Back in '99 when I was working at Tower one of the great things about being the J-Pop buyer was being able to check out the releases before they went onto the sales floor. When the shipment with Momusu's "Second Morning" arrived I noticed something while I was pricing them. Looking at the cd spines I could see there were different colored booklets in some of them. The first pressing mentions a trading booklet but even with the word "trading" on the sticker on the outside I never really thought about there being different versions of the booklet. Till this day I believe there were at least 5 different colors but the thought of buying 5 copies of the same exact album just for a booklet seemed wacky. Since I'm just a little less wacky than that, I bought 4 copies of "Second Morning." that day. Some of the colors we only got one copy of while others we got a couple or more. In other words some of the colors never made it to the sales floor. I guess different stores got different colored booklets in various amounts in a kind of random way. So I'm not really sure how many different colored booklets were made. I think at least 5 though because I remember not getting one color that day. I'm not totally sure though. Well you might be thinking different colors and what's the big deal? The pictures inside were different on some pages while others were different takes of a same pose by the member(s). Since I only need one copy to play the other three cds remain sealed. Here are some pics of the 4 different versions I bought.
