As Weekly Playboy and Family48 continue their beautiful relationship the latest issue features the top trio of idols with Sasshi, Mayuyu & Yukirin angelic in white and a great bonus with this particular issue is the inclusion of an A5 size AKB48 clear file!!! The front of the clear file features the top 16 senbatsu while the back is all about our trio of covergirls. This issue also includes beautiful pictorials of Sugimoto Yumi, Ishibashi Anna, a personal fave in Kakei Miwako, SKE48’s water park CM, a very busty ~Hazuki Yume (and there’s that under boob top look which I just don’t get…) and Nakata Aya’s doing the Demi Moore thing and it’s a most gorgeous thing at that! which reminds me that my biological clock is ticking ~* (*>ω<)!!

Love, love love those portraits of Sasshi, Mayuyu and Yukirin! They are just perfect photos. Was intrigued to see a pregnant idol, too: it’s quite rare isn’t it for a mum-to-be to be included?

Weekly Playboy is in a full love affair with Family48 and who could blame them and it’s very reminiscing of Hello! Project’s love affair with UTB in their golden years and beyond where they still hold the record for the most consecutive covers for a group franchise ever in UTB =)….quite amazing looking back on it and just how dominate they were in the media as AKB is likewise today. I was surprised to see Nakata Aya’s pictorial here as it’s much more rare in Japanese culture to see the beautiful celebration of life in quite this way ^^.

I spotted (a little late) that Aki-P is to direct the 2020 Olympics ceremony with Ninagawa Mika, which I thought was wonderful news, but there was a petition against choosing him from people believing he’d done harm to the Japanese record industry! Crazy really, because non-AKB Jpop is thriving, and you couldn’t get more home-grown than Aki-P, especially compared to the many performers who have a more overtly Western sound. Presumably he’ll have graduated by 2020, and even if AKB is no more, I’m certain his and Ninagawa’s show will be amazing.

I’m in complete agreement with every thing you’ve just stated!!!! It’s probably a lot of haters petitioning against this AkiP collaboration happening which would be unfortunate =/. 2020 seems so far away and like you say it’s difficult to imagine where AKB and AkiP likewise will be when that time comes….longevity appears to be with them so we’ll see how history shakes out with the top of the idol world as there was a time when Momusu seemed invincible.
