Well actually this is Berryz Koubou's first black t-shirt and when I first saw these new Summer concert shirts I knew that I had to get one! For the simple reason that it's black!! This has long been one of my favorite colors and to think that H!P now has a black shirt in their collection is really a change from the bright colors that their members usually adorn. Not just black!! Black with gold!! Somehow in the member pictures which came with this shirt the gold print on their t-shirts look a bit more yellow golden while the print on the actual shirt is more of a true gold color. Also included with this set is a wristband and I've been stacking them up in my room and soon I'll have enough for the entire Davis Cup team! These wristbands are really well made and the designs on them are always meticulously embroidered. This one reads: "Welcome! Berryz Kyuuden Berryz Kobo Concert Tour 2007 Summer" on a baby blue Arabian kingdom design set against a canary yellow background.
I'm now trying to imagine Berryz Koubou singing AC/DC's classic rock anthem "Back in Black"…………………………still trying to imagine it………………………………..it's not really happening…but wouldn't that be both bizarre and great at the same time?! (Tries to imagine Momo singing in a tough voice……..) Still trying. Heheh I think they should do a cover version of this song. Rock fans everywhere would be like…what the?! :O And just imagine how great a Berryz Koubou "Back in Black" PV would be. They could shoot the entire thing on a stage with huge Marshall amplifier stacks and tons of fog and lighting effects! It would be the strangest meeting of two different worlds and just as the song ends Momo "the animal" Tsugunaga could set her cherry Gibson SG on fire!!!! Whoa okay that'd be a bit too much. But I think the rest of it would rock!
There's been a slight change in my Berryz Koubou member ranking recently as Chinamichan has moved up to the fourth spot but other than that everything's the same as Risakochan still ranks supreme.
And for some reason this t-shirt seems to be thicker than my other H!P shirts. And that's a good thing since I'll be wearing this one quite a lot and it needs to be able to stand up to the rigors of the dreaded washing machine!
