「Featured post」~Fuzzy memories…”SmapxSmap, the one where Kimutaku is Furuhata Ninzaburo”

Looking back into the vaults (aka: my olllllllllllld VHS =P) we’ll take a look @ some fuzzy moments~* via a VHS~~>Digital transfer over the coming weeks and there’s something definitely warm and fuzzy about these…the fuzzy coming from some of these clips being 2nd or 3rd generation+ VHS dubbed transfers originating @ our local Japan rental shop of yesteryear all prior to the digital age =P.

If  you know the series “Furuhata Ninzaburo (was a top rated show in Japan) and you’ve ever watched the drama series “Hitotsu yane no shita” this’ll be mega~funny…(^q^)! And Kimutaku is uncanny~* here…how he captures the acting tendencies of one Tamura Masakazu also a most popular and accomplished actor in Japan. Not only does Kimutaku vocalize to a tee Tamura~san’s voice and all of his speaking nuances from his odd pauses and elongated vowels but he also emulates his posture and idiosyncrasies like how he often taps at his forehead while in thought~….plus check out the hair!!!!!! as the hair itself is a character here =D!! In a nutshell the character Tamura~san plays is Japan’s answer to America’s “Columbo” character made famous by Peter Faulk and in this special SmapxSmap skit the premise for the murder/mystery is set in an endearing drama of the 90’s in “Hitotsu yane no shita” creating a most hilarious merging of shows into one. As a major guest star Eguchi Yosuke reprises his role as Kashiwagi Tatsuya and it’s so funny that he be caught up with such bad intentions as his role in “Hitotsu yane no shita” is nothing but loving and caring for his family…a guy who’ll give you the shirt off of his back even if it were the only thing he possesses to keep another warm. An awesome surprise awaits at the very ending too as a totally caught off guard Tsuyoshi..well the look on his face says it all =O!! I’ll just say that the iconic drama theme song by Tulip titled “Saboten no hana” which is ingeniously incorporated into just about anything imaginable here in this skit comes to fruition and keep watch for Tsuyoshi’s reaction each and every time he hears this song throughout the skit…it’ll crack you up totally (*≧▽≦)！

Tamura Masakazu

So Kimutaku (as Furuhata) takes on this case set in “Hitotsu yane no shita’s” world albeit an upside down alternate universe world and at his side is fellow group member Tsuyoshi who’s playing his bumbling detective assistant with some um….hair issues which Furuhata isn’t fooled by one bit =P….and like all of the best mystery/who done it? series you are witness to a premise and the crime and then our detective steps in…..

Still one of the funniest and wittiest SmapxSmap parodies…I hope it cracks you up too, enjoy (。ーωー。)笑．．．
