Well summer’s almost over but still one thing’s for sure and that’s that the heat of summer will long linger on even long after summer has past as according to our Hawaii forecast so I’ll be making today NatsuHi as in a Abe Natsumi~day with just a little fun play on words (*≧▽≦)！

So I’ve been re-watching Nacchi’s image~DVD titled “Natsumi” earlier today and then her acoustic concert DVD and thought, hm today’s really literally like a Nacchi ♥ day (Na~tsu~hi :P) and admittedly her ”夏海” DVD is really laid back with not much of anything going on really as it’s rather like a giant version of one of those “making of” DVDs you receive with mostly all Wanibooks shashinshuu releases. Yet any chance to watch Nacchi is a good thing in my book and this “Natsumi” DVD through relaxed images and beautiful scenery all set to instrumental versions of Nacchi’s songs provides some idol R&R time for your mind in a truest sense (*´∀｀*) ♪。

However before getting to my cap~happy recap “version” of her image DVD here I thought I’d set the table with just a couple of Nacchi♥ single favorites I’ve chosen for this post, but first I must mention the middle part of this image DVD where they’ve included an interview portion w/ Nacchi♥ and while most of it is based on the common questions you’d expect to find in what is both a retrospective sense on her career then and her continuing calling to her interests and passions, one of the most interesting questions comes up and it reads…….

Which translates into…..

“Suddenly it’s been decided that for a period of one year you’ll live on a uninhabited isle location, if you had just one Hello! Project member you could choose as your sole companion to live with you there….whom would you choose?”

This is such a fun question to pose upon anyone I think and just in terms of idols♥ and whom would you choose if there wasn’t any group stipulation set and you could pick anyone to spend that 1 year with totally alone….really totally alone :O I wonder whom you there reading would choose??

After getting a fun kick and laugh out of this question, Nacchi♥ (♥!♥!♥! her reaction) after only a bit of thought picks none other than fellow ex~H!P’s RedBull energy drink spokesperson and model~*…..

..that of course being the incomparable Kohachan♥!! And wait till you hear Nacchi’s explanation (in the video posted above) of why she chose her with such ease and I think most will agree that if you needed to spend a long time period like a year in total isolation upon an island with just one person to keep you company and most importantly happy~*~~*!!!….that person could very well be Kohachan♥ as you know there’ll never be a dull or downer of a day at any time and the days may even go by quite quickly as you spend alone time with one of earth’s most wonderfully hyper and genki girls ever created by God =)! I mean there wouldn’t be any stress….and always lots and lots of energy and of course she’s uber~cute♥!! and would make the perfect companion too I believe, and being that there’d just be the two of you on this island you’d so much need all of that~♥ for the long haul ahead!

Now if you were able to widen that choice to any idol male or female could you decide so easily? And whom would you end up spending that year with on a uninhabited island alone?? I think it’s such a funny hypothetical question to ponder and I’m sure many of you have your choices coming to mind quickly or maybe it’s between one or two possibilities or maybe you even have a list all made out and it’s giving you the most difficult time deciding (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ？？、．．please share your one choice if you’re able to decide as I’d love to hear whom other idol♥fans would decide on =). Well if it hypothetically could be any idol♥ I’d choose AKB48’s Yuko♥ of course without hesitating!!!! However in keeping with the Nacchi/ Hello! Project theme then it’d surely be Kamei, that being that any H!P member past or present is available to choose in this hypothetical scenario.  I mean you may think that having a guy~idol there would be possibly better for companionship but then what if you became pregnant and since it’s a deserted island that would pose dire consequences (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ．．．so I think a guy in this situation wouldn’t work too well after awhile and if you both did that* which would be something to do* especially on an island with nothing else to do lol that would be a major temptation so I’d need to avoid the possibility totally 100% xD. And with Yuko♥ I’d have compassion, warm friendship, humor, humility and cute times a million all rolled into Yuko♥  just being there for that 1 year. Oh, and if we still got lonely I’m hoping, I mean thinking that kissing wouldn’t be out of the question either with her and there’d be no possibility of either of us becoming pregnant even if we tried and so now I’ve shared too many hypothetical thoughts it seems．．．(*´艸`)！Seriously though if you spent 1 year with just one person all alone on an isolated island wouldn’t you become just a tad bit curious too about your one~and~only companion even if it were a bit taboo =)?

And now for the pair of Nacchi songs which are most favorites of mine which I thought would accompany well her beautiful images here. Remember when H!P would include thick~glossy trading cards with their first press single releases?

Such an uplifting and happy melody with such a great ska groovy~ness about it! Nacchi’s vocal tones just perfect too throughout, definitely one of my top H!P songs overall and one of Nacchi’s very best!

~Abe Natsumi “sora LIFE GOES ON” (interview & music video)~

It’s notable that “sora LIFE GOES ON” is actually the b~side to the title track “Yume naraba” and therefore wasn’t given a proper music video to begin with as it’s nowhere to be found on Nacchi’s “Yume naraba” pv DVD single, so I’ve found this music video to be quite special as it wasn’t officially released at the time of the single’s launch. And while “Yume naraba” is most catchy and wonderful in itself, I’ve always had a bit more of a fondness for this coupling with track “sora LIFE GOES ON”, just a perfect ballad in all regards.

This particular video always amuses me as it’s like the director had instructed Nacchi to refrain from mouthing the song’s lyrics until Nacchi just couldn’t stand not to sing along and so, sing she does =). The clip opens first with a brief interview with Nacchi’s thoughts on this special song.
