The figures are growing.

Check out this Sephiroth figure! It's 1/4 scale! :O It can be preordered for only 47,000 yen or about $384.00. Heheh that's crazy. I'm waiting for the life size Sephiroth to be released. It might cost only $5000.00. If you want his sword throw in an extra $1500.00. LOL. 😛

  1. Wish I was rich…!
I DO like the look of swords! -They're COOL!!! I have a replica of Connor Mc Clouds "Highlander" sword, but the handle broke off. (-Hate it when that happens)
-Should have taken better care of it, eh?
    I'd love a sword collection someday…

How may figurines do you posses?

  3. Dark Knightingale my strange humor may have been misunderstood. I was kidding about a life size figure and no way can I afford something like that even if it were real. I'm thinking though if there were a life size Sephiroth would it be worth $6500? For that kind of money he better do something…then again if he did something that would be creepy…well unless he helped clean the house and never took the sword out. lol. Okay that just sounds strange.

  4. xmangerm I have a little over a 100 of them and actually that's not that many as I've seen some people who have huge display cases filled up. I just ordered 2 more which will arrive in early October. 🙂

I went to a Anime Convention a couple of weeks ago in London and there was a stall selling replica swords, although they didn't have any FF ones they had a Thundercats one, which I was really tempted to get…well until I saw the quality of it and the Eye of Thundera looked like it was drawn by a 5 year old.The other great thing was the people dressed up, I don't think you'll ever catch me doing any Cosplay, for some reason unless you that Japanese look, I just don't think you can pull it off and look cool. There was a guy dressed up as Sephiroth he'd obviously spent a lot of time doing the costume…and figuring out poses for the camera when people asked him…but I couldn't help but sit back and smirk. That's quite a lot of figures, I have quite a few Capsule Toys and slightly larger models, but no where near as many as you have. I seem to remember a while back a life size Lara Croft figure going up on sale on eBay, i think it went for something like $1500, but then it did look really bad, I seem to remember Virgin Megastore on Tottenham Court Road in London selling their one as well, but I can't remember how much that went for, so who knows, a life size Sephiroth figure may not be so far fetched.

  6. No, no, no… I got your joke, I was just laughing inside!
I do have a little thing for swords 'tho. -They just look COOL!!!

  7. Paul that's awesome that there was an anime convention in the UK! "like it was drawn by a 5 year old" LOL! That's funny that a guy dressed up as Sephiroth. I wish you had some pictures! A life size Lara Croft! I think that a life size Angelina Jolie would be better. How about the real Angelina? She is perfection. Everytime I see her I wonder how can someone be this beautiful! That's why she was the perfect Lara Croft. A video game character with such looks and proportions that it can only be make believe…well unless you cast Angelina! Heheh. Too bad the figure didn't look too good. Maybe if the figure were made in Japan. I kid! Sorry no offense to figure makers everywhere else. 🙂

  8. Dark Knightingale I'm glad that I wasn't a complete goof there! A sword collection would be great! I'd like a Sasaki Kojiro replica. An incredibly long sword. How he was able to wield it is incredible. A friend of mine got a real Japanese sword from somewhere here in Hawaii. I'm a bit confused though as I thought that it was illegal to take these out of Japan. Maybe I've been misinformed all this time. One thing about these real swords is that they're incredibly heavy. When you see a guy in a movie swinging it around with one hand like it weighed 1 pound it sometimes makes me smile. But don't get me wrong I love samurai movies and the fight choreography has to be great! I'm not looking for realism as great entertainment is far more important in this regard. Plus if the swords were the real weight the actors/actresses would have very sore arms. 🙂

  9. No, no, no. I don't think you were a goof.
OMG! Sooo many swords I'd LOVE to have, just because the craftmanship is so incredible!!! I can't even begin to list the many swords I'd love to have hanging on my walls… Man, I need a better paying job…. Sooo much stuff I'd love to have!!!
I'm sure that the sword stunts you see in the movies are done with light props, as all GOOD swords are indeed very heavy. -Doesn't matter. I love good sword-fighting scenes anyways, and yeah, the actor's arms would be either very sore, or very strong!
I've never heard of people having any major difficulties getting swords
