A kid complimented Saymi on her pale skin once. Can I take that to mean a darker skin tone is considered less desirable somehow in Japan?

  2. I guess that depends on who you ask. It's a subjective thing. I personally like the fair skin they have. But one thing is for sure, the Japanese have long been known for their beautiful light colored skin and when they come to Hawaii their skin isn't used to the strong sun we have here and they often turn really red with sunburn. Ouch! I didn't like the dark skin fad that was going on in the mid 90's in Japan but that's just my feeling. Sayumin does have beautiful skin.

Nice, cover, I'm really looking forward to this PB, who knows how long it will take to deliver….they always take so long when shipped to the UK, plus I've never bought one from an online store where I haven't had to wait a week or two for them to get it in stock , even when like this one I preordered it weeks ago.As for darker skin being less desirable than fairer skin I don't think it's necessarily true, I know when I was in Japan you had the craze of all the tanned girls with dyed blonde(ish)/ginger(ish) hair and their bright coloured lipsticks, kinda like how W in 'Miss Love Tantei' in some bits

  4. Ahh I'll probably have to wait longer than you since I have to wait till Mr.Children's new single is released.
