Just received Nacchi’s new shashinshuu yesterday!..and I didn’t quite know what to expect as Nacchi’s been out of the spotlight for some time now after graduating from Hello! Project and more or less the idol world as well. At 3300 yen “Subway” is a bit more pricey than the averaged price photo book but it’s most most definitely gorgeous and worth it :). With New York as one of the most iconic and scenic cities in the world playing backdrop, Nacchi’s beautiful maturity shows this great city quite a few new curves which aren’t domestic and the whole of “Subway” is shot in a rather morning~day~and night day~in~a~life type of fashion giving her latest pb a wonderfully warm and vibrant touch. “Subway” is also printed on non~glossy paper stock which isn’t the norm for idol shashinshuu and it further adds a naturalism and feel and aura to the photography itself.
And again speaking of Nacchi’s beautiful curves…
~Abe Natsumi “Subway” (making of)~
The making of runs just over 11 minutes, enjoy Nacchi in New York accompanied by the sweet sounds of traditional jazz with the touch~* of a Wes Montgomery like vibe.

I ended up scanning Nacchi’s book using two different settings depending largely on the type of lighting used in each individual photograph, I wonder if you can tell one method from the other?
