Yajima Maimi’s latest photo book release titled “Garasu to mizu” takes a simplistic approach to presenting the now 21 year old idol beauty in an ambiance of purely natural settings adding to its inspirations ~* the symbolism behind its artistic title which places Maimichan~♥ as the beautiful serenity of glassy~water which over her twenty one years has been dyed by a vast array of colors instilling in her a colorful spectrum all the while keeping those waters pure. In this sense “Garasu to mizu” isn’t quite you’re typical and expected idol photo book as there’s a notable absence of mizugi and even more notable is the very absence of any naughty cameraman idol-‘inspired’ props (Please refer to past photo book articles here where the inevitable banana, sausage, pole, cucumber & etc. like objects make their presence on a regular basis as if required by law =D). So what we have here is Pure, Natural Beauty….the very definition of Maimichan, with landscapes, scenery and wardrobes all keeping in perfect harmony of just what an idol was originally symbolized as, call it old fashioned if you must but I say sweet idolism at its most beautiful. Not that there’s anything wrong with idol sexuality, I’m all for it and well let’s face it if you’ve seen this site at any bit of length then you already know xD…..still it’s nice to see an accomplished idol such as Maimichan @ this stage of her pinnacle idol career being photographed at length just naturally with all shots most suitable for a place in her personal family album, you know photos that she can even without hesitation show to Grandpa & Grandma, Big Bird, Charles Barkley, The View, that Wolf guy on the CNN as well as strangers on the street…although there are most likely a few naughty Grandpas out there I’d imagine? =O “Garasu to mizu” is a soft cover book which measures approximately 10 1/4” x 7 1/4” comes with an outer glossy dust jacket and obi and has standard thick stock~non glossy pages inside.
And so without further ado here’s Maimichan’s♥ latest solo photo book which I’ve gone all scan~happy on once again =D!
