So just yesterday my copy of Paruru’s first photo book arrived and while scanning today I couldn’t help but imagine of all the photos of her recent past which the majority of them in many ways cumulatively add up to this book’s somewhat odd title, that being “Paruru Komaru。” (Paruru is troubled/worried). You see from just about every single photo shoot which I own in various publications Paruru for the most part has an aura/ expressions of melancholy or could it be truly be as this title states? That Paruru is worried?! She seems to have a natural or really wanted knack to show much more subdued or somber expressions or even no expression at all at times so with all seriousness aside…and well in any case if you’ve seen too, an extensive amount of more recently shot Paruru photos then perhaps you may be able to attest to whether these current expressions of Paruru are:
a) Paruru has just eaten something really sour.
b) Paruru thinks you’re a stalker and is ‘reacting’ to you.
c) Something (someone) smells.
a ‘possibility’ of what I think is much more ‘plausible’ in explaining Paruru’s expressions,
d) Paruru is trying to figure out a difficult math equation….
So I guess the correct answer’s are b, c and d =D!!~!
Okay all silliness aside, “Paruru, Komaru” is a standard sized shashinshuu, it’s soft cover with an outer dust jacket, includes a randomly inserted two~sided giant poster (my copy included her Fukuoka version) and what makes this photo book extra special well besides it being Paruru’s 1st is that the various photo shoots within take Paruru on a visiting tour of her fellow and home AKB family of group’s various venues around Japan! She visits first Fukuoka the home of HKT48, then Sapporo where she takes photos at an official AKB48 shop, then Osaka the home of NMB48, then it’s off to Nagoya the home of SKE48 and lastly she ends in Tokyo which is of course the mother ship’s home aka where it all began with the home of AKB48 in Akihabara. Paruru also is photographed at each group’s theater along the way along with a few famous landmarks and also appearing as special guests are Yokoyama Yui as well as fellow Melonpan Alliance member Matsui Rena who appears here w/? yes…melonpan～♡.
Paruru’s many wardrobes include casual wear to stylish to intimate outfits as well as lots of mizugi you know in case you’re into that sort of thing =P along with of course her numerous expressions of (please see exhibit 1 above) oh and there are a few smiles too ＾＾。
(note: my scanner’s been acting a bit strangely lately creating it’s own off shades in some pictures I scan, not really sure why as it seems to be a random thing it’s doing)
And here below are the true covers front and back which are hiding under the outer dust jacket:
