Airiin’s♥ latest shashinshuu “Kono kaze ga suki” comes alive with the beautifully scenic views of Japan’s far south western district of Kyushu and the photographs herein take full advantage of showing a much more traditional light of Japanese architecture which sometimes can get lost in modernization~.
“Kono kaze ga suki” also stands apart from many other pbs in that it was primarily shot with a most casual and everyday appeal in the various wardrobes worn by Airiin throughout creating a very warm~♥ feel…still the constant theme of seifuku and school may be its best selling point in terms of trends and popularity in the culture of photo books of late and of its enduring appeal in itself. The pb also includes a making of DVD with a running time of just over 18 minutes and a funny habit of mines always comes out whenever I receive a new pb in that I always ~always check under the outer dust jacket to see if there are more images on the fronts and backs of the actual covers. In the past there’ve been candid images or gatefold styled ones which stretch from end to end of both covers in a singular image while still others have ‘hidden’ pictorial gems underneath which actually could very well stand as the pb’s actual outer cover images, such is “Kono kaze ga suki” with a front bordered in white a most pretty and stoic image of Airiin while the back side shows off a tiny collage showcasing Kyushu above else.
~Actual front and back covers~
When removing the outer dust jacket you will find these…front and then back respectfully.
