(I just noticed a little glitch today and if all images don’t appear properly, you may need to refresh this page)
AKB48’s annually wondrous bikini extravaganza mook (aka: “AKB48 Sosenkyo! Mizugi Surprise Happyo” mook/book hybrid) was just released on August 4th where the top vote getters (this year featuring the top 80) from each year are featured with as little clothing as possible without it becoming a soft~porn extravaganza so Yay ＼(^o^)／ ☆ for the wardrobe department, Louis Réard and the fact that our sex willingly wants too?/aspires to? show off sooo much skin … (。ーωー。)笑！Okay kidding a bit but it was a guy whom came up with the entire less is more bikini idea after all ^^.
And when I think of the bikini besides the obvious aim to ‘perhaps’ set thy male loins ablaze, it really literally comes down to carefully planning for your said bikini appearance whether it be at your local beach or abroad on an exotic photo shoot (dreaming~*!!) it’s all about the diet and well should I have that muffin? or not…(^q^)! REally an ill timed muffin binge and your bikini may not fit as well as you’d liked it to xD.
Okay so just above are images of the giant two-sided A1 sized poster which comes sealed as part of every mook…of course it’s the Angel~Mayuyu♥ side which rocks right! While just below is a four part scan of the bonus two-sided A2 sized poster which is a limited time extra and upon checking just today it appears that Cdjapan has indeed run out of them already =(. I’m thinking though that you’ve already ordered/received this mook right?!
~AKB48 Sosenkyo! Mizugi Surprise Happyo 2014 (AKB48 Special Mook) can be ordered @ Cdjapan~ (note: bonus A2 sized poster is no longer available)
And consider the fan friendly price of just 1000 yen which provides maximum cuteness for your buck!
So all 80 top vote getters from this year’s General Election don bikini and just to see the vast array of styles and colors and adorableness built into their scantily laced wardrobes is well worth the price of admission alone and still there’s more!! including: individual member profiles, the girl’s personal comments, nicknames for all (a wonderful way to familiarize yourself~), past rankings so you can see your favorite girl(s) movements through the ranks through the years, an article recapping the General Election held back in June, select acceptance speeches which highlighted the night just in case you’d like to relive them or catch any dialogue you may have missed and interviews from a few whom stir the 48 pot of gold! So there you have it, well over 80 reasons to own this mizugi collectible ^^. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to dream ~* wonderful AngelMayuyu ～♡ dreams……
Thank you~* to Philip for sending me the link about Akarin and how courageous it was of her to speak out about her reasons for her skin condition from which she suffers. I remember when Kamei had a serious skin condition a few years ago which she had been getting treatment for as well and how it really affected her emotionally until she eventually retired from the idol world =(. Likewise Akarin suffers from a condition which causes her skin to have a rough appearance at times and I totally wasn’t aware of it until reading her personal blog entry where she explains how she’s long been having treatments at the hospital as well as with a dermatologist but how it’s been difficult to cure the condition as it always seems to reappear even after days of clearing up. I can’t imagine the inner pain it must be causing her as an idol is constantly in the spotlight and literally in a spotlight whenever on stage, in a photo shoot or making an appearance at a variety program. And with HD all around us I’m so happy that Akarin decided to openly speak about her condition and how she’s even changed her diet drastically but to no avail. Akarin says that her condition affects only her face and that some have thought that she hadn’t been taking care of herself in ways of diet and overall health but to the contrary Akarin is most mindful of her personal health and her skin condition isn’t related in that way. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be as being an idol is essentially not unlike being a model with your appearance always up front and center and the self conscious thoughts which can be hard to overcome with such a condition. It’s sad that some may speak ill of her appearance and really it’s due to ignorance of not knowing what she is going through before writing ill advised comments and really no one should ever write such thoughtless things towards anyone in such a manner as it’s just mean spirited to do so =(. Akarin also speaks of her fan support and how that has helped her through these difficult times and just seeing her ranked at #10 this past election speaks volumes enough of how the consensus of fans adore and love her…..all the best to Akarin and I know you’ll defeat this condition ^^.
