I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to respond to any comments today as I spent the most of this afternoon choosing and scanning photos from Momo & Rii’s latest shashinshuus. I usually don’t scan my own pbs due to the fear of damaging their spines but these 2 shashinshuus are soft cover releases so it was a bit easier to bear! Please review the 52 scans and then choose your Berry! Voting will end on April 7th…(edit: the poll will now end on April 20th at midnight.)
Is it just me or does it appear that Momo has already found the fountain of youth?….She somehow just keeps looking younger and younger! :O…and it’s amazing to think that Rii’s actually 2 years younger than she is although she doesn’t look it! I can’t wait to see the special extended making of DVDs for their 2 latest shashinshuus which will be released soon! ^-^

Phew, managed to press the stop button before all the images loaded in lol, want to try and keep them as a surprise when they arrive. For me I think these PB releases will swing me to a favourite. Hopefully my PBs will arrive before the voting finishes.

Momoko!I still haven't seen her new PB, but I watched the making of yesterday. I can't take screenshots of it for some reason though, and I didn't bother looking into it since it's only with that video. It's one of the most adorable things ever ❤ the other one being Konkon's "See you again" making of. Actually, ignoring my bias for Konno, I can't choose between the two of them.My favorite moment is, well, every time she's filmed running. I remember you said in a H!P Sports Festival post that she has the most cute way of running ever, and yeah, it's great <3Hum… So Rii is younger than Momo? I'd never guess that… I'd exchange their ages for sure. For me it's like:Beauty = Rii > MomoCuteness = Momo > Riialthough they're very high on both of them anyway… But as I was saying, the impression I get is that Momo is the younger one…

They made it so hard for me! Both Momo and Risako's new releases totally trumped their earlier ones for me, they both are maturing so wonderfully and they seem more relaxed and natural…its not an easy choice..

In the end I voted for Momo for the scan0060 and also for 0029-1 and 0032-1. They're all so great but the first one I love.
And also Momo's photo book has a brilliant cover! That's alone worth a vote. 🙂

Ah! Sorry! I seemed to have scanned a substantial amount of their pbs! 😛 Earlier today Rii was ahead but now Momo has come back with a vengeance and has taken over the lead. I hope that your shashinshuus arrive soon so that you can vote too. I could always extend it…let me know! 🙂

Ah the special extended making of DVDs which are being released later for both Momo & Risakochan I anticipate will be ultra cute too! Hmmm…it is a difficult choice between them and I really had to try hard to base my choice on these shashinshuus rather than favorite member which is easier said than done. 😛 You have a really great memory!! You remember me mentioning her running in the most recent Sports Festival! ^-^ It's almost like she runs more like a girl than a girl actually does if that makes any sense at all. 😛 I had to keep rewinding it as it made me smile so much…too cute really! She was also amazing on the horse leap thingie…I actually don't know what it's proper name is..as it kept getting higher and as little as she is, she kept clearing it! ^-^ I totally agree with your beauty vs. cuteness analysis on them! Strange…somehow Rii's looking much more mature for her age while her senpai Momo is looking even younger if that's possible. Thank you for voting! Rii really was ahead by quite a lot early on but when I got home today Momo has since taken over!

I find that they really can be separated in terms of beauty and cuteness as they each have their personal strengths. Ah I'm so happy that you were able to decide based on their latest shashinshuus versus a favorite member approach. I know just how difficult that can be! It was quite a landslide victory when you approached it this way! I love the…'she doesn't look creepy anymore' comment! It's so ironic that despite being older, Momo looks much younger and perhaps doesn't convey a 'sexy' look as well as Risakochan does. I hope this doesn't hurt Risakochan's place in your heart though! She fought so hard to gain your affection! ^-^ That's a great question…Momo's appearance in a few years…as she seems to have found the fountain of youth even if she doesn't need it! Risakochan just keeps looking more and more model like it seems! Right now Momo is holding onto about a 4% lead!…but earlier Rii was ahead by quite a lot!

