Yuna

The Final Fantasy series on the Playstation systems is one of my favorite games. I also like to collect the figures from each series. Unlike a true collector I like to take them out of the box and display them. My thinking is that since I never intend to sell them why keep them in the box. That makes me a collector's nightmare I guess. Heheh! This is Yuna from FFX and FFX-1 which was the first sequel that they did in the series. On the left is summoner Yuna while on the right is Yuna gone wild! These figures are the Japanese import versions and I love the detail that is put into them. Hmmmm…I think I have to go with the Yuna gone wild figure. What a cute outfit! 🙂

すげえ~。I'm not only looking at the figures but the rest of the stuff behind it. Insanity, yo. Even more insane would be 1/1 figures… although i would question the intentions of owner of said figure.
I have my meccha hawaii figures standing wherever i have room for them >_<

I've only ever played Final Fantasy 7…in fact I bought a playstation specifically for it, then sold it when I completed it. I'm tempted with Final Fantasy 3 on the DS, but I don't think I'd give it the light of a day for a while as I've just got Pokemon Diamond. The figures look amazing, Japanese figures always do, especially when you compare them to figures made in other countries. And much like you (and everyone else it seems) I can't keep my figures in the boxes, they have to go on display as they look that good, but always try to keep the boxes somewhere and make sure they're on good condition, lol…I have a cupboard full of empty boxes, aimless.

  6. I really love that you guys are into Final Fantasy too! I thought I was being wild taking my figures out of the box but perhaps not. 🙂 Okay…how about the fact that I then throw the boxes away! I only kept one, the box for Yuna's FFX-2 figure because I thought the box was really nice. Okay the truth is that I ran out of space long ago to keep all of the boxes. 😛 Ivysgrandkid your connection with the FF series is really special! From game series to art to photography! The character art and CG animation is so amazing in this series and I can see how that inspired you. That's really awesome! :)Uzagaku I'm glad that you're wild too and take them out of the boxes. LOL. I wonder what collectors would say. Heheh! "Lupin Sansei." I'm not familiar with this series. If you get a chance share them with us on your blog please! 🙂 Is this a game or anime or both? You're new avatar looks cool! Kalinkross this small portion of my room pretty much represents what the rest of the room looks like. It's called maximizing small spaces or like you said it's probably more like insanity! LOL. I sleep on the floor on a mattress as that's the only space left. No real bed for me! Heheh. In fact I've been sleeping on the floor for years! 1/1 figures?! Definitely no space for one of those but if there was ever an Aichan 1/1 figure made I would move it in and sleep in the parlor! LOL. What is a meccha Hawaii figure? Please share. :)Paul that is the exacty same reason why I bought the original Playstation system. A friend had introduced me to the game and told me that FFVII was going to be the first of the series to be on this game platform. I have a tapestry of FFVII hanging in my room too with some of the figures in front of it. FFVII will always be special to me as it was the first one that I played. I was so hooked. Every day after work I would stay up for hours not leaving the room playing this game. I played it through 2 1/2 times and the 2nd time I changed all of the character names to Japanese celebrity and drama character names because I'm wacky! 😛 Off the top of my head I only remember that Cloud became Shinji (I think that was Takenouchi Yutaka's name in Long Vacation) and Aerith became Takako (Matsu Takako). 🙂 That's great that you're wild too and take the figures out of the box. You're lucky that you have room to keep all of the boxes as I've had to throw all of mine away except for one. :)Piscean that's great how a movie got you interested in the series! The music from FF is also great. Faye Wong's "Eyes on Me" is such a great theme song! Aerith's theme from FFVII makes me sad whenever I hear it. Right after Sepiroth took her life. I'll never forget that day when I was playing the game and that happened. I was shocked beyond belief. The second time I played FFVII I was trying to visit everywhere and find all of the hidden items/scenes. I logged about 110 hours I think. The scene where you go back to that church and see Aerith's ghost amongst the flowers where you fell through the roof is pretty cool and haunting. 🙂
