Happy Aloha Friday~! =)
So tonight I thought we’d watch some random stuff from memory lane although the forecast does call for at least “some” Kamei ^^. So we’ll have a little bit of sports, a little art, something educational and some music of course. Does that sound random enough? Okay let’s go =)….
~Ribbon “Taiyou ni hi wo tsukete” (live)~
So I’m thinking that some music shows of yesteryear sure had some time constraints as this awesomely nostalgic clip runs just a little over two minutes, I mean they only get in one verse and chorus and that’s it! =O Still this one’s J-Pop gold!! Ribbon was a trio of whirlwind talent with Nagasaku Hiromi, Satoh Aiko and Matsuno Arimi creating a tour de force of vocal talent which saw equality on all levels as each could easily hold their own and appropriately the vocal lines distributed very much in the same manner with none being a central member for that matter. Hiromi, Aiko and Arimi also possess such vastly unique tones and nuances in their voices that identifying each of their solo lines becomes quite the simple affair after learning just a few of their songs over a short period of time and speaking of vocal ability, the trio of Ribbon till this day I believe remains as one of the most talented and impressive.

~H!P Sportsfest 2006 Ft. Kusumi Koharu 100M~
(AKA: The Miracle on Grass…well with Kohachan♥ being dubbed as the Miracle Girl by one Mr. Tsunku himself all those years ago!)
The year was 2006 and the venue….the Saitama Super Arena where H!P’s awesome Sportsfest games were being held in front of a massive showing of fans and if my memory serves me right it was Konkon whom was busy lapping the field during the 1500M run while even the likes of tiny Momo and Airiin whizzed on by Kohanchan. However when it came to the 100M sprint it was Kohachan pulling off quite the surprise upset!~! Okay so Sayu wasn’t very quick and while Coconut’s Musume’s Ayaka put up a good fight it was actually Inaba Atsuko whom was shocked when a super hyper (well actually being super hyper always came second nature for Kohachan didn’t it!~!….our little Red Bull energy drink in human form who could! =) ) …Yup it was a moment to marvel as Kohachan dashed to an unforeseen victory!!!! Inaba Atsuko did get revenge in some form when she left Kohachan in the dust a bit later during the long distance 1500M run however the upset of the 100M had already been planted ^^.
~Kamei vs. Drawing~
If you’ve watched H!M for any length of time back in the day then I’m sure you’re likely aware of Kamei’s “artistic talent.” She can’t draw. She was once held back by herself after the segment was over after being given an artist’s set as a gift for being the worst in hopes of her getting better but it hasn’t helped as we see on this particular day. And even considering today’s fun and interactive situation her drawings are simply odd…..as in oddly~fantastic ー(*￣Ｏ￣)ノ！ And that’s just another reason that I adore her, as if I needed anything more ^^.
~Kamei vs. Spiderman~
The date was November 28th, 2004 and after that awesomely talented guy who appears to be a cross between Halloween and an art scholar provides the girls with a wonderful bear story, he serves here as both a judge as well as art educator to the girls whose task on this episode is to individually draw a given subject in hopes of having her teammates guess/know what it is exactly in order to win points. Sounds simple right? Like Pictionary with a bit of a different format as each girl’s drawing is completed before their individual revelations. So this little clip begins with Mako-chan’s drawing just so you can see how things should normally turn out and then Kamei was asked to draw Spiderman. Let the adorable hilarity commence ^^. Oh and Gakisan has the MOST hilarious expression on her face the second Kamei’s masterpiece is revealed!!….I mean her expression seems to say something along the lines of …”WT# is that?” =P.
The date was July 11th, 2004 and during Hello! Morning’s opening dialogue during their summertime special, host Marippe asks for an opening pose from each girl and sure there are a lot of cute one’s along the way however no one on this day flirted with the camera quite like our one and only Kamei~♥…..yup I actually just edited out the opening for Kamei’s Wink, I’m wacky like that ^^.
~H!M Haromoni Academy June 26th, 2005~
Our favorite English Sensei Thane-san is back for a bit of “hand in cheese.” Yes you read that right, “hand in cheese” =)….thank you Kamei~♥ ^^. This is actually just the first segment out of three as it’s the best by far for this episode and while all of the girls incur a lot of fun and missteps along the way a couple of more honorable mentions must go to Mikitty and Aichan….boy am I glad to know English =)!
