When it comes to limited editions I tend to gravitate towards the editions I find the most collectible and while pondering SCANDAL’s  latest album during the pre~order stage it was an easy decision to go with their LE booklet version as DVD extras obviously fair in comparison as you simply cannot download a photo book and this one being a hard cover edition and full sized makes that even that much more enticing~♥!! If you follow any of SCANDAL’s pictorial blog adventures then you surely know of their wonderfully fun and energetic personas and with that this special photo book captures both SCANDAL in that candid state (all through their recent big Japan tour!) as well as some very striking and sexy~cool photo shoots going from the hot musician look to well….some very awesome “Pinheel Surfer” pics!!!

To say I’ve been unlucky with giveaways would be a gross understatement so receiving this notice from Cdjapan included with a recent order with SCANDAL’s new album was a big turn of luck~* for me!

And to win their playing cards!! They are sooooo cool!!!! The SCANDAL logo adorns their backings while the four Queens are most well represented by each band member beautifully!!! It’ll be a fun deck to play with…well that is if I’m daring enough to allow them any wear =P! Equally collectible as the hard cover photo booklet album packaging of “QUEENS ARE TRUMPS” these playing cards were so unexpected as I’d totally forgotten that there was a giveaway involving this release so what a surprise~* as I had pre~ordered them quite awhile ago.

SCANDAL, I think still the coolest and most impressive~musician oriented all female Japanese rock band since Princess Princess and I love that this album isn’t single~dominated as there are so many new songs here!! Love the entire album top to bottom but I particularly have a soft spot for “Bright” and “HARUKAZE”…♥!

Huh who knew? The birth of SCANDAL and you just know how difficult it is to find a great drummer these dAYS! This is great! And now we know where Rina ‘truly’ was discovered!!

Produced very much like Princess Princess’ “The Platinum Days” tour documentary, SCANDAL’s 2011 Japan tour goes behind the scenes giving fans a seldom seen look into the touring life and much of what it entails…of course the girls have a great time always~♥!

I still may lean towards SCANDAL’s previous album “Baby Action” for song favorites, one thing’s for sure though that the Baby Action photo shoot remains as one of their very best!!!! The styling, colors, lighting, wardrobes, poses….just everything here so so perfect!

And how hot are SCANDAL here?
