You know I’ve never understood the infatuation of bondage, I think I’d be pretty upset if a guy tied me up XD. Forgot about that figure =O….it’s very interesting that such a figure exists =O! Funny thing with the idol’s bondage going on here as without it she’d be totally naked there, so for her I’d say that the bondage is a good thing lol=P.

Tying people up is not my idea of a good time either! I just liked the way she was just about concealed by the strips of cloth. Do you think the Japanese interest in tying people up is related to Bonsai and foot binding: making beauty by controlling the growth or movement of something.

Oh foot binding is awful, I saw some photos from China where they’d done that too to little girls and I don’t get how that’s supposed to be attractive at all..looks rather odd =/. Hmm….I’m thinking it rather to be a fetish from the minds of men as I really know of no girl friends whom ever wanted to be tied up by their boyfriends XD. It’d be so awkward like you’d be needing to constantly say things like…..don’t do that….stop that…..that’s ticklish….untie me now lol =P.

…But the doll is very odd indeed! It must have been very, very expensive, too. The everyday anime figures are costly enough. It’s usually otaku who buy them, isn’t it?

And the fact that they felt the need to limit this particular figure to one per customer cracks me up too, like um…..I guess there was a high demand for these back then I wonder =O? U~n I believe so and I wonder if an otaku would then have bought one to keep sealed and dare I say one to ‘play’ with =P.

I do wonder what a person would actually ‘do’ with such a figure. I don’t suppose otaku don’t get out much, so don’t make house calls to view each other’s latest purchases. I saw a clip of the opening of an anime convention: thousands of excited otaku sprinting towards the various stands selling figures so that they could grab the goodies.

Wow that’d be fun to witness in person but I’d stay far away in the distance as to not get trampled XD…..I know some guys here whom are actually grown men and they go absolutely bonkers for ‘rare’ Hot Wheels’…it’s really a big collector’s thing for some! One of my friends at work actually knew someone working at a Walmart and they tipped him about a new shipment which was supposed to have like one rare car per case or something like that ratio and anyway he actually told me that he wasn’t alone when the stock began to hit the floor as he had to literally run in order to reach the cars before anyone else did =O……I was speechless =O.

Cars, trains, airplanes, soldiers… It amazes me that my sex retains such a passion for toys! I can sort of understand nostalgia for toys associated with your childhood, but not with model collecting. Books, CDs and vinyl are different, though. It’s okay to stockpile those and go crazy over a new release, however old you are and whichever sex… Years ago I had a friend whose foster parents were collecting an edition of seasonal china plates that were released annually. Each had a giant letter on it and eventually would spell CHRISTMAS when mounted on the wall. When I saw it they’d got as far as ‘Christ’, which meant that the year before, for an entire year, they had the name CHRIS over the fireplace.
