Happy Aloha Friday!!!!!
Hope the weekend’s start is going wonderful for you too!
Idols♥ very much like beauty while timeless go through fashion trends and the like being a sign of the times and tonight we’ll continue to celebrate ~*the ever changing evolution of idols♥ over the years as Idols♥ Unzipped rolls on~.
A few months back I was re-watching a J-dorama favorite starring Ikewaki Chizuru♥ alongside the gorgeous Tackey♥…that dorama is “Taiyou no kisetsu” and while I’ve loved Chichan in quite a few doramas I’ve had a fondness for some of her earlier works which includes “Summer Snow” near the top likewise as that was the first I’d seen her act in…and so with keeping a long story short it got me thinking about scanning her shashinshuu collection which I’d collected a few years back save for her most recent which I’d gone through a proxy to purchase recently as it’s been long out of print.
And so tonight we’ll begin with Chichan’s shashinshuu “Hanapepe” and you guessed it…this one’s extra special ~*as it was shot entirely here in Hawaii♥ albeit on another island that being the garden isle of Kauai, the oldest in the Hawaiian Island chain. Hanapepe is located on Kauai’s south western coastal area and is very much a historic town which has a rich history much of which is still celebrated today through its culture and landscape which remains very true to its deep country roots =). I’m sure over the years you’ve perused the pages of many idol shashinshuu photographed in Hawaii with the majority shot on the island of Oahu, and so here you can really appreciate just how different the feel of “Hanapepe” truly is beside most other Hawaii themed idol photo books as it’s far from the heavy urbanization of Oahu.
So here’s a very youthful Chichan on our garden isle and really you can appreciate so much of the appeal of the warmth of a tinier community town which is captured here beautifully with a real sense of a little town’s intimacy…frozen in a simpler time…Chichan♥ of course as adorable as ever~ ^^.
