls will go through just to get your attention~ (*´∀｀)♥。

Still.

Batsu never sleeps.

Or in this case it’s those most intrusive staff members who also never sleep it seems :O!!!

Today….listening to Manoeri’s latest single “Genkimono de ikou!” and while truly no one on earth may ever reach that euphoric~* plateau of Kohachan~♥ here Manoeri does her very best to chase that wild unreachable dream =D!! “Genkimono de ikou!” is part Amp energy drink (low carb version~), Red Bull and Vitamin water~♥ all in one easy to take home package =D!! Just above is the most awesome “Director’s Cut Version 1”  and while the original pv♥ version is wonderfully fun too with all of the dancing mayhem….guy in red tights (・o・)！、and all of that joy, the director’s cut is a true gem of a video as it’s part music video and part living comic in action at the same time and you gotta love the progressive story~telling as it all surrounds one most potent and mysterious drink and how everyday office life can be turned completely around….or upside down :P! Manoeri also goes China~doll for a bit which is soooo cute!!!…and through it all I just never imagined the day would arrive when I would witness Manoeri with a whip A~ra~ra~~ra~ra (*´艸`)！！

There’s such a contrast with the two songs here!!! Coming from an almost Kohachan~♥ state of the title track its coupling with song is a most sweet~* and flowing ballad (*´∀｀)♥。

Manoeri♥ has been such a wonderful mentor for H!P Eggs going back to her teaming up with the then future members of S/mileage having them act in a back~up dancer capacity as well as in live performances….grooming them for future success and now here even with more Eggs~(*´∀｀)♥。

And that red guy, I don’t know why but he just cracks me up (^q^)!

「Featured post」~October is breast cancer awareness month~

You may have noticed so much pink~♥ recently! And while charities and organizations alike are standing together to find a cure to this awful disease there’s so much we can do ourselves to participate~♥. Whether it be a local fun raiser, charity walk or purchasing a breast cancer awareness T~shirt each and every effort means so much truly!

I think a lot of us have been touched in one way or another by breast cancer…..a mother, a sister, a relative, a friend..so October stands for so much in this fight (*￣Ｏ￣)ノ ！、。。。I’ve seen breast cancer hurt so many and personally it’s been very close to me too in my family. If we all stand together I know we can make that difference, yoroshiku ne~ (*´∀｀)♥。

「Featured post」~Matsuura Aya x Moritaka Chisato

On November 24th Ayaya is scheduled to release~* a new album and while the details are still a bit light its  noted to include 7 re~recorded versions of previously released songs which you just know is going to be most awesome~!! For me personally though, the most exciting news about Ayaya’s upcoming album is that it’ll include a duet version of the J~Pop classic song “Watarasebashi” with none other than the incomparable Moritaka Chisato!!!!

And when it comes to Hello! Project performing cover songs, Moritaka Chisato has been a most favorite~♥ choice =)! Minimoni first covered Moritaka’s “Rock n’ Roll kenchou shozaichi”, both Ayaya and Gomaki released covers of “watarasebashi” a few years ago which is still my all time favorite~♥ Moritaka Chisato song and most recently Nacchi did a cover of Moritaka’s “The Stress.”

This upcoming duet I think is going to be most special~* as Ayaya will be meeting with a J~Pop pioneer/legend and with Ayaya having always been a cut~above her fellow members in H!P for all of those years with her vocal prowess, there’d be no one more perfect for this duet!!

So a bit earlier I picked out a few DVDs from the shelves to find Ayaya’s performances of “Watarasebashi” and I ended up choosing her Shanghai live and studio live version (which is wonderfully~ jazzy♥!) along with one of my favorite~♥ “Watarasebashi” live performances by Moritaka Chisato from her “Lucky 7 live” DVD っo(*´∀｀)o。

An upcoming Moritaka♥Chisato post will be in the works although it may take some time to complete but surely I’ll begin writing it soon! I’ll be drawing from her complete musical discography which I’ve collected over the years with the exception of just a couple of her most early live DVDs, tanoshimi kudasai ＾　＾。

Here you can compare and enjoy Ayaya and Moritaka’s unique vocal approaches to “Watarasebashi” and while most I’m sure are familiar with Ayaya’s awesome vocal ability and range Moritaka~san’s voice is also most incomparable…..mite ne (*´∀｀) ♪。。。。

..and Moritaka’s lyrics here so beautifully written….really sweet in nostalgia and it can make you sad too.

edit: added in Gomaki’s~♥ version from her album “3rd Station” released on February 23rd, 2005. Love her version too and with Gomaki’s depth of vocals you really feel the emotions in the lyrics~. Remember when H!P used to include high quality trading cards with some of their single and album releases?….miss those days.
