Amuro Namie’s latest maxi~single release “TSUKI” kicks off her 2014 and is presented as a TRIPLE A side with not just the title track but rather all three songs being featured equally as each has been given the keys to a full production of just simply richly mesmerizing visuals in three incredible music videos!!
“TSUKI” is available in a CD + DVD version as well as a stand alone CD version and while both offer a large B2 sized poster extra (see photo, right) for all first pressings, for an additional 600 yen, getting the CD + DVD version is the no brainer one to get!
~Amuro Namie “TSUKI” (mv)~
Imagine Amurochan inhabiting a giant seasonal snow globe which melts away into spring in grand fashion, and here the song “TSUKI” is equally as enchanting in melody and rhythm as Amurochan’s powerful vocals soar and glide throughout a most memorable power~ballad.
~Amuro Namie “Neonlight Lipstick” (mv)~
Now imagine Amurochan meets the world of Narnia with a mystical twist of magical sorcery, a mysterious aura complete with enchanted environments and dark cloaked choreography, and while sure this one’s very high on CGs in its overall makeup the visuals for “Neonlight Lipstick” are nothing short of being purely electric and extraordinary. The vast array of seamlessly and quickly ever altering visuals work perfectly hand in hand with the high up-tempo dance vibe of “Neonlight Lipstick’s” highly electro~pop groove! And while this track may not be as readily catchy I imagine as its predecessor “TSUKI”, nonetheless its one that’ll surely grow on you in time, so in the meantime allow the mysticism of the mv to carry you away~.
~Amuro Namie “Ballerina” (mv)~
And taking the final bows for this maxi is the electro~R&B infused hyper track “Ballerina” and simply put, an all electronically CG’d grid of Amurochan has never looked so seXy good! The track itself while up-tempo and easily dance inviting in a most club~like aura may fair somewhat in comparison to her two prior counterparts, and yet stay for the visual stimulation you must!
