～The Paruru～♡ Strikes Back

From epic to humorous to breezy to cryptic to a gigantic penis to heartfelt….Family48’s♥ latest single headlined by “Bokutachi wa tatakawanai” will take you into a whirlwind of visuals and emotions and as always with AKProductions you just know that no expense will be spared!

Released late last month on the 20th, this now their 40th single release coincides with the the equally awaited and most epic event known as AKB48’s Sousenkyo or General Elections which is now in its final days of voting. So with each single you purchase you’ll receive a voting ticket which has a unique code which then can be entered onto the official voting site where you may place your vote(s) on whomever your heart so desires~* ^^. So just yesterday after many debates with myself I finally did visit the site and place my four votes and it really wasn’t easy choosing whom to vote for as for one Family48 is a gigantic place perhaps even overfilled with way too many amazingly talented and adorable idols♥ from which you’ve most likely favorited more than a few girls and secondly with a known gist of the probable top vote getters should one’s votes further their possible dominance or instead should you vote to boost the rankings of your other many many favorites? Of course the mindless and yet heart backed decision would have been to simply vote for my Oshi~♥ Mayuyu♥ like four times in a row but like last year I decided to instead spread the love just tinny bit further and so I ended up voting for Paruru, Kitarie and well……of course Mayuyu twice Σ(￣◇￣*)！Ricchan would have been a toss up between herself and Kitarie however I was surprised not to see her anywhere on the official voting site and it wasn’t until afterward that I learned that she had opted out of this year’s General Election =/. The reasoning goes without question and yet while I’ve been totally out of the loop of AKLife for some months now I have to wonder if a particular song/music video herein is actually sending a very real message as to Ricchan’s future?? But more on that when we arrive at said song =).

Hmm….? So the synopsis here goes something like: A long time ago in a galaxy far far away AKB’s Secret Angelic~Fashion Runway show goes under a shocking attack by the dark dark forces of ATOW whom wield fierce weaponry including explosive projectiles and deadly light sabers alike =O! (BTW place wings on the Girls48 and it instantly transforms any party into a heavenly and yet sexy eye- O-O -candy bliss filled time…(^q^)!) Now in the deadly aftermath we witness a ransacked Tatooine where Paruru Skywalker suddenly awakens to the voice of her master and best girlfriend Mayu Wan Kenobi in her mind whom induces in Paruru a lemon-peel scowl and rage like never seen before (・д・`*)！！！No wait. That lemon-peel part…we’ve already witnessed on news stands and television sets nationwide for quite some time now =P and it’s really like Paruru’s BRAND which I’m strangely now both accustomed and attracted to where one can only guess what’s emotionally occurring inside or perhaps it’s something as simple as…..

..or perhaps…

….?? =)

Seriously though how incredible is this MV!! The fight choreography and training the girls all had to battle through with mesmerizing results!! I particularly love how the various dance scenes seamlessly act as a somewhat “calm” between all of the butt-kicking and light sabering that’s going on with an octane leveled vengeance and bonus points for wardrobes all around whether they’re being worn on the Victoria’s Secret AKANGEL’s Secret runway, awesome dance sets or the desert plains of Tatooine =)! And it’s not just coincidence that Paruru happens to be headlining the awesomeness here as this mv itself acts as a PR campaign of sorts for her (except there are no special interest groups and shady donations to speak of =)!)…as we’re on the cusp of electing the Senbatsu Overlords to rule over the galaxy for another annual term, coincidence?….I think not! Oh okay so I’m a ‘tad’ ‘bit’ biased is all and maaaaaaybe just a bit too open minded is all…(^q^)!

Also note how Paruru’s♥ hairstyle itself has a starring role here as well as hers is in deep contrast to her fellow surrounding group mates as in no bangs vs. lots of bangs…okay so she does indeed have bangs however she not being banged up here so to speak =P! I personally adore her bang~less (today’s made-up word!) look very much as it then allows her big and gorgeous almond shaped eyes to shine~*~~* even more than usual!

And yet to further this conspiracy of galactic proportions, you know how in the ‘future’ everyone will be wearing the same exact outfit so that we can appear to be organized and uniform in mind to aliens and any other unearthly beings we will be meeting?..well just think about the Big Bangs Theory as in how the whole bangs look is overwhelmingly worn by idols and how that’s a ‘perfect’ =P analogy to the whole wearing the same outfit idea of the future ＼(^o^)／ ☆！！、see how it all comes full circle! BTW I’ve worn bangs for the better part of the past two decades so guilty as charged!! I am properly prepared for the future =).

Maybe I shouldn’t share every single thought that pops into my head at any given moment of the day/night….

And speaking of Mayu~”Wan”~Kenobi♥, you do remember the legendary Jedi Master Master of Dog Whisperers right?

See what I did there? Japanese have a spoken sound for just about everything in nature to animals like from the rain “za~za~za!” to doggies with “Wan~Wan!” Yes I am a dork and a card carrying one at that….we’re talking like ~certified~!!!!!!!  (。ーωー。)笑！

And before we move on just one more thought on Paruru’s performance in “Bokutachi wa tatakawanai” ….you did notice what she ‘clearly’ has in common with acting great Robert De Niro right?

