Kusunoki Miyuu is a member of the idol group “Sweet★Paste” and today we’ll be taking a look at what is her final photo book collection aptly titled “see you!! (;_;).” A long time and previous junior idol, Miyuu~chan has released now four solo shashinshuu as well as numerous digital only photo collections and an 
armada of image DVDs…. yes an “armada” of them and if you do happen to find a complete discography of them it’ll be like nothing seen this side of earth =O. While idols and modeling have seemingly been the norm for ages now in Japanese culture as seen through the media, countless magazine publications and shashinshuu, the collision of gravure idols and junior idols in particular, sometimes synonymous, and without question has rung true in many an idol’s career and is also true in the earlier career of Kusunoki Miyuu. And while the long debated question of how sexy is too sexy? ….amongst idols, Japan has long blurred the lines between modeling and youth and it’s as if this other world of consent exists in idol’s society whether it be purely for monetary gains or rather for modeling purposes, only those behind those curtains will ever know on a career by career basis.
As aforementioned “see you!!” marks Miyuu~chan’s final
photo book collection as it also coincided with her final DVD release titled appropriately “FINAL MOVIE” which was released last December the 25th, Christmas Day!
Kusunoki Miyuu whom was born in Tokyo, is approximately 5 foot 2 inches tall and her hobbies include cooking and hair arrangement =).
It is also notable that Kusunoki Miyuu states this as being her “nickname” as she is formerly known as Sasaki Miyuu ….interesting that it’s her last name rather than her first name which has undergone a “stage” name change over time.
A special thank you!! to L. Vee for allowing me to very carefully scan portions of your Kusunoki Miyuu shashinshuu “see you!! (;_;).” Mm.. no pages were harmed during the scanning process as this shashinshuu was returned unscathed =)!
“see you!! (;_;).” is a very high quality produced hard cover edition shashinshuu and while it’s quite large measuring in at approximately: 12 inches by 9 3/8 inches, it is larger than your standard scanner so I tried my very best to capture the images as best I could albeit its pages are larger than my scanning surface. This shashinshuu comes dressed in an outer dust jacket and includes an obi as well.

Now much like one Koike Rina, Miyuu~chan has long outgrown her “junior” idol label so consider this photo book “see you!! (;_;)” as her farewell pictorial as an idol gone gravure only for one final time.

Yup it seems that idol’s long running tradition of “I’m in no way completely nude, I just appear to be that way” =P by the “magic” of strategically placed arms, flowers, legs or whatever else the photographer can find nearby ….is in no way going the direction of the dinosaurs by any means!~! ^^*
I am also pleased to say that Miyuu’s shashinshuu here is completely free of any phallic symbols, phallic symbolism or the occasional obvious banana or gigantic sausage! =D As they tend to make an appearance or at least two when it comes to any gravure idol’s photography (*´∀｀) うれしー♥♥♥！

When it comes to an idol’s sensual photography, Miyuu~chan’s long been second to none.
And as she bids farewell to her gravure modeling career, her final photo project “see you!! (;_;)” continues her photogenic brand of seamlessly transcending the lines between innocence and naughty to that of energetically~playful to an essence of sultry ….and really this photo book’s sense of style is equally a wide array as Miyuu~chan is featured in everything from seifuku to a ballerina’s touch, to everyday casual♥ to undergarment~intimates, sexy swimwear to preppy~adorable to sleepwear and just about everything in between. Two absolutely gorgeous looks has got to be Miyuu~chan’s China-doll dress and her sexier than the very meaning of the word itself-red & black lingerie which would “probably” even make Grimace blush*!! btw what the heck is Grimace supposed to be anyway (・c_・;)？

Overall, a nice shashinshuu, though she’s not really my type I guess? She has a nice pouty face though, and that always scores bonus points with men, I think. I’m no exception. Miyuu chan certainly is amazing though, ne? And the actual shashinshuu itself looks like a gorgeous book to add to a collection!

My first time seeing a photo book of hers and when you research her catalog of releases it’s unreal how many “image” DVDs she’s released and in a relatively short amount of time I must say. A~h! so the pout~y look does have its powers of persuasion, unfortunately I just end up looking angry that way xD! This is a really well produced PB for sure and really the photographer did capture Miyuu~chan in many many different looks and wardrobes, plus locations. It’s amusing seeing how many “here’s my underwear…” photos there are =O. Japan’s in a different world when it comes to an idol’s/ model’s age and sensual photography, much room for debate on that alone really.
Also I hope to catch up on comments here tomorrow ….free time permitting =).

I agree, Japan has a mind of its own, truly, when it comes to younger idols and what they show and don’t show. I mean, just look at Tomonaga Mio from HKT and her Shashinshuu… I mean, my goodness!
Anyway, I’m sure you don’t look angry when you pout. You probably look awesome!!!! I can only imagine lol.

It really is a different world in that sense, I remember in the early days of Hello! Project a girl like Airiin would get a solo shashinshuu and people would lose their minds saying she’s too young to be wearing that bikini and such …and yet things have only gotten racier since so much that a youthful Airiin simply wearing a bikini is now most normal. For the most part I think of it all as being modeling and a means for girls to express themselves… well and to feel cute of course. I may pout to get my way, oh no no no I’ve “never” done that…(^q^)!

I think it’s all about expression, as you said. And I think if the girl is okay with it, like truly okay and hasn’t been pressured into it, then maybe we should all mind our own business if we have something negative to say about her decision, you know? It’s not our decision to make.
And suuuuuuure MB, you’ve never pouted to get your way~! lol. Too funny. I would love to see you post a video of you just pouting… I bet it would get a million views on youtube.
