ARASHI 「Calling x Breathless」

With a friend here being turned onto ARASHI recently I thought it a perfect time to reminisce with a few older postings from over the past few years here @ WP ^^.

Just released on March 6th Arashi’s back with a new double A~sided single! The tracks “Calling” and “Breathless” are both theme songs for the drama “Last Hope” starring Aiba and “Platinum Data” starring Nino respectfully.

And happy for us! both songs get grade A music videos with each being included with Arashi’s limited edition singles (“Calling” is included with the type A single, “Breathless’ is included with single type B). Easy to fall into instant love with both tracks equally but it never hurts to have great visuals to go along with the always outstanding song writing the guys never cease to present fans. And if this were a technical awards show I’d have to award the pv for “Calling” with ‘best dramatic frenzy of editing, camera angles and lighting’ while the equally alluring “Breathless” would receive ‘best dance choreography with amazing futuristic cube theme! (thank you CGs!!). I was checking on the first day sales and their pretty big so far reaching nearly the 400,000 mark (most likely past that by now) and it’ll be interesting to see just how high up sales will reach after its first week has passed! And while I’ve still to meet an ARASHI single that I didn’t like “Calling”/”Breathless” is definitely ranking somewhere in the upper echelons ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。！！ やっほぃ♪。