How Paruru can ‘say so much’ without uttering a single word, like with just one look two full pages of dialogue just went by with complete silence….okay so it’s perhaps just a single emotion being emulated without words herein you know stemming from being completely pissed that her runway show was totally destroyed, “Sasshi not being made” along with that guy getting zapped and all right in front of her, you know he was kinda cute! =)

~Selection 16 “Summer side” (mv)~

Fun and breezy, that’s the vibe with “Summer side” with a mv which emulates that to a tee and while the song itself may be a bit ‘generic’ in tone the accompanying visuals here surely make up for any of that sentiment I’m sure! What’s also a refreshing surprise is that the girls aren’t going all mizugi on us for this one, you know with a title like “Summer side” and all it would have actually been very much expected…I hear summer and I immediately think let’s get nearly naked as much as allowed by law=)! Kudos for the adorable wardrobes all around which at times actually made me think slumber party rather…..nothing too deep here but still a truly enjoyable song and visual ^^. ps. and if for nothing else at all, just to see a particular someone here getting very girly with Miichan is well worth the price of admission =).

~TentouMuchu! “Danshi wa kenkyuu taishou” (mv)~

Here’s our first version exclusive mv as “Danshi wa kenkyuu taishou” only appears on type A’s DVD. Was it just me or did that whole experiment thingy look sort of like a gigantic dancing penis ↑↑↑ ?? Sort of a sneaky way of creating idol porn don’tcha think! =O So by utilizing the girls’ genki~(ness) & heart our research object should me like a man right? Well look at this thingy…it’s got the soldiers helmet just about right minus the face being there of course otherwise your man’s an alien my friend just you know…(^q^)! A friend once told me that ‘you can look down and see breasts anytime!’ and I say you can look down and see your thingy* anytime…so touche (。ーωー。)笑！Oh and this song is really one of those sweetly whimsical numbers where the vocals and melody just make you wanna say something like… きゃぁーっっっヾ(＾∇＾)！～！～！～！

And just when this cute mv ends I’m like WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! Did you see what that gigantic penis thing did after he collapsed while the girls were surrounding him?? It exploded with a milky looking splish~splash (・д・`*)！！！Okay maybe it was just vapors however I was already in the mindset that it was a gigantic penis, so sorry my fault =P.

NOTE TO SELF:  Don’t ever play with a gigantic dancing penis thing ever! …_〆(・∀・＠)

Although he did last* for more than a minute I think which is better than some regular sized penises =).

~DendenMuchu! “Kafuka to DendenMuchu!” (mv)~

Type B’s DVD is the exclusive home to the mv by DendenMuchu! The storybook theme is a nice touch and this one is pure fantasy fun which comes with a bit of magic, a sleeping beauty, thy forbidden fruit in gigantic form, a rain dance and the promise of more + to come =). The visuals and wardrobes are enchanting no doubt and yet I found this particular song to be a sort of a middle of the road type of song as it didn’t quite allure me into multiple plays and a want to add to my ipod playlists, still it’s cute no doubt and vocally it’s done very well but hmm….

~AKB48 Team 8 “Yogoreteiru shinjitsu” (mv)~

Well the truth, the whole dirty truth about this mv is that it’s completely cryptic!!!! Think dark like Ueto Aya’s awesome mv for “Message” with the added touch of monochrome shots, some of the very BEST dance choreography this single offers!!….as well as dynamic editing magic which creates a distinctly eerie aura all around and wallah!..you’ve got one amazing music video which you can’t take your eyes or ears off of as the song too is pretty great!!  Okay so it’s not quite “Mulholland Drive” and thankfully so as as David Lynch really managed to creep and well confuse the heck out of me back then and then it became sort of pretentious as there were additional film meaning clues written right onto the DVD’s chapter card as he just KNEW that no one of this planet would understand what they’d just watched (*>ω<)！！～！！So watch Team 8’s visual project here and replay as necessary while I go check the CD cases liner notes for some hidden clues (。ーωー。)笑！

~AKB48 “Barebare bushi” (mv)~

NOW here’s easily my most favorite mv of this entire single!!!!!!!

As a matter of fact type D’s DVD includes not one but two exclusive music video tracks and they’re both favorites~♥ by far rivaling even the title song’s “Star Wars” mv which opens this post!! “Barebare bushi” captures the television age of yesteryear perfectly with sets and wardrobes all the while injecting its entirety with an arousing sense of humor and an amazingly fun and candid enka song!!!! Whether it be Mayuyu as the poor dear mother, Yukirin as the Grandma or the likes of Paruru as one of the children it’s fun hijinks galore with toupee mishaps, culinary misfortunes and even a bit of toy sharing or lack there of =P. Even the filming is of a hazy sort of color for the sake of old times and oh Yes! the salarymen of course are most prominently represented with some of the giddiest choreography yet! And you gotta love how each key family member or AKGirl if you will, gets their very own verse to represent the genre with each an also most unique take on the humor of yesteryear films….this one’s pure joy~*~~* and (sigh*…) Mayuyu looks so darling here in her role and I even think I spied a smile of sorts from the adorable and possibly misunderstood Paruru~♥ =D.

~AKB48 “Kimi no dai ni shou” (mv)~

Remember about eight and a half hours ago (actually that’s the time it’s taken to write, upload, edit, cap, and weird you out to this point! =P….) I had mentioned an mv featuring dear Ricchan♥. Well the final mv of the set which as aforementioned is also exclusive to type D’s DVD is about as heartwarming as music videos come~♥. A moving recollection of memories brought to life with the premise of a single book and how the bonding of friendships and hard work have all led to the realization of one’s dream~* and furthermore the future. To reiterate I’ve been most absent on the daily happenings of Family48 so perhaps my reading into this video is misguided or is it? I mean it’s clearly depicting Ricchan pondering and then going through a great and wonderful transition in her life and career which means life after AKB♥. And so with that is it purely fictional or is it simply reality? Ricchan’s graduating? The dreadful attack from May of last year still very fresh in mind as that sort of sick action doesn’t fade ever really =(. Also Ricchan’s notable absence from this years Sousenkyo…..so is it art emulating life or simply life emulating art~? ^^ In any case what an absolutely gorgeous song ♪～♪ ～♡~^^。
