Hello! Project household items soon to fill our homes! :)

A little over a week ago Paul at Hello!Blog posted this link to the official Hello! Project shop where they're selling individual member glass & coaster sets! He playfully imagined what it would be like to someday grab your Sayu mug and get a beverage out of your Risakochan refrigerator… 😀 I'm thinking that I would first power up my Aichan computer while my Kamei stove heats up some Reinachan green tea while my Jun Jun mp3 player fills the room with the latest J-Pop and let's not forget to place our Nacchi cell phone on its Maimai recharger so that it's ready for the next day! 🙂

Well while that scenario may be far fetched and unimaginable, what is available as a first step towards building your own H!P household are some very nice sets of drinking glasses! The glasses are quite stylish and very well made and also include a beautifully designed coaster and a member photograph. Available sets include every member of Momusu, Berryz Koubou, C-ute, and also solo members Nacchi, Gocchin, Ayaya, & Mikitty! Even while on hiatus Mikitty lovingly gets a set too! 🙂

I narrowed it down to six choices and while Nacchi was currently out of stock, Ohta was able to order for me the glass & coaster sets of members Koharuchan, Jun Jun, Sayu, Risakochan, & Maimichan and they arrived quite quickly at his home and he had them sent out right away having me come home today to a well protected package containing all 5 available sets that I had ordered! All of the glasses bear the group or member's name along with an identical design which differ in color depending on group or member chosen and are accompanied with a sturdy well made rubber coaster which matches in color. The more I look at the globe design the more I begin to think it looks like a soccer ball. 😛 Hmmm…perhaps some Gatas glass & coaster sets should be on the way as well! That way you can start your morning off right by pouring some orange juice into your Manoeri glass while some toast is prepared in your brand new Momo toaster! 🙂

Here's a closer look at the Berryz Koubou design and I apologize for the obscured image on the glass caused by my poor photography skills or should I say lack of it. 😛 The photographs that are included with these sets give you a time line of when these were released as the member's outfits clearly reflect that. The following are scans of the five photos that I received with these glass & coaster sets. Kohachan (I find this photo of her to be completely dazzling!), Jun Jun, & Sayu are radiant in their "Onna ni sachi are" attire (love the eye makeup!), while Risakochan is as adorable as ever adorning her 4th album outfit, and Maimichan!…is it possible for an idol to have more perfect looks than her!

  3. I like the glass sets! -Although I'd probably not use them. -They're collectables, right?
Now that you pointed it out, it does look like a soccer ball design…
The Berryz Koubou glass should be an extra special collectable because it appears to be misspelled on the coaster. (Kobo)
Tell me when there's a Kamei bottle opener!

And your huge collection grows……These glass sets are great! I would love to have one, but at the same time, I don't think I would use it. Its a collectible though, right? The pictures that came along with the glasses are all great, too! I really like Koharu's eye-makeup!

I was wondering if you was going to order some of these, they look great! Can you resist the temptation to use them? I know I probably couldn't.I really like Sayu's photo, her look and eyes look amazing.

  6. Thank you Radicalpatriot! Hmmm…now I seem to be faced with the dilemma of whether to use one of them or not. It'd be nice at it would instantly become my favorite glass in the house. 🙂

  7. sitiko they really do like they should be kept in an unused state for a collection but I find myself more and more wanting to use just one! If I had lots of these the decision would be a lot easier to make! Hmmm…

  8. momo when I sent this request to Ohta he responded with a very reasonable price of $27.50 per set. The shipping may be a little costly though due to their fragile state and the extra precautions needed to ship these overseas. I'm not really sure how much it'll cost to ship a single set though. I imagine it'll be a Sayu set for you! 🙂

  9. Dark Knightingale hmmm…maybe you can help me decide. I was thinking since the 3 Morning Musume glasses are identical that perhaps I'd use just one of them. When it comes to collectibles I never use them except for the t-shirts which I think just need to get outdoors! 🙂 But this is a tough decision to make…I'm thinking just one would be okay! I think I'd use it every day! The "kobo" spelling is a tricky one as the Japanese sometimes abbreviate spellings of their own language when used in merchandise or titles. It's phonetically incorrect as it should be "koubou" with the extended intonation but they sometimes overlook this…I'm thinking for aesthetic purposes as it may just look nicer. Another good example is the name "Yuko" which is normally pronounced as "Yuuko" but as it may look "strange" to some they usually just write it with one "u." It's really a wacky thing! If they ever release a Kamei bottle opener I'm buying one for you too! 🙂

  10. Hotaru I'm ever so close to using one of them! 😛 Since the 3 Morning Musume glasses are identical I'm trying to convince myself that it's okay to use just one of them. But then again they really should remain immaculate…ah still contemplating… The dark eye makeup really accentuates their eyes and it worked so well for their "Onna ni sachi are" release! In this photo Koharuchan has the look of an Egyptian princess!

  11. Thanks for sending the link to these glasses Paul! Otherwise I would have never knew about them. Resisting the temptation to use just one of them has been on my mind all day! 😛 I'm still not sure but I'm thinking since the Morning Musume glasses are identical that using just one would be okay! If I put them all on the shelf this very thought would cross my mind every day when I see them. Sayu's photo really is stunning! The makeup artists really created such a powerful look for them with the "Onna ni sachi are" release!

  12. Well personally, I would have had to purchase one extra so I could use it… But, thinking like that would really make collecting expensive!!!!
    🙂
Since you have 3 identical glasses, by all means use one, or even two if you should have a guest over! -But never open the third one!!!
Please forgive my cultural and language ignorance! I appreciate you taking the time to explain when I don't understand something! -It helps me learn!
I was just thinking that, if it's spelled "Koubou" on one item, I would think it would be the same on all of their things. This difference in spelling is really strange to me!
🙂 -Yes, T-Shirts are meant to be seen!!!
heh heh heh Speaking of "if they ever release…" -You had talked about the "Kamei stove", and I began to envision other kitchen products that would be cool to see! They could mold a small figurine of Kamei, for the handle of the bottle opener, rather than just putting a picture of her on it! -I think that would make for a nicer bottle opener, eh?

  13. Thank you DK now I feel better about using one of them! 🙂 If a guest came over that was a big fan of theirs then I'd certainly be tempted to use another one but I'm going to keep to just one for now. This strange spelling that occurs sometimes when it comes to double vowels really wouldn't be known unless a person is following the kanji's (chinese character) phonetic spelling and their technically really spelling it wrong there writing "kobo" so you're absolutely right as it should be "koubou" (factory). "Berryz Factory." Ah now you've got me really wishing that such a thing existed! 🙂

Yeah, I'd like one! -If only…
Chinese charactors (writing) is just beautiful looking! -As long as it would take me to learn how to read them, it would take me even longer to write them, or I should say draw them properly!
-I'm kinda "factory oriented". -All others seem to come across as a "knock-off", that's the only reason I even thought of the different spellings.

I love the pictures! ~~I really like how they've toned up the makeup for the Momusu members, they look so mature and it really shows how they've grown up!
—-also, I 'm looking forward to more pictures of mittsi's new-found short hair! Since I saw her in the 10th anniversary collection photos I thought she would suit short hair better!

  16. I"ve just washed one of the Momusu glasses and will use it for the first time today. It's funny as I've never been so careful with a glass before! 😛 The whole make-up style for their "Onna ni sachi are" release was done so well and it really accents everyone's eyes! Ah the first time I noticed Mittsii's shorter hairstyle was on HM@ recently and it really does look great on her.