Seeing Risako ride around on a mini bike in such a cute way (she could be in Buono XD) she definetly redeemed herself 😀 I think Risako has finally reached the age when she is starting to look more "sexy" than "creepy"…I think she was too "forced" looking before and it just didn't suit her. She still has an akwardness which I'm sure mostly comes from her age, which is very hard for girls in general, but I think we will have even greater things to come when she finally does! hmm….Maybe a release like Sayu's Sousou…I can really see her portraying that kind of cute-sexy image.. I think Momo could really turn out in any way…I'm curious to see if her voice stays as high pitched as she matures…I can see her with Nono or Aibon's image, but she could really become anything…I don't find it hard to imagine her Nacchi-like when she gets older aswell 😀 (Which says good things for her since Nacchi is a running favourite of mine :P) My friend suggested that she would become like Yui one day XD I don't know if that image is "physically" possible… haha (sorry for my lengthy speculating… I have to be careful not to jinx it :O)

I hope that the photos helped to bring out some of their individual personalities but I understand that it can be difficult without you knowing much else about them right now. But at the same time this really caused you to base your vote solely on their shashinshuu photos! Haha I was totally clueless that that was what you were intending with the large space there! 😛 Sorry I just scrolled down thinking…eh?…and then saw the scan number. 😛 Hmmm…but if I had guessed ahead of time I would have been wrong!

(Imagines Rii in Buono!…..) I think you've just created H!P's version of a super hero group! Not only would they…mmm…fight against evil but they also would become arguably the greatest H!P unit ever! ^-^ Add in Kamei and the Legion of Doom is in big trouble!!! 😛 In a way Risakochan is developing much quicker than even nature intended I think and most of that's probably due to the way that she's been marketed in Berryz Koubou as well as her pbs. I can't even imagine what she's going to be like in 4 years. I love the Nacchi notion with Momo in mind and it'd be great if she matured into that kind of personality! You can really just tell that she's genuinely kind and if she turns out to be anything like Nacchi I'd be so happy too! I do wonder about her voice too! I just love her current "anime" voice but as she gets older surely it'll change…I ummm think! 'Yuichan'?…hmmm physically probably not possible but I don't view that as being positive or negative…just different and actually I can't imagine her developing that way! :O

She's really something! Did you see the picture that focused on her boobs?! I'm sure it was just that the camera's auto "Eye focus" mode went wacky… Or perhaps the "first object" focus mode was set… ^^I was thinking that you could one day make custom videos like this one from VH1's Pop Goes The Music?! 🙂 That would be so cute for H!P videos and all the insider things you could put it there. <Imagines MB having that planted in her brain for future blooming>

Ah actually it's Gocchin and she like other idols have several including Gomaki which always makes me think of sushi! 😛 She was called this in her earlier days in Momusu but I still like using it sometimes…because….mm..it sounds like sushi! 😛 They're usually just cute combinations and shortened forms of their names but sometimes there are specific sounds used. Fukada Kyoko is often called Fukakyon…Matsumoto Jun..Matsujun….Kimura Takuya…Kimutaku and it goes on and on and on! (looks around…) What is a 'peep?' One of those questions that you really don't want to ask anyone. Maybe and just maybe it's a good thing that I wasn't aware in time of where they would be having dinner because…well just imagine what a fan might do in that situation….hmm…especially if they're……….um "slightly" obsessed! 😛

Best subtitle editor would be IMO Aegisub, no matter what OS you're using. After that, if you want to make a hardsubbed video (embed the subtitles permanently on the video), I'd recommend VirtualDub with the "subtitler" plugin.However, if all you're going to do is make a translation and leave the rest of the subtitle editing for other people (say, you're working only as translator in a fansubber group), you just have to open notepad and type each translated sentence in a different line. Then whoever it is that's going to time and edit the subtitles later can import this text file in an editor like Aegisub and finish the job.

Thank you for the great response! I will definitely be saving this information for future use. Now all we have to do is coerce, um I mean encourage ^^, MB to do some translations, (perhaps in collaboration with others?) with all the great source material she has! I really admire the peeps that take the time to do this, and make what they love more accessible to the world! 🙂

I still haven't had a chance to go through the PBs properly, I was planning on doing it tonight, but with the Aibon interview up I just haven't had time, I'll get a chance tomorrow, I don't know if you can extend the vote another day or not? Although I don't know if one vote will make a difference, lol.It's still a tough choice…Momo/Risako…argh! they're both so great!

Thanks for extending the vote, it was a tough one but I had sit down and flick through both PBs and I have to say Risako just came out on top, I'll try and post about both the PBs later tonight on my blog.

Paul your vote as well as some others recently has pulled Risakochan to within just 4.3%! She hasn't been this close in quite awhile and this may just come down to the very end of voting!
